Your model can produce two bands....either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz....but not both simultaneously.
You would need a Generation 2, 3 or 4 Time Capsule for simultaneous dual band capability.

She can't from iCloud without setting up your iCloud account on her phone. But just sync the same apps from your iTunes Library on your computer to her phone.

Unless I have misunderstood your question, a 'connection' and a 'session' are the same thing. When you obtain a database connection, you have created a database session. Once you close that connection, the session dies -- it no longer exists. You cannot obtain the same 'session' when you get another database 'connection' (after you closed the first one).

I found a post from Alope that told me exactly how to fix it.
Go to:
Settings - General - Restrictions - put your pass code in - Facetime - turn the switch to ON
Worked perfectly to stop the message that said, Not authorized to do that!

The only way to synchronize is connecting to FaceBook. I just set up my girl friend's iPhone to connect with FaceBook, which then updated the phone's level; then I downloaded the app (again) on her iPad and selected connect to Facebook. I'm not sure what the downfall of synchronizing through FaceBook is.... all I can tell you is it worked and now her iPad shows the same level as her iPhone. Good luck!

Yes I can add audio, how do I get the same song to play throughout the chapter menus? I have 30 "chapters", which are scenes from an hour of home movie. Can the same song play continuously throughout the different chater menus?. As it is now, I have to drag an audio file into every submenu, and it starts the song at the beginning for each chapter menu.

I'm not sure what you're asking.
Option 1 on a Mac keyboard (at least one with the same settings as mine) gives an upside down exclamation point.
On an iPad, hitting the 123 and holding down the exclamation point gives you access to the upside down version.

Hello! this is my first time posting a question in this forum, hopefully there will be some clever people out there who can help me!
I have a wrinkled eye texture (see below)
How do I digitally manipulate it so that i can use this same texture to on top of other photos so that it fits/blends well with people of different ethnic origins?
my aim is to make poeple looking older using the same texture.
So far I've tried:
- Making the texture black and white and use different filters, but it doesnt work on all the different skin colours and it doesnt look real.
- Using Multiply filter after adjusting the original texture - that seems to work well except on people with darker skin, then the wrinkles are just too dark.
I would like to know if anyone knows a simple way where i can make this texture works on all skin colours, with out going in and adjusting the wrinkle texture one by one according to each individual.
hope my question isnt too confusing. any suggestions will be greatly appriciated!!

How do I get the same results as "Variations"?

I've just bitten the bullet and subscribed to Creative Cloud.
I've brought many old actions across, and the ones that contain a "Variations" step fail.
Having looked at many posts I appreciate that Variations is gone, and doesn't seem to be coming back any time soon.
Many people point out that the same results can be achieved via levels, curves, colour balance etc.
Looking at the variations step in an action (in an older PS version) shows a series of values, for example:
Red Gamma: 3.086
Green Gamma: 1.73
Blue Gamma: 0.552
Red White Point: 247
Green White Point: 247
Blue White Point: 247
Red Black Point: -1
Green Black Point: 0
Blue Black Point: 3
Saturation: 90
How can these numbers be used to amend the actions and give the same result via other means?

The variations are/were used in a product design context, to take a standard component and produce colour versions.
(So no photos to upload, and commercially sensitive images)
Variations was really convenient to use with the client - "a bit redder, bit darker" etc. and usually were the final step after a load of other Hue/Sat/Levels/Curves steps.
There's a lot of them and the original reference objects are no longer available.
I've been doing some tests today with references taken from expanding the "variations" step within the old actions like those above.
Using "Levels" and the Black Point, Gamma and White Point values in the relevant RGB channels gets close, (slightly off as it doesn't accept to 3 decimal places so rounds them).
However it comes unstuck as some of the Black Point values are less than 0 and there are White Points greater than 255, (-1 in the example above but some white points are at 263).
Also the Saturation value doesn't seem to relate to the usual method.
I'd understand more (whilst not being entirely happy) if they'd canned it completely when moving to 64bit, but JJMack points out that it was available in CC5, which I don't have and would be unsupported now anyway.
Those numbers must mean something.

IPad and IPhone synced to different PCs how do I get the same music on both devices? I used one PC to put CDs on ITunes but these don't appear on the phone which syncs to the Mac.

I have 1 ITunes account but my IPad is synced to a Windows PC to download CDs onto my IPad and the Iphone is synced to the Mac. I was hoping that the CDs I'd put on the IPad from the Windows PC would automatically appear on my IPhone when both these devices were sharing the same Wi-Fi at home. This didn't really work very well and I've been left with the CDs showing on the list on my phone but when I try to play them, the different tracks keep scrolling fast and not playing. I've tried deleting them from the IPhone, but they just seem to retreat to ICloud.
I've tried syncing the phone to the windows PC but this has just resulted in an error and I think this may be what has screwed the music up on my phone. I would just like to be able to listen to my CDs on my phone.
Has anyone come across this before and resolved it?

Terminology check here. Do you really mean a "CD"? There's a difference in Cloud behavior between content from a physical CD you ripped (which only has Cloud content if you have iTunes Match) and an "album" you bought from the iTunes Store.

The above can get pretty complicated. You are probably best off by syncing both devices to a single library and/or updating the libraries on both computers to have the same content.
