How do I get spouses and children on to printed labels and envelops?
I store spouses and children in the fields provided for these names. When I go to print labels, Address Book puts the primary name and one randomly selected child name on the first line. So if the person is Jane Smith, I have her spouse listed as John, and two kids listed as Jake and Janice, the label will read.
Jane Smith and Janice
142 Main St.
Nowhere, NH
Can I get the spouse name and the other kids to show up? How?
+Also, any tips on dealing with couples with two last names? That's more of a data entry question, but if anyone has ways this works for labels but also for logical address book and iPhone look up.+
Turn iCloud contact syncing off and choose keep when prompted.

I just noticed that some of the movies I had in iTunes did not get transferred to the iPhone 5. The missing movies are shown as generic movie icons in the iTunes panel and are checked to select them. 1. iTunes won't offer cloud downloads for songs that it "thinks" are in your library, even if it "knows" the files are missing. If you've exhaustively searched for the missing files and there is no prospect of repair by restoring to them to their original locations, or connecting to new ones, then delete that tracks that display both the missing exclamation mark and are of media kind Purchased/Protected AAC audio file. Don't hide from iTunes in the cloud when asked, close iTunes, then reopen. You can download from the cloud links or iTunes Store > Quicklinks > Purchased > Music > Not on this computer > All songs > Download all.
2. Why? Not sure, perhaps 3rd party tools or accidental key presses combined with previously hidden warning messages when trying to organize the library. There is a hint that using the feature to downsample media as it is synced to a device may also be involved, though I've not replicated it. Whatever the reason a backup would protect your media.

I am trying to use powerpoint but when I open a document I want to work on it does not open on my desktop. It appears as open on mission control but it disappears offscreen. How can I get it to open where i need it and can work on it?

How can I get iCloud to accept my working Apple ID and password
My Apple ID and password works for iTunes and App Store. I'm trying to set up iCloud on my iPhone and iPad but i keep getting an error message that reads unsupported ID. Apple ID must be in the form of email address (@me.com). I don't have a MobileMe account. How can I get iCloud to accept my working Apple ID and password?
I've also reset my password to my Apple ID. I still get the Unsupported ID and password.

When my 6 year old daughter plays the free games that I have downloaded for her IPAD and IPOD, I am now getting upgrade charges on these free games to my AMEX Card. Why is this happening and how do I get my AMEX card off of the IPAD and IPOD?
She is making in app purchases. Probably not knowing what that means to your monthly credit card bill. Use the Settings app to enable restrictions and turn on restrictions for iTunes, App Store and in app purchases, mabe some others too. The restrictions will be set with a passcode to prevent your daughter from changing them.

The rest of my music is still on my iPad, so how do I get it from my iPad to the computer, and back on my phone? All my music is sitting there safely on my iPad, but whenever I try to sync it with my computer the only option I get is to wipe the iPad and replace it with the files on the computer---which is only a fraction of what I had originally. How do I fix this?? It even deleted my playlists, and I now only have some 200 songs left out of what used to be over 1000!

You can't undo that.
No backup of the current state of the new phone was made. It was wiped and the last backup of your old phone was restored to it.
Anything you had on the new phone is gone. -

I figured out how to fix the flashing yellow screen problem that I've been having on my MBP! Yessssss!!!

I followed the instructions on this page and here's what I did:
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.
I went through the 6 steps above twice, just to make sure I got rid of whatever stuff was holding up my bootup process. Since I did that, my MBP boots up just like normal. No flashing yellow screen anymore!!

How do I get the Itunes Music Library to stop showing and asking me to purchase the songs I have drug in for playlist?
If I make a playlist of my favorite Sax players by dragging there songs from their homepage into my playlist not purchasing them. Those songs appear along side my regular songs in my overall music library with option to buy them. The only way to get rid of them in my Music library seems to be to delete the playlist.
