How do I move my itunes account from one computer to another comuter

My computer that has my itunes account is about to die. I need to move the entire account to my new computer. How do I do this without losing all my itunes library? I have several different ipods that access this account.

One way is to Drag and Drop your Entire iTunes Folder from your Old Computer, to an External Hard Drive...
Then Drag and Drop it to your New Computer...

Before you change the country, note the following:

- download all purchased content

You will not be charged and the download will not appear on your Purchased page. If a previously purchased application is not available in your new country, you will not be able to download it again for free.

- If you have purchased a Season Pass, you cannot change the country associated with your account until that season is done airing and the last episode of the season has been added to the iTunes Store.
Taking the above into consideration, here's how to change your country:
1. Open iTunes and click Sign In.
2. Enter your iTunes Store account name and password, then click Account Info.

You can authorize the new computer from the Store menu. The menu bar is initially hidden but can be revealed with CTRL+B.

Yes, you can move the hard drive physically from one machine to another provided you are placing it as a secondary drive in the new machine. You can connect to the transferred library by holding down shift as you start iTunes, then browsing to the relevant folder and opening the iTunes Library.itl file inside. You may however want to reorgnize the drive if you're disposing of the old machine as its system files etc. will be redunant. In this case I suggest you move the iTunes folder to the root of the drive before you connect to the library. You should also deauthorise the old machine before you dismantle it.
Ideally you should take a backup of your library before you start just in case something goes wrong. See this User Tip.for a suggested technique. Works with external drive or network shares.
