How do I print a pdf without the standard crop marks that appear when I have created it in Illustrator originally?

I am so frustrated as I cannot work out why my pdf files that I have created in Illustrator, print out on my printer with crop marks as well as scaling the image to fit them in on the paper. I just want to be able to print it out without the crop marks at the correct and original size it was designed in.
Help Please.

The crop marks are part of the design, no reason why Acrobat wouldn't print them. You could try cropping them out in Acrobat.

How can I print a pdf in the actual size with a page border? (2 pages per sheet preferred)
I usually print pdfs of books at a copy shop and they turn out fine.
The problem comes when I try to print the same books at home.
I use Adobe Acrobat X with the same settings: "multiple pages per sheet" (2x1) and page border. But the pages are slightly shrunken when printed. I think this is because my printer can't print as closely to the margins. Still, two pages should be able to fit on one sheet in actual size. Are there any layout settings that I can play with to find a better fit, besides portrait and landscape?
If I select page scaling "none," I'm able to print the pdf in actual size, one page per sheet. But there's no option to add a page border.

I have a test with some questions (multiple choice, FIB, matching, etc). I have just one button to submit all the answers, and after submiting the student can see his score and review the test to know where he failed. He can't answer again. However, he can change the answer multiple times before submiting.
"if i turn on success/failure captions the student will see them while answering" - before submitting
"if i turn them off he wont know what's the right answer" - after submitting
My results page is the default. I didn't use any variable. When i go to the results page after reviewing the test all the entry boxes are "wrong".

How do I export a PDF without the print bleed extra "stuff" around the edges?

I know my question wording sucks, but I didn't know how else to put it.
I created a document in ID for print with a bleed. When I export to PDF, the image is not cropped to the finished size of the page, but includes the excess background images that I extended beyond the page bounds for a bleed. I am now trying to export a PDF that can be sent in email and will not be printed, and so I would like to export a PDF file that does not have any of that extra stuff (I have turned off the printer's marks) around the edges. But my PDF has the excess stuff and a red outline around the actual page dimensions. How do I export a PDF that is cropped to the correct page size (8.5" x 11")?

i have a problem exporting as a PDF also, i have done this before successfully and i have unchecked all the boxes to turn off bleeds etc, etc... however the bleed area is still coming through. I have tried saving the file under another name, closing down and reopening - nothing seems to work. I'd be very grateful if someone could offer some advice on this.

How can i print an email without the attached pictures printing as well?

I am trying to print an email that has pictures attached. I do not need the pictures to be printed.
The pictures are showing in the body of the email.
When I try to print it scales down the text to make two of the pictures fit on the first page.
How do I change this so I can print the text separately?

If the sender embedded the image instead of attaching it then you could try selecting only the text before printing That should print without the images. Thunderbird will only prints what is selected unless there is nothing selected. Then it prints all. You can test this with Print Preview.
If the image is truly an attachment, then go to the menu bar and select View and uncheck Display Attachments Inline.
No menu bar? Press the alt key.

How can I print my calendar without the color codes?

I need to print my 2005 and 2006 calendars (one month to a page) and then to highlight some of the line items for certain dates. I don't know how to get rid of the darn "color coding" so I just get a simple calendar with no group colors. I appreciate your help! Thank you!

Thank you so much for the reply but that only removes the times from the screen. Even when they are not visible on the screen, they are still there when I print the calendar. Do you know how to get them to not print?

When adding a PDF file to a New Message in Mail it does not show up as an icon link, the entire document appears. How can you attach a PDF without the entire document displaying itself?

After scanning a document, I save the file in a PDF format. When attaching the PDF file to a New message it appears on the entire page instead of a PDF icon link that the recipient can click on to open. Why can't I get the PDF file to appear in a icon format? Thank you.

How to implement custom lov button without the standard template.fmb?

i am developing a application using oracle forms 10g. i can't use the standard template.fmb because my application does not run in ebs. there comes the problem: i want to implement the lov button function like the template does, such as :
1. when the text item get focus, lov button display.
2. when the text item lost focus, lov button disappear.
3. when scrollbar scrolls, the position of lov button adjust accordingly.
4. there is only one lov button in one form and the lov button was created dynamicly.
i found it's so complex to do this.

When printing in Safari how do you remove the header and footer. I am using PDF creator to save pages as PDF for things like online pay slips and want them to be 'clean'.

Help! How do I publish without the "standard" pop-up Home menu (when you tap)

I have a standard CC membership and Apple Enerprise Dev. I just test published my first interactive iPad demo. However, as in the Adobe Viewer, if i tap the screen, the white overlay menu on top becomes visible. Does anyone know how to avoid this? Thanks :-)

This problem started when i downloaded firefox 8 and is still there with 9.0.1. The Video DownloadHelper and Tab Mix Plus are announcing new updated that were installed weeks ago. How do I stop this?

How do you get your mail on your iphone to mark as open when you have opened the mail on you desktop ?

No mail client does that. It will be marked as read that's it.

Every time I go to type in something on a search bar/log in/etc., a drop down box appears listing everything that's been typed in.

Is it possible to add accented or alternate characters to the pop-up lists that appear when holding keys?

I like the ability to press and hold letter keys to get accented and alternate character options, and would like to add even more options. For example, holding the "D" key does not give any options, despite Đ/đ being used in many languages. I can type the letter by switching keyboard inputs (in my case, from U.S. to Serbian-Latin and then pressing "]"), but it would be so convenient to just press and hold "D" and then type "1" or click it.
I was thinking it would also be nice to customize the pop-up menus, for example to add Greek letters that are frequently used as mathematical symbols (α for a, δ for d, μ for m, etc), again to save time from going to the Character Viewer or having to remember a bunch of multi-key shortcuts. Any insight would be great. I imagine this could be useful to many people.

I just installed FireFox 4. In previous versions typing in the Google search box automatically created a drop-down list of items. One could click on an item on the list and proceed to a Google results page. In FireFox 4, the list appears but clicking on an item on the drop-down menu does nothing. It's broken and it was a very useful feature in previous versions.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

You installed the "DownLite" trojan, perhaps under a different name. Remove it as follows.
Malware is constantly changing to get around the defenses against it. The instructions in this comment are valid as of now, as far as I know. They won't necessarily be valid in the future. Anyone finding this comment a few days or more after it was posted should look for more recent discussions or start a new one.
Back up all data.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Right-click or control-click the line and select
          Services ▹ Reveal in Finder (or just Reveal)
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item named "VSearch" selected. Drag the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password.
