How do I print using Ideapad K1 and HP Officejet 6500 printer

Hi folks
I have been struggling to configure the ideapad to print with my printer. I have the Ideapad K1 with Android Version 3.2.1. (I upgraded from 3.1 to 3.2.1). I have absolutely no idea on how to get this done and there does not seems to be any documentation around this. Any help will be appreciated. I might end up returning both the ideapads if I can't figure out how t print. I have a HP Officejet 6500 series printer (pretty new).

This is pretty lame that the Ideapad does not allow you to print. It is quite inexcusable that for printing we need to buy an application or be limited to 20 prints (I can't seem to set up the trial application of printershare).
I honestly think I am better off retunrning both the ideapads and looking for alternatives. I am sure the Galaxy tablet will not have this stupid issue.

How best we can use the Rollback and RollbackAlways mechanism in Visual Studio Release Management Template

Hello All,
We need a clarification on Rollback and RollbackAlways in Release template.
We checked a scenario for Rollback and RollbackAlways:
In Release Template, we have the first activity as “Configure Application Pool” and then followed by a rollback action of “Create Application Pool”
and “Create Web Site” then followed by "Code Deployment" via TFS build.
We tested with 2 scenario’s:
With App Pool and Web Site already existing: when triggered the build, configure
app pool succeeded, then Rollback action was skipped (as previous action was successful), finally deploy the code executed (code deployed) and build got succeeded.
Deleted App Pool and Web Site: when triggered the build, configure app pool failed (as no app pool existed), Rollback action executed (as previous action failed) – created app pool and web site then finally
deploy the code executed (code deployed)
But build failed (Error: Configure app pool action failed).
Ideally the build should succeed as the roll back action got executed and code deployed successfully.
Please correct us if our understanding is wrong.
Also, Kindly let us know how best we can use the Rollback and RollbackAlways mechanism in Release Management

Rollback Always runs if any of the actions in the template failed. Rollback will run if action just above rollback fails or if any of the actions below the Rollback fails.

I think you come across this issue since you are using build to do the "code deployment" action. You should use the release template to do that.
As far as I know you cannot use Rollback to achieve condition check (App pool exist in your case) action.
For this you can create your own Power Shell component (which checks if the app pool exist and is not create it) and add it as a tool in RM server (RM Server Inventory).
Another option is you can follow the workaround in below thread "Answer" quoted below. That is execute Remove app pool regardless if it exist or not (which does not fail) and then create app pool.
I was able to get it working by removing the app pool which does not fail if it doesn't exist. Removing then creating seems the long way around but it works.

I have an ipad 3/32GB..I need more storage and not sure how to make better use of icloud and release GB

To add to my original question: I had a 1st generation ipad and 32GB was more than enough storage now I'm having trouble making movies, adding media, etc. I have bought another 15GB of storage on I cloud. Can I put all of my apps on i cloud?
I'm going to be taking an overseas flight and wanted to rent a bunch of movies but I'm not sure how to do that.

To answer your question, you could remove your apps and then download them again as needed. Your purchased apps are part of what is stored in iCloud and purchased apps do not count against the allotment anyway - As far as I know.
You would want to backup to iCloud before you delete the apps. If it were me, I would also back up and sync with iTunes - I still use iTunes and I back up to both iCloud and iTunes.
The suggestion that James made would be OK for bringing the movies with you on the trip .... But you need to be able to use WiFi in order to use the device and the way that I read your question, you want to download movies to watch on the flight. So that will not work on the airline flight. It would store the content for later viewing but won't work on the flight. That is my understanding of the GoFlex drive, but you would have to investigate it further.

I'm really sorry that I couldn't follow all the valuable discussions going on here, regularly. I need some immediate help.
I NEED A PHP SOLUTION. I'm able to generate FDF files using the PDF Form Template in PHP. So, I have a collection of FDF files, which seeks the PDF template, while opened and populates the template with FDF data. Now if I need to save this PDF file, I have to do it manually clicking SAVE option. But, I need to convert FDF to PDF in bulk. So, I need some PHP based solution. The PHP script takes the PDF template and the FDF file and merges them to generate a complete populated PDF file. I know it's possible, but don't know how. I've seen Adobe FDF Toolkit. But by default it doesn't show any guideline for PHP. Please help me to write this code. I'm a professional coder. I can understand your hints and tutorials. PLEASE HELP GOOD PEOPLE.

The only reason I am responding to this post is because the poster sent me a request through the forum message system asking for my help.
Although I did populate PDFs with FDF data generated by web forms a year or so ago, I have since abandoned that kind of solution. It was a big headache. I found it far more stable and flexible to use html, php and css to populate forms that are almost as nice looking as PDFs.
So my advice is, if you can possibly avoid going the FDF/PDF route, you will be better off.

Last time I checked, SMS was a service between carriers and doing SMS yourself was really tricky. Some services existed to let you do it but as I recall they wanted non-trivial money.
However, most phone carriers provide an email-to-SMS bridge of some kind.
So the easiest thing is just to send an email.
That's sending from a non-phone to a phone. There's a J2ME library to send/receive SMS from/to a phone.
However, this is from memory, and a little out of date, so I could be entirely wrong. Hope it helps anyway.

Yes you would have to use his details.
It may be that he uses a sub account for e-mail, as its not really a good idea to use the primary account, as it cannot easily be changed, should it get too much spam mail.
If you have a mobile phone which has a BT FON application for it, then he can enter the details for you, and the password would be hidden.
He would still have to do the initial registration.

I have a HP Officejet 6500 that I used with a HP dv6 computer. I upgraded to a dv7 with Windows 8 I want to download the HP solution center but the disc that came with the printer is not compatible with Windows 8, only XP and vista. What are my options for getting HP solution center??

