My totals add the sub total figure as though it were an item.

Thank u all...I have the same problem. For years I have been able to delete emails from my ipad and have them remain on the server so I can deal with them on the desktop. Now they get deleted from the server when deleted from the ipad, which makes the ipad unless for reading mail.
You answered to delete the email account on the ipad and set up a new one as a pop. I have made many attempts to do that in the incomping mail server "Host Name" field but it always errors out even when the host name is equal to what my desk top has. So I can see no way to change away from IMAP. I started with an ipad 1 and now have an ipad 2.

You would have to delete the existing iCloud account and create a wholly new one - you cannot change the @icloud.com email address of the one you already have. To make a new one, you will also need an new AppleID as any AppleID can only have one iCloud account associated with it.
Deleting the account will not delete anything off your device (if prompted for things like contacts, choose to keep them). You will have to sync everything anew with the new account as you cannot move your sync'd content, your old backups or anything else from one iCloud account to another. You will have to set up sync again and let it sync to the new account, and then make new backups to the new account as well. -

Start with reinstalling Snow Leopard:
Clean Install of Snow Leopard
Be sure to make a backup first because the following procedure will erase
the drive and everything on it.
1. Boot the computer using the Snow Leopard Installer Disc or the Disc 1 that came
with your computer. Insert the disc into the optical drive and restart the computer.
After the chime press and hold down the "C" key. Release the key when you see
a small spinning gear appear below the dark gray Apple logo.
2. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue
button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
After DU loads select the hard drive entry from the left side list (mfgr.'s ID and drive
size.) Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window. Set the number of
partitions to one (1) from the Partitions drop down menu, click on Options button
and select GUID, click on OK, then set the format type to MacOS Extended

I have a macbook pro 13" 2008 with 8 gb of ram that has been showing stuttering in hd video lately (or maybe when i upgraded to lion). I created another user and it doesn't seem to suffer any stuttering. Perhaps it doesn't have weird things running the background like the 655mb kernal task I see in activity monitor. i backed up my ipod during a windows backup. how do i find those ipod files(not itunes) in the windows backup files? i've tried searching and i can't find
so i plugged in my ipod and it asked if i wanted to backup the files before restoring it.
Do you mean iTunes asked if you wanted to backup files before restoring? If so the it is in the location I posted. You don't need to navigate to the backup. Once your restore your iPod it will ask if you want to restore from a backup and present you with the backups made before hand.
To restore information from a backup, use one of the following methods after connecting your iOS device to the computer with which you normally sync:
-Click the File menu and select Devices > Restore from Back up.

-Open the iOS device's Summary tab. There are two ways to access this:
-Click the device button in the upper right corner. (If viewing the iTunes Store, click the Library button in the upper right corner. The device button will then be visible.)
-From any view in iTunes, click the View menu and select Show Sidebar. Select your iOS device in iTunes under Devices.
-Click the Restore Backup button. -

There is no analog to MS Excels print range. So the next best thing is to plan your data so that you don't need to use print range. The next best thing after that is to select the range of cells you want to print, then copy, the switch to the application Preview, and create a new document from the clipboard (select the menu item "File > New from Clibboard") then select all, copy then paste to the destination (maybe an email) .
You can also paste that portion of the table into another table (or a new table) by pasting values only -

I try to run Java programs that require Java 7, but it runs with the Apple Internal Java 6 release. How can I make it so my MacBook Pro runs the download of Java that I downloaded? I know this sounds stupid, but am I routing my machine to run the internal Java 6 version? Thanks!I think I've answered your question. The Oracle JRE is a web plugin. The JDK is a development kit for applications with embedded Java. Neither one replaces the Apple-distributed Java frameworks for running standalone applications without embedded Java. Any other questions you have should be answered by the Oracle documentation.
