How do I print multiple (identical) spreads on the same sheet in InDesign?

I have a quarter-page booklet (4.25" x 5.5") that I would like to export as a print-ready pdf with 2 identical spreads on each page. Thus, each printing yields two copies of the book. Otherwise half the page goes unused and the print cost is double! I can't figure out how to make this happen--any of you clever creatures have a solution?

Try using picture package. There is an option to print 10 copies on a single sheet.
1. Select your photo in Organizer
2. Click File >> Print
3. Choose picture package in section 4 of the print dialog
4. Select layout in section 5 and choose fill page with first photo
5. Click print button

How do I use multiple local workspaces for the same website in VS2013?

For quite some time I've been using VS2010 with multiple workspaces mapped from the same TFS branch to test different variants of a website in parallel. The internal web server (Cassini) seems quite happy to run multiple versions and simply maps a new port
number for the second and subsequent instances that start up.
We are now looking to move to VS2013, so have to use IISExpress since the 'internal' web server is no longer provided.
How do I configure things so that if I open a single workspace, IISExpress runs against that workspace using the default port number (specified in the solution), but if I open a second instance in a different workspace it correctly uses a new port number
and working folder. Do I need to invoke IISExpress using the command line (presumably from each workspace) and specify the relevant defaults or is there some way to enter this in the local config file for IISExpress?
My initial attempt at editing to config file resulted in the 2nd and subsequent instance using the same physicalfolder as the first instance, presumably because the speficied site name and port number are the same!

There seems to be a limit on how many apple ids can be created from the same cpu. Trying to create 100 apple ids for a client to use on ipads distributed to employees i found i could only create three or four before i got the message account cannot be created, contact itunes support. The only way I have seen is to have each device use a if fervent email account, if they all are on the same email the FaceTime connection is either to a phone number or to an email address. If they ar all on the same email, it is up to the user to decide which to use.

You can have identical libraries (contents, playlists and related information) if you set each user's account to reference the same .itl file.
Have a look at this article in the Apple Knowledge Base for details on how to do so.
By using the Choose Library option and linking the accounts to the same .itl file, the libraries will be the same and changes made to one will be reflected in the others.

You can select a range of songs by selecting the first, then holding shift when clicking on the last. You can ctrl+click to add or remove from the selection. Once you have a selection press Ctrl+I to Get Info. Type in the new Genre and press OK.

How can I delete multiple copies (600 ) of the same contact that ended up on my iPhone after backing it up on iTunes?

In syncing my iPhone 3GS on iTunes, I now have many copies of the same contact -over 1,000 in one case-on my iPhone. The cause was probably a USB glitch during a sync or when copying. The music resides on the phone in separate files. A master file contains a database with an index to the music, an entry for each track and a "pointer" to the file containing the track. Somehow the index got corrupted with duplicate entries. It's likely that the music itself wasn't duplicated, but some tracks had more than one entry in the database. I've seen this happen when syncing (rather than manually managing) also. In my case deleting the track from the Music tab in iTunes, syncing, then adding it back fixed it.
A related problem I've seen is an album may be split, with some tracks in each of 2 or more album entries in the listing. Fixed the same way.

This is the worst thing to happen to acrobat, in my opinion.
The clutter that it creates on my computer and the fact that i cant even see the document title when I have a bunch of them open (because the task bar is too full) is unacceptable.
I never would have changed from Acrobat 8 if I had known, and now I cant switch back (company license).

I have one apple TV but it is is access on multiple screens via a matrix system. I therefore need an apple remote in each room so I am not having to carry the same one from room to room. Please can someone let me know how this is achieved . . .

It's almost counter-intuitive the way this works. You have to actually "unpair" the remote that it is paired to - then once no specific Apple TV remote is paired, all remotes (any remote, including standard TV remotes) will work!
The step-by-step would be:
Using a remote that is currently paired navigate to General under settings.
Go to Remotes.
Select "Unpair Apple Remote"
Once unpaired, simply back out of all the menus using the menu button to see that it does work. Then try on your other remote(s). It/they will now also work.
You can even use the Learn Remote feature to use a standard TV remote. I use my Directv remote and it works great.
The ONLY thing you need pairing for is if you want only one remote to be capable of controlling the ATV. So therefore unpair any remote that's paired, and you'll be golden.

You may click on the "+" button to the right of the first multiple choice box to add more in the same line. When you hover over the button, the tooltip says "insert item beside".