How to Create Table Using Column Drag and Drop Feature

Hi:
I am new to Oracle SQL dev Data Modeler tool and would like to know if there is a way to create a new table by re-using the existing columns or column groups. The idea is to maintain consistency and save table design time. If columns created previously can be re-used and require drag and drop of column in the right pane, then only new columns need to be manually created.
Any thoughts on this will be appreciated.

I checked out the video and tried it in Oracle designer, it works and works great!
My other question is that I may have several set of columns that I may want to group depending on the table requirements. Can I have multiple templates and choose which one to apply to?
Also, how do I choose the table where the table template needs to be applied. As I may be interested in applying the table template to selected tables only.

How to track line using webcam vision and move along it

Hi everyone,
I have a question which I can't really find any topic about it.
Currently, I had made my rover robot to be control wirelessly using a 3-Axis joystick and working perfectly.
But I would like to add some features to the vision system on board the rover.
I am trying to make the webcam to detect black line against white background and then it will just autonomously move along the the black line.
The thing is I only know abit about vision setup.. So if any one out there able to guide me along the way?
Do I use colour pattern matching or colour matching or pattern match?
How to I make sure the black line stays in the middle of the vision?(Eg. moving itself to centre the line within its vision)
How do I control the motors using the vision aquired from the above?

Pattern Matching or Color Pattern Matching would be to slow.
I would use a Simple 1D Edge detection which returns the coordinates and angle of the edge.
How to I make sure the black line stays in the middle of the vision?(Eg. moving itself to centre the line within its vision)
You have to control your motors that e.g. the angle is 0 or 90 degrees (depending on your coordinate system) all the time.
How do I control the motors using the vision aquired from the above?
The manual of this robot should tell you how to control the motors.

How to recover IDS using CD recovery. and/or password recovery

I'm getting the following error message:
"No Hard drives has been found. You probably need to manually choose device drivers for the installation to succeed. Would you like to select drivers now?"

Choosing yes doesnt lead to selecting drivers and I'm not sure how to install them. Choosing no doesn't help either.
Also I'm trying to use this recovery CD on other unit that is password protected and I lost the password for it. i can't even boot from the CD. It boots immediately from the HD and it wont let me go for the CMOS setup to change boot order.

Okay...first things first. The IDS-4210 does have a power button. If the bezel is installed, there is a silver button on the front that controls power. If the bezel is removed, you will need to push on the plastic circuit cover where the power symbol is located. The symbol looks like a circle with a vertical line at the top. Press directly on that symbol. Typically the sensor will boot back up if you remove power the way you described if it was running at the time. This is because the power settings in CMOS are setup to return to the last state (running, off) after a power failure. It's possible that messing with the jumper on the board resets this setting causing it to lose state, and thereby requiring you to manually press the power button to get the system to come back up. This should get us back to the HDD issue....
When you had the cover off, did you happen to check the power and IDE cables to the HDD? If not, try removing and reseating the connectors as a first step. You may also try moving the drive to the other bay and connecting it there (to rule out cable issues). This config should work, but it hasn't been tested. If you are still having problems, it is probably a HDD failure, and I would recommend RMAing the system. If you really want to make sure this is the problem before going through the hassle of an RMA, you can test the drive in a separate system (or swap with your second 4210). Just don't install two drives in the same 4210 at the same time.
On the second system, you indicated that it was not booting to the CD, but would boot directly to the HDD. This may still be an issue with your CD copy, because not all IDS-4210s will behave the same way, even with the same CD. We have witnessed this in the lab ourselves. My only guess is that some of the CD-ROM drives are more sensitive than others. I would try to verify BIOS settings on this system before blaming the CD though, unless you have another CD to test with.
Regarding breaking into CMOS, can you describe what you are seeing when the system boots? Are you connected through the serial port or with a keyboard and monitor? If you are connected through the serial port, you may not see anything if console redirection is not enabled in the BIOS. You will have to connect a keyboard and monitor to fix this. If you are on a monitor, you should see one of two things...either a Cisco splash screen, or standard text POST messages with a prompt to hit to run SETUP. Hit while either of these is displayed, and it should enter CMOS setup once the initial cpu and memory tests are completed.

It's not possible to charge your account for your gf SMS messages, but you might look into Skype Manager: https://support.skype.com/category/SM_GETTING_STARTED/
Basically Skype Manager is an online tool which enables you to buy credit and allocate it to other Skype Manager members. It's mostly meant for business purpose, but for example I use it to manage my family accounts. I purchase Skype Credit and allocate it to my parents since they are not so tech savvy.

How can I still use CS5.5 and update MBP to Yosemite?

I want to update my MBP OS X to Yosemite, I did this on my Mac Desktop and my CS5.5 wouldn't run. I can't afford to not have CS on my MBP. Any help would be appreciated. I have tried to navigate through the customer support and forums, and I am sure that there will be something pertaining to this already asked, Though I can't find it for the life of me. I would like to update to CS6, However this may be cost prohibitive for me. Furthermore, I am not really interested in the very high cost subscription rates of Creative Cloud.

I am searching for java codes that uses JAVA NATIVE INTERFACE (JNI) for opening MSWORD 2003.
To be brief.
I created HTML form called Employee_data.
if i click on Submit button a word document should be opened.This should be using JNI.
I have also created a servlet in jsp to process the form data and store it into database(mysql).;
Please help me to find the codes to open MSWORD on submit click and to write the database entries into word file.Can i get the full code for that.This is so urgent.

The easest solution I can think of is to copy the math equation from the PowerPoint then paste in the Word document directly, there's actually no way to convert it to plain text, some equation is very complext, String variable is not suitable in this case.
