How do i keep songs in their albums when they have multiple artists

I've just bought myself a Classic, but I find that when I'm importing songs from a CD, that songs with multiple artists don't get put in the album, they get put in my library as a separate song. Is there any way to import all the song from a CD onto the album when it hits itunes library.

Songs can be removed from your iPhone by tapping 'Songs,' then swiping the song, then tapping Delete.

How do I keep the find bar open when scrolling through multiple tabs?

The newest update of Firefox doesn't allow me to keep the find bar open when shifting through multiple tabs. I've tried Findbar tweak however that erases the search criteria as soon as I try to scroll down the page to the next location. Anyone know how to keep the find bar open when i shift from one tab to the next?

How can I keep songs in proper album sequence?

Please help an old AOR geezer. I've got "track numbers" checked in my Edit>view options menu, but when I rip a CD to my itunes v4.8, the songs come out scrambled, usually to bad effect. How to listen to stuff in the right order? I know there's got to be a simple fix, but I've looked, and I'm not finding it. I didn't have this problem until recent downloads of new itunes updates. please help. Thanks

If I understand you correctly, what you may need to do it check the album information (right click on song, click "get info", click "info" tab) for the album you have loaded. If they are tracks from the same album, make sure under the "disc info" they are listed as Disc 1 of 1 and then each song should have its own track number like 10 of 12. If they are numbered incorrectly, rearrange the number to meet your preferences.
I know on one or two of my albums, when I imported them, iTunes rearranged them to a different order. I can only assume this is due to the album information iTunes has stored and when the music is imported iTunes arranged it to what they have on file.

When I import music from a cd, often it is broken into pieces if there is a collaboration on that song. For example, Santana's Shaman album is almost all collaborations with various artists so it is imported as a huge number of separate albums.

That's what the "Album Artist" field is for. The track artist can have all kinds of variations (especially with Santana!), but the Album artist should be "Santana" for all of the tracks and that will keep the album together. If the Album Artist field is left blank, you will get the behavior you have described.
I usually answer "no" when iTunes prompts me to import the CD when it auto-detects one... then I edit the Album Artist (which is almost never automatically filled out), then I import the CD.
You can edit all of the CD tracks simultaneously by selecting all of the track, right clicking and selecting Get Info. You can also add artwork at that point if you have specific artwork you want iTunes to use... I usually get mine from AlbumArtExchange.com.
If you don't edit the info before importing the CD tracks, you can sort by "date added" after importation to get all of the tracks you've already imported grouped together and edit the Album Artist field there.
You can see below that "Guitar Heaven" stays completely intact in all views even though there are many track artist variations.

You are not looking in the right place for your purchase history, you are just looking in your purchased playlist which is not the correct place to look.
To see your purchase history, click on your account name in the upper right hand side of the iTunes Store window. Then you may need to login again, then click on the purchase history button.
Here you will see everything you have bought from Apple Music and App store, you may need to select older history.
Apple do not charge you to download Apps again, IF you use the same account that you first bought them with.

It sounds like your iPod is set to use the Manually manage music and videos setting, which is on the iPod's Summary screen in iTunes. When you use the manual method, the iTunes library on the computer is not linked in any way to the library on the iPod.

So, that does not even matter. iTunes is not keeping the two libraries "in sync" in any way. First, if the iTunes sidebar (along left side of window) is hidden, from the menu bar, under View, select Show Sidebar. The iPod appears in the sidebar, under DEVICES, when connected.
To remove songs from the iPod manually, click the small triangle to the left of the iPod's name (in the sidebar) to drop down its content list, indented below the iPod. Click on Music there. The list of songs on the iPod is shown to the right. Select the song you want to remove and press Delete on the keyboard. You can do this with more than one song selected.
NOTE: It is a bad and risky idea to keep the only copy of song files on an iPod, which can become lost, broken, or in need of a Restore. You will eventually lose your music. You should keep all of your songs in your iTunes library on your computer (as the "master copy"). If the internal drive does not have the space, you should get an external drive that is large enough to hold all of your songs (with room to grow). You can then set up iTunes to store its iTunes Media folder on the external drive.

No. All imports go into a new Event. How many new events are created is determined by what you set in iPhoto's General preference pane in regards to how Events are autosplit during import:

I have noticed on my ipod in my car that an album titled "Christmas" plays and includes 2 different albums titled christmas... and in itunes it lists them both when not in the artwork view... Various workarounds I can think of which basically involve playing around with tags. See which meets your needs or come up with others:
Give the albums slightly different names. For example, "Greatest Hits" [ABBA]"
Do the same but do it in the sort album field.
Add a bogus disc number to different albums. It may string them together still but at least they will be slightly grouped.

What you need to do is go to music, and slide your finger to the right on the song you want to remove from your device. The song will still show in the music app but will have a cloud with an arrow beside it and you would have to re-download the song to your device to be able to listen to it. And also, this will only take the song off your device and it won't be removed from your library on iTunes. I hope this helps!
