How do I remove or at least "hide" unwanted purchased apps from my Ipad? Posed the question to Apple senior support this evening and we went to the Itunes store and removed all the unwanted icons from the collection of hundreds, one by one. Cleaned up the Mac Pro nicely, leaving about 10 apps I wanted to keep. Went back to the Ipad and they were all still there. Senior support hasn't gotten back to me yet. Any ideas? Thanks. kjbarnett
Since hiding them on your Mac (you did it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the store homepage ?) have you tried logging out and back into your account on your iPad ? I haven't tried it on the IOS 7.1.1, but with iOS 7 there was (or maybe still is) a 'feature' that meant that after hiding them you then needed to log out and back in on each iOS device for them to become hidden from the Purchased tab in the App Store app on it - tap on your id in Settings > iTunes & App Store and log out and then log back in.

First, you need to get rid of AVG. It may have alerted you to this, but in general it's not much good on the Mac.
Second, that indicates that you are infected with the FkCodec, aka Codec-M, adware. See my Adware Removal Guide for instructions on removing it. Be aware that AVG might interfere with your attempts to remove it, thinking that it is protecting you.

If you have not already done so, your chances will really improve if you....
1) Connect the printer to the USB port on the AirPort Extreme

I am having a heck of a time syncing my macbook pro with my iMac. I have all the updates and followed the instructions on apple.com, but there is no communication with either device nor an option that I find to sync them up. When I turn on photo stream on either device, it only selects a few, maybe 1,000 out of the nearly 10,000 photos I have. I try selecting all and then choosing photo stream but with no luck. I know there's a lot of you smart people out there who know what I'm doing wrong. Please help!!!

here's an example of a paragraph i've taken from wikipedia:
if you can see, in the paragraph aligned with the button "Justify with the last line aligned left" - the one above, i've marked with red lines the places in which a gap occurs all of a sudden, and i cannot undo them.
for the same paragraph below i used the simple "Align left" button.
can anyone please help me understand what has happened that made those gaps occur.
i use Adobe Design Standard CS 6 Middle East Version. this bug occurs in other font/languages as well.Thank you for providing the sample IDML file.
I still think it could be the used paragraph composer, maybe in conjunction with the used font. I'd change the composer to see, if the problem will go away.
@Willi – you are right, the story direction is RTL, but the paragraph direction is LTR. That's no surprise here since the ME version of InDesign was used.
I would change story direction to LTR, use the "normal" paragraph composer instead the global one.
Since the used font is not available to me, a substituted font is not showing the problem.
But that may mean nothing. I do not use the ME version of InDesign…

I can print using a usb cable and I can print from my iPad to the printer, but I can't get my macbook pro to print wirelessly. My printer is connected to a time machine/airport for the wireless connection. I've tried every combination of queue/printer/setup I can and nothing seems to work. Any help is appreciated.
I must not have been clear. I didn't originally connect it with a USB. I only did that to check to see if it would print at all. It did. I originally set it up as a wireless printer. And my laptop won't connect to it to print.

1 - the restore disks that came with the computer - if it came with CDs and you do not know where they are then contact Apple to see if they can be replaced
or
2 - the iLife DVD that you purchased
or
3 - the app store - log in under the Apple id used to purchase the software or to set up the computer - look under purchases - you might have to unhide or accept the Application first

I need to reinstall Bonjour on my Macbook Pro. I accidentally deleted it because I didn't know what it was!? And now my apps won't work that connect to my iPhone and iPad.
If you are talking about transfer while the iPhone is connected to the MacBook Pro by USB cable, try Image Capture.
If you are talking about transfer through iCloud, only photos taken after you turned on Photo Stream on the iPhone will be uploaded and available for download to your MacBook Pro. Try the method above for earlier photos.
If neither of those helps, you might try a general file-syncing system like DropBox. -

I purchased the Cars and Cars 2 bundle using my iPad 2. When I loged in with iTunes, the movies started to download to my laptop but somehow, I deleted Cars but Cars 2 and the iTunes extras for both are still there. How do I get Cars to download again? Thank you for your help.
By the way, I just purchased this movie last night. I somehow deleted Cars while the other parts of the bundle were still downloading. I tried looking into iClod but I was unable to find a link to download the movie again.

I have a 5s phone. How do I download ALL of the photos from my phone? When I downloaded all of them, just the photos on Camera Roll were downloaded. The photos in the folders were still there. Any help will be appreciated. Rosemary

When I purchase music through iTunes from my MacBook Pro, my iPhone 4 iTunes app cannot detect those purchase to allow them to download to my phone. If I open up the iTunes app and select "purchased > music > not on this iphone" it tells me "All of your available music has been downloaded to this device." However, my purchases are not yet downloaded to the iphone and not available to download. If I go to "purchased > music > all > recent purchases" it will show me the purchases that were most recent the last time I synced my phone, but not the purchases since then.
Any thoughts on how I can remedy this and make all of my purchased music available on my phone without requiring syncing?

Fortunately, AirPlay does not cost anything as it is a streaming protocol used by Apple. Currently, the AirPort Express and Apple TV are AirPlay-ready. A number of other companies, like JBL, iHome, Denon and Klipsch are also rumored to be working on AirPlay versions of their products.
Your other option would be to get an AirPort Express and connect it to your Onkyo analog or optical digital audio input and stream from iTunes that way. I currently do this with my 10+ year old Harmon Kardon HT receiver. -
How can I sync my iPad 2 with my new MacBook Pro when it is already synced with my old MacBook? I am getting a message on the new MacBook Pro that says I am not allowed to sync the iPad 2 because it is synced to another iTunes library.
1) ensure iTunes is authorized for your iTunes store account(s)
2) connect your device and right-click or control-click it in the iTunes Source list, then choose transfer purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
3) sync the device
iTunes will wipe the iPad but, since you transferred your purchases in the previous step, your content will be in your library and you can re-populate the iPad with it.
