How do I get rid of songs with complications? I would just restore my ipod, but I bought alot of new music, and I can't download it to my computer, I really don't want to lose it. Any help?
So, awhilw back I tryed to sync my ipod with my friends itunes library, my ipod didn't have any room to store all the music so all the songs came up but can't be played. I tryed to sync my ipod to my itunes library, and it keeps saying the ipod's over capacity and won't download any of the new music I bought to the library. If I can somehow back up my new music to the icloud or something, that'd be great that way I could just restore my ipod then download all my music back on it. Is there a way to do that or did I just waste thirty bucks on music I can't listen to?
You need to delete the music you got from your friend. You fried does not have the licence/right to give you a copy of it.
I would restore the iPod from a backup on your computer and sync your own media to the iPod.

That's like saying 'my house caught fire and burned to the ground, so I didn't have the opportunity to purchase a fire extinguisher'.
The iPhone is not a backup device. You can purchase 3rd party software that 'may' be able to extract the music from your phone, but there is no supported method to get music that was not purchased from iTunes off of your phone and onto your computer. -

Like whenever I want to delete a song from my phone, it shows the icloud sign. When I shuffle the music, it will still play the song. I just want to get rid of them off my phone so it won't play it ever again. I have ios 7.0.4. I know in ios 6 when you delete a song, it goes away from your library. I think there must be a bug somewhere. Some songs I can delete and they disappear. But none of my attempts to remove the Justin Timberlake song from Apple's 12 days of gifts have gotten me very far. I can 'delete' it so that it is listed as needing to be downloaded again. But it seems to be just marked as deleted. If I turn off 'Show all music' in my Settings, the song remains there, but no longer has the cloud icon beside it, but also will not swipe to show the delete button. If I turn 'Show all music' back on, the cloud icon reappears. Regardless the song will play, even in airplane mode. So it is clearly still on my iPad.
I have tried resetting my iPad - changes nothing. Apple seems determined that we keep this song!
Also, since I attempted to delete the song immediately after it downloaded, it doesn't appear on my iMac iTunes synch page. So I can't try to get rid of it that way.
Very frustrating. -

This isn't an annoying pop-up. Rather, it is seriously telling you that it doesn't know that you have licensed the software, and it will continue to be a trial, and will stop when the 30 days are up.
So you must tell it that you have licensed the software. -

I deleted Yahoo as a search engine.
To do this: on the right hand side of a toolbar there is a pull down menu which contains "manage search engines". Select this and remove "Yahoo".
BTW: the "Tools" - "Options" - "remove hardware acceleration.. " did not work.

I have photos on my iPad (the first apple device in our household) and then added an iMac and a Macbook air to our network. We have an airport 2TB back up device. How do I get all of my photos on all devices. My original iPad has images that my 2 newer devices do not have on iphoto.

How are the images stored on your original iPad? Are they in the camera roll, in events downloaded using the camera connection kit, or are they in albums synced to your ipad from a computer?
If the photos are in the camera roll or in events downloaded from a camera, you can transfer them to your iMac and MBA by directly connecting the iPad using USB. Then you can download the photos to iPhoto like from a camera.
Only, if your photos have been synced to the iPad from a computer, you will have to save them first to the camera roll; then you can download them by connecting the iPad via USB.
What IOS version has your iPad?
For new photos you might consider using Photo Stream to transfer your photos between the devices.

I had my last ipod stolen, when I got the 5th Gen I restored from my old ipod from itunes and now there is a bunch of crap on there that I don't want, but the songs only show up on the ipod so I can not delete them off of the ipod from itunes. Any quick fixes to remove the unwanted songs, or do I have to start over completely?
Do they play on the iPod?
If not then they are corrupted.
Connect the iPod to your computer and look at the storage used by the various categories as shown in the colored bargarph in iTunes.
Come back with the results.
