How do I load/use custom patterns on Elements 11?

I have beent trying to follow the instructions found at the URL below (second half of the video) in order to load custom patterns onto Elements 11. The video says I need to go to C:/ drive, then Users, then my folder, then AppData, then Adobe, then Photoshop Elements, Roaming, and Preset(s). However, the only program folder in the Adobe folder is for FlashPlayer. I have searched the entire computer, and while I can find the Photoshop Elements folder, it does not contain Roaming and/or Presets folders. Please help!

The size of your photos and videos you mark in Elements for upload depicts how much data is being uploaded. However for download, only small size previews get downloaded first unless you download the originals from Elements whenever needed in any Elements workflows.

Hallo, I'd like to know if there is a (not necessary officially supported) way to use custom HTMLEditorSkin.properties in javafx 2.2.3.
The original file/files are located in jfxrt com/sun/javafx/scene/web/skinIf there is no way to do that, can something else be done to change languege strings and icons for HTMLEditor?

How to make JWS use custom, private JRE distributed through SMS

In our company, we would like to introduce JWS to deploy Java clients. Currently, we us software management system (SMS) to push the java clients to the workplaces. With JWS, we hope to streamline this process.
The challenge is the following:
For security reasons, our workplaces may only have one public JRE. Public = known by the system and used by e.g. the web-browser to run applets. The JRE that we need to run JWS applications is custom (we needed to add / replace some libraries to support SSO, ORB etc), and needs to be installed privatly, e.g. no entry in the windows registry etc. From what I understand, this could be achieved by specifiying an product version in the JNLP file plus a href attribute that specifies where the product can be found (<j2se version="..." href="..."/>). We would prefer though to distribute the JRE via the SMS rather than via a webserver in order to keep the network load small.
My questions are the following:
- Is it possible to instruct JWS, or configure the JNLP file in a way to force the usage of a JRE that is laying in a particular path on the local file system? (Have the SMS distributed through the SMS?)
- If not - so if we cannot use a SMS for distributing the JRE - how can the JRE be retrieved? From what I understand, a servlet needs to be listening at the "href" location?
- Is there a way around the servlet? We hoped to be able to use a plain HTTP server to keep cost low, so if there is a way around needing a servlet to serve the JRE that would be great.
- If not - what logic should the servlet implement? Is there a reference implementation? Is there a new mime-type needed?

Did you also place a deployment.config file , to point to your deployment.properties file?
In the deployment.properties, specify the location of your custom jre:

Looking how to create a halftone pattern in a logo shape.
Instead of the typical circular pattern that is used I am looking to create a halftone pattern using a logo.
I don't know if this is possible thought I would ask and maybe someone knows how.

What do you mean by "offset"? Are you talking about the rotation of the screen?
The only "benday screens" I'm familiar with are those that used to be applied to things like cartoons or other line drawings to create tints or suggest shading. They were nothing more than tint screens printed on an adhesive overlay sheet that was applied and cut with an Exacto knife. If memory serves, they weren't always dots. There were lines and hatches, and mezzotints in various densities, too.

What do you mean by "photographic dot screen"? All such pre-computer graphics films involved litho camera photography in their manufacturing process. If by "photographic dot screen" you mean a subtle fuzziness or irregularity, that may be due to the manufacturing process (did you know that Zipatone lettering sheets were screen printed?) or the repro process (acutal dot gain and spreading in the printing).

How to create and use custom exceptions with ADF JClient

The forms developed using ADF JClient by default use pessimistic locking and throw an AlreadyLockedException if more than one user tries to modify the same record. I need to customize this exception so as to display the name of the Oracle user who has locked the record. Is this feasible? If yes, how can I achieve this.
PS: I've already tried creating my own messageBundle to customize the error messages. Even though I can change the message there, I'm unable to find any information in AlreadyLockedException or JboException that directly gives me the user or the oracle session id that has locked the record.

this information is not exposed through the JDBC driver and thus nit available to BC4J. So the answer is that you can't get this information.

How do I load an upgrade version of elements 11 to a new PC.

I have upgraded from Win XP to 8.1 by buying a new machine. I have a valid copy of elements 11 on DVD. This was upgraded from elements 8 which was downloaded and those files have been lost. Windows 8.1 will not read the DVD.
How can I get PSE11 onto the new machine?

I would guess that that would require two applets.
The first does nothing but create the custom class loader and then load the second applet.

Which version of photoshop are you using?
After you define a custom pattern it should be added to the bottom of whatever patterns are already loaded.
For example, if you define a custom pattern and then go to Edit>Fill>Pattern, the newly defined pattern should have been added to the existing loaded patterns.

Anybody help me to sort out my problem. The scenario is,

1.My client manufacturing material (A), which is used to produce actual finished goods (B). First material (A) is produced and sold to customer due to the high cost of the material. I followed standard sales order process to sell material (A). (But actually that material is not delivered to the customer, we just deliver it only in the system)
2. Then the same material (A) is to be brought in to the plant as customer material. It wont be included in the value of the plant, because it is customers property lying in our plant to produce actual finished goods (B). How to inward the material in to our plant?
3. Pattern/Die material has periodical maintenance to be done by my client. How do we process this in SAP? (Because that material is not our asset or work centre)

Hi,
You have two main options,
Either you receive the material as a non-valuated item (you can use a PO and zero price if you want, or create a new material for it). The problem with this is that if you use Moving Average Prices and don't use a new material it will corrupt the MAP. If you use a separate material then this would be the preferred option.
If you can't use a separate material (i.e. one that is different from the material used to sell it to the customer) then I would use the second option.
The secomd option is to bring the item in as Vendor Consignment stock. This is stock available to use but has nop value until you consume it. The problem with this option is, if you consume the item (in a PP order or goods issue to your own stock or similar) the system will post a liability to the vendor which it will expect top be paid.
So a lot depends on the detailed process you are planniong to use and if it is a separate material master record.

Issue with calling url using custom uri from page loaded in stagewebview

I am using stageWebView for showing webpage in my mobile app but don't know how to move back to my app once it gets loaded. In application descriptor file, I had already registered custom uri scheme (myapp://) for IOS devices and from the loaded page inside stageWebView, I was trying to call following URL myapp://webcam. But nothing had happened. It neither called LOCATION_CHANGE event of StageWebView not called INVOKE_EVENT of nativeapplication.
How can I fix this issue?

yea it gets launched correctly from safari. But my problem is with the link(which is using custom uri scheme e.g myapp://backtoapp) in the loaded page inside StageWebView. It is not allowing app to moveback to app from StageWebView. Moreover these two event listeners INVOKE_EVENT(native application) and LOCATION_CHANGE(stagewebview) are not responding. Dont know what should I do in order to move back to app area(mainView.mxml) from StageWebView(native browser).

Detecting when exception was thrown using custom class loader

I would like to implement the solution described here - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/75218/how-can-i-detect-when-an-exceptions-been-thrown-globally-in-java - that uses custom class loader in order to detect when an Exeption thrown somewhere in the JVM hosting my app, please note that exceptions might be thrown from 3rd party jars the app is using. So, thanks to help I got from another post, I've managed to code the custom class loader. My question is how can the class loader wrap the original exception, as the methods in ClassLoader deals with classes, not instances. So where should I set the original exception?
