My dorm doesn't have wifi, hence the reason to get a router. I plug my ethernet cable into the airport and I have wifi, but it's so slow that I can't even load a webpage, let alone any video. The macbook pro is 6 months old and we just purchased the airport a couple of days ago. A lot of the other people on my floor have wifi, but there's is all a lot faster than mine. Any reason why that is or how I can increase the speed of my wifi?

Most likely your school provides Internet service to your dorm room via a router. When you connect a router (not just an Apple router) to an Ethernet port on the wall it will be downstream of that router. When you have two or more routers in series you have the issue of a condition known as Double NAT. This is one reason for the slower performance.
To resolve this you would need to reconfigure your AirPort Express as a bridge (disable both NAT & DHCP,) using the AirPort Utility from your MacBook.

Apple AirPorts cannot wirelessly "extend" a signal from a third party product. They can only wirelessly "extend" a signal from another Apple router. Another way of saying the same thing is that if you want to wirelessly extend a network using an Apple router, you need two Apple routers.
You have two options:
Option 1. Add another AirPort Express and install it close to the ISP modem/router using an Ethernet cable and configure the Express to 'create" a wireless network. Then, your other AirPort Express can wirelessly extend the signal from the first AirPort Express. The "extending" Express will need to be located where it can receive a strong signal from the first Express.
Option 2. If you cannot run the Ethernet cable....or....you do not want to add another AirPort Express, then a pair of Ethernet Over Powerline (EOP) adapters might be able to send the Ethernet signal over the existing AC powerlines in your home. These products are also sometimes called HomePlug adapters.
The theory with these devices is that you already have the wiring in place.....you just need the adapters. In practice though, things do not always work as well as the theory might suggest. So, if you decide to try a pair of these adapters, then it would be good idea to understand the store's return policies before you buy.
Any computer / electronics superstore will have a selection of EOP adapters. Ask the salesman what type and brand that he would recommend.

Do not confuse the creation of the crops and the display in collections per crop ratio.
Of course one virtual copy (VC) per crop ratio is needed. If the same image should be cropped in all 3 mentioned ratios there would be 3 VCs.

After having created the virtual copies for whatever crop ratio he wants, the way to display this result in the fashion asked for is via smart collections, provided they can be found. Without a plugin the naming of the VC with the crop ratio applied is a straight way to achieve that.

I would suggest that post-routing should not be used. The way to go is to use translation routing applications. Although post-routing is easy to set up, almost all deployments require translation routing. I can't think of anything good to say about post routing, other than it's trivial to configure.
You want the main route point to be on the CM_PIM.RC for a number of reasons. You can check to see which of your IVRs are on line, and/or to do load balancing. If calls don't need to go to the IVR if agents are ready, you can have an LAA Select node immediately, and then translation route. Even if you just have one IVR, translation routing will enable you to do RONA more easily.
You need to bite the bullet and learn translation routing. If you do it that way, peripheral variables attached to the call remain unaffected whether the call is under the control of the CM_PIM.RC or the IVR_PIM.RC. This is exactly what you want.
There is no need, in my opinion, to go to an external database. In your IVR, decisions made by the caller (e.g. which "skill" they want) set peripheral variables. When the call comes out of this script you check the peripheral variable, and depending on the value do a queue to the appropriate skill group and run external script (BasicQ.aef).
Separate the intelligence gathering IVR script from the Queuing script. Allow ICM to make the routing decisions.

Why would you think that all stores would have the same policy?
Amazon allows it, iTunes does not. That is why. Like most companies, Apple does not forward explanations to al of their decisions to the general public. A couple of things, first could you re-phrase your question? It reads like you want to backup your iMac to your MacBook, if so I'd strongly recommend against even trying to do this. I woudl recommend getting an external HD or better even 2 and creating a Time Machine Backup and on a second HD create a bootable clone.
