How do I remove a device from my apple id on the find my phone app with out erasing it becase it still belongs to my child? I need to remove a iPad mini and a iPod 4th gen.

If you haven't already, do Settings > iCloud and turn off Find My iPhone. You will have to supply your Apple ID and password.
Then do Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings to make the iPhone appear as if it just came out of the box.

You don't have to use the same iCloud account in order to track all your devices. You just have to sign into the iCloud account being used on the device you are trying to track in order to track it. When you sign in on icloud.com and open Find My iPhone, you will see all the devices with Find My iPhone enabled that are using the account you signed in with. To track a device using a different account, simply sign out, then sign back in using the ID the new device is using.
The Find My iPhone app works the same way. It will display devices based on the iCloud account you sign in with on the app. To track a device using a different account, sign out, then sign back in with the iCloud ID that the new device is using.

Settings > Messages > Send & Receive. Tap your Apple ID, then tap Sign Out.

This should remove your phone number from other devices using the same Apple ID with FaceTime and Messages. If the phone number is still available on other devices after you sign out of FaceTime and iMessage on the iPhone, you may need to sign out of iMessage and FaceTime on all your devices, then sign in to FaceTime and Messages again on devices you want to use.

You can repair the SD card using Disk Utility.
I suggest you copy the photos from your SD card, if you haven't done so already, before using Disk Utility to repair your SD card.

If it is showing up as Offline and also shows Lost Mode as Pending, then you did turn on Find My iPhone. Otherwise, you wouldn't see the device at all when you went to Find My iPhone in iCloud. If someone turns on the device and connects to the internet, then your pending Lost Mode transaction will process, and a lock code will be placed on the device. It will also show up on the map to show you the location.
However, if it does not come back online, then you won't be able to track it, nor will the lost mode command execute.

Well that stinks. I've been seeing Rotten Tomatoes everywhere online, they must be paying top dollar to get added on blue chip companies like Apple and others devices without an option to remove it or make it optional by the user.
Apple is in the business of selling movies too, they shouldn't have Rotten Tomatoes on there limiting the amount of sales a company can make, a lot of people, I don't know why, are so weak minded they need reviews and ratings to see a movie or not.
I guess I'm moving over to Roku 3 and returning my Apple TV if so. I just hate ratings and movie reviews on a device I purchased. I can understand if it was a free box but it isn't.
