How do I re-download lightroom after My computer crashed?

I had lightroom on my macbook pro but lost it when the laptop crashed. I've looked through my account and I do not see anything saying that I even had purchased lightroom previously. I purchased and downloaded lightroom from the adobe website almost a year ago and I need to re-install it now

  • How do you re-download lightroom, after your computer has lost everything since the hard drive went?

    Needing help

You can either log into your Adobe Account or download it from here:
    Windows: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=113&platform=Windows
    Mac: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=113&platform=Mac
You'll need your original Serial-No. to activate the program.
If you purchased LR online and log into your Adobe account (My Orders), you'll also find the Serial-No. there.

P.S: Any backups of your images and/or your catalog available?

  • How do i regain purchased music after a computer crash?

My parents' computer crashed and I had to reinstall windows. I couldn't turn the ipod into a hard disk, so I figure I am going to have to import all of their cds again, but is there a way to get their purchased music back into iTunes? Thanks.

First of all try this method which works on some Windows PCs.
Open iTunes and select edit/preferences/advanced/general. Put a check mark in the box marked "copy files to iTunes music folder when adding to library" and also "keep iTunes music folder organized", then click 'ok'.
Connect the iPod whilst holding down the shift/ctrl keys to prevent any auto sync, and if you see the dialogue window asking if you want to sync to this itunes library, click 'no'.
Then go to file/add folder, open 'my computer', select your iPod and click 'ok'.
The music files should transfer to your iTunes.
If this doesn't work (and it may not because officially it's not supposed to), check out the instructions/suggestions here.
Music from iPod to computer (using option 2). This is a manual method using "hidden folders" and although it works, it can be messy.
Much easier ways are to use one of the many 3rd party programs that copy music from the iPod to the computer.
One of the most recommended is Yamipod. This is a free program that transfers music and playlists etc from iPod back to the computer. However, it does not transfer playcounts/ratings etc.
Another free program is Pod Player.
There is also CopyPod. This does preserve ratings/playcounts etc if those are important to you but this program is not free. It also supports video transfer.
If you are using iTunes version 7 or later, then you can transfer purchased iTunes store music from the iPod to an authorized computer by using the "file/transfer purchases from iPod" menu. Note that the maximum of 5 authorized computers applies here.

  • How can I get a new download of PSE12  I purchased after a computer crash?

How can I redownload PSE12 I purchased?  I lost my program after a computer crash.

The easiest way is just to download the trial and enter your serial number into that, but if you bought the download from adobe, you can also go the main page of adobe.com, look for my adobe and there should be a link there.

  • Re-Obtaining purchased music after a computer crash- How do you do it??

I've had a Gateway laptop for the last 2 1/2 years. It's been working well for me until about a month ago when it got a virus and crashed. I took it in and all my files were lost, including my music. When I first got this laptop and downloaded iTunes, it asked me if I would like to import all of my purchased music thus far to it. This time, though, it never asked me if I would like to re-download that music and I can't find anything that will let me do re-obtain it. Please help! How do I get all of my purchased music back after a computer crash? (I know that the music I didn't purchase via iTunes is lost if not already put on an alternate hard drive or on CD. I just really want at least my purchased music back!)

    You should backup your music.
You buy ONE download. It is your responsibility to backup your music.
If for some reason you have failed to backup your music (bad idea), then you can transfer from an ipod:
    File>Transfer Purchases
You should always backup your music (especially downloaded music) .

  • I am having trouble downloading lightroom to my computer.

Hello I am having trouble downloading lightroom to my computer. When I try to download the program I am directed to a page which says "You are running an operating system that Lightroom no longer supports. Refer to the system requirements for a full list of supporting platforms." what does this mean? is it my internet browser my computer my disc space? is this a common problem? how did you fix it?

It means what it says: you are running an operating system which Lightroom does not support.
Which operating system are you running. Is it a Mac or a Windows computer?
    Lightroom requires either:
Microsoft Windows 7 with Service Pack 1, Windows 8, or Windows 8.1
    Mac OS X Server v10.7, v10.8 or v10.9
    System requirements | Lightroom
If you're running Windows XP, or Vista or Mac O S X 10.6.8 or earlier then you cannot install or run Lightroom. You'll either have to upgrade or get a new computer.

I am trying to download Lightroom to my computer but it is not working out.  I purchased a license for it, do I need a serial number or something?

... but it is not working out
Why not? What happens? Is there an error message?
I purchased a license for it, do I need a serial number or something?
You don't need a license or a serial number to download Lightroom, which is the problem you state you are having. What is the license you purchased, anyway? Can you give us details?

  • After our computer crashed, itunes no longer recoginizes our ipods. How can I fix this problem?

After our computer crashed, itunes no longer recoginizes our ipods. How can I fix this problem?

Okay, update on my previous message:
I have replaced my iTunes-folder with a back-up version of the old one. Luckily this turned my podcasts back to normal and replaced the new 'library' with the old one.
This also solved the problem of having to erase your iPod or iPhone, which is no longer necessary.
    So my solution is:
    1. back-up your iTunes folder (located at 'User/Music/iTunes/')
    2. remove iTunes 9.0.3 completely (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1224)
    3. drag the iTunes folder back to the Music folder
    4. Re-install iTunes 9.0.3.
    It worked for me.

Assuming you are in a region where you are allowed to redownload your past music purchases, delete the corrupt tracks from the music section of your iTunes library, close & then reopen iTunes, go to the iTunes Store home page, click the Purchased link from the Quick Links section in the right-hand column, then select Music and Not on this computer. You should find download links for your tracks there.
While downloading select Downloads in the left-hand column and make sure Allow Simultaneous Downloads is unchecked. This seems to help with partial downloads...
If the problem persists, or that facility is not yet available in your region, contact the iTunes Store support staff through the "Report a problem" links in your account history, or via Contact Support.
