Firefox 4 and later versions save the previous session automatically, so there is no longer need for the dialog asking if you want to save the current session.<br />
Use "File > Exit" or "Firefox > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit Firefox") if you want to restore multiple windows.<br />
You can use "History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time.<br />
You may need to click the orange/gray Firefox button to see History.<br />
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default <b>about:home</b> Home page.
    Another possibility is to use:

You can achieve this by going into system preferences>general>uncheck "close windows when quitting applications."  The apps will open fullscreen next time, even after a reboot.  One caveat, the window will open in the last session left...
    Hope this helps!
Thank you, this resolved my question as well.

  • How do I make Firefox open to one of my saved tabs?

I pretty much always have a few select tabs open. Is it possible to make Firefox open to a certain tab whenever I open it? I know it will open to the tab that you were on when you last closed Firefox, but it is not always on my mind to navigate to that tab that I want opened whenever I close it.

Thanks, but that did not help: I know how to change the homepage of your browser.
I want Firefox to navigate to a certain tab whenever I launch Firefox. There is an option regarding homepages that makes it so it shows your homepage on launch, but this makes it unable to save your tabs and windows

  • How do I make a contact photo full screen when receiving a call

I know this feature went away in iOS 7.1 and turned into the small round bubbles but it appears to have returned in iOS 8 and Apple is advertising it on their site in the Yosemite pictures. Does anyone know how to make my contact photos full screen again?
    Scroll down to Continuity: http://www.apple.com/osx/

There isn't a setting but there is a trick (at least on earlier iPhones but I suspect the 6 as well). For the photo to be full screen it must be a photo taken on the iPhone and still resident there. If you import the photo to a computer, delete it from the phone and then sync it back via iTunes, it will not display full screen. If the photo was taken on a previously owned iPhone and transferred to your new 6, it will not display full screen. If it is any consolation, I think the circular pictures are better when placing a call as the full screen ones aren't very visible behind the outgoing call screen, at least with my settings.

  • How do I make a photo a full screen wallpaper on my iPhone 4S?

I emailed myself a photo I took and set it as my home screen wallpaper, but unlike the last time I did this (before I did a restore on my iPhone) the image did not cover the entire screen. How do I make it cover the entire screen?
    Thanks
    Brian

When you touch the email icon, it takes you to Mailboxes. You can view the integrated Inbox which shows you all inboxes, you can select the individual account inboxes, or you can select the individual account and that will display all of the folders for the individual account (inbox, sent, trash, etc.). If the iPhone should open to a particular folder instead of Mailboxes when you touch it, you can always touch the arrow in the upper left corner to take you back to Mailboxes.

You can try to delete [http://kb.mozillazine.org/sessionstore.js sessionstore.js] and sessionstore.bak in the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox Profile Folder] in case session restore tries to open an older session.
    * Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
If you see files sessionstore-##.js with a number in the left part of the name like sessionstore-1.js then delete those as well.

  • How do I make a utube video full-screen in iweb?

    Hello,
Is there a way to make a utube video that is on my iweb-built website, full screen?
Everything about the videos I have imported from utube works fine, except when I click on the full-screen icon...nothing happens.
View the videos (2) here: http://www.lakesweddingmusic.com/Welcome.html
What inspired this question was coming across a site where there is an imported utube video that does go to full-screen, when asked!
The website is here: http://talentgb.com/users/peter-brown-wedding-party-pianist  and it's a site which features exactly the same video as one of the ones on my own site - it's a promotion ste for musicians.  (You have to scroll down the page to just over half way down to view the video).
Maybe I'm missing some important HTML that will allow full-screen?
Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi OT,
    Thanks for your reply.
    My HTML ebedded code is:
    <iframe width="640" height="360" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/a7Cu2n1mAYg?feature=player_embedded" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
As you can see, it includes 'allowfullscreen', but not ' ="true" '.  I thought that maybe the exclusion of the phrase   ' ="true" might make a difference,  until I discovered the embedded code is the same in both videos:
http://talentgb.com/users/peter-brown-wedding-party-pianist contains exactly the same code as the video at:
http://www.lakesweddingmusic.com/Welcome.html   Yet talentGB  allows full screen, but Lakesweddingmusic (my own site, built using iweb) does not.
Could this be something to do with Mountain Lion not 'liking' certain aspects of iweb?

  • How to disable app from opening into full screen mode

Dear all I'm on OSX 10.8.4 and every time i start an app it'll go to full screen even after quiting it and opening the app again. Is there a way to stop this from happening

Full-screen mode is controlled by you. If you take it OUT of full-screen mode (go to the very top right of the screen, wait for the menubar to drop down, click the blue inward-facing arrow icon), and THEN quit the app, it will remember the preference and open in normal windowed-mode next time.

  • How can I make firefox open with certain tabs?

I'm looking to make is so every time I choose to open Firefox, a few selected tabs open. For example, I open Firefox and a tab for Facebook opens, and tab for Twitter, a tab for news, etc. Wondering if there's a way to do this.

You can add the URLs separated by spaces to the target file of a (copy of) the Firefox desktop shortcut.
If you exceed the maximum length the use a cmd file instead to start Firefox.
    * start "" "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" <url1> <url2>

  • How can I make Firefox open .eml file with Thunderbird (Windows XP)

I have a webpage that has links to saved .eml files (Thunderbird saves email messages as .eml files). When I click on the link Firefox treats it like a .txt file (displays source). I want Firefox to use Thunderbird as helper application but I have not been able to find a way to do that. Even setting browser.helperApps.alwaysAsk.force to true doesn't bring up the open dialog box. Nor can I manually add eml to applications list. Help needed!

That happens if the server sends the .eml file as text/plain and not as a generic type like application/octet-stream that would force Firefox to download the file.<br />
In such a case there is not much to do about it then to contact the site and ask them to change the content type for .EML files.

  • Opening .pdf via hyperlink in excel always opens reader full screen

Using excel 2003, I have hyperlink cells that point to files on my local machine, with names like "file.pdf".
When I click on these links, excel launches acrobat reader (as expected) but for some reason reader *always* goes Full Screen no matter what I do.
How do I make it open NOT full screen?  This is very irritating.

    Hi,
You know I have to thank you for the solution as by asking your question you provided me with a way to solve my problem .....
As double clicking a pdf file when the application is open with no open document works as I want it to (i.e. showing the new document in the existing acrobat window), so I decided to try out a plain vanilla shell instruction in vba instead of the AVDOC.Open statement ... and ....although not very programmatically aesthetic ....  it works.
