How do i remove the border from the top of an image when my dreamweaver project is shown in IE8?

Hi,
I have a simple holding page...
http://www.mjcaudioservices.com
When viewed in IE7, the page displays as I have intended, with the image butted up to the very top of the page.  However, I have just upgraded to IE8 and the border "0" setting I have appears to be ignored.
Does anyone know why this happens in IE8 and how to fix?
Many thanks

Star!
Thank you

  • How do I remove the egdes of an image?

    Hello,
I am on Illustrator 2014, and I can't figure out how I can remove the edges of my photo.
The photo I have imported is shaped as a rectangle, and I want it to fit inside a Round rectangle frame.
So how do I cut out the edges?
The frame will be placed in the middle of a scene so I cant simply hide the edges by placing a shape over them, as it would overlay the background.
    Picture:
You can see the orange edges I want to hide/delete.

    Hi 2D,
    Here's what I'd do:
1 - Select the frame and the photo.
2 - Click with the right mouse button and select "clipping mask"
This way the photo will be shaped after the rectangle, but the black line will disappear. If you want to keep it, copy the rectangle before and adjust it above the clipping mask later.
    Hope this helped

  • How to automatically remove the wiki page's images from the Images library , when a wiki page is deleted

I have noted the following strange behavior inside my Publishing enterprise wiki site collection. Now by default when I create a new wiki page and I add Pictures to it, the pictures will be saved under the “Images” library and will be inside a unique folder
that have its name similar to the page name.
But when users delete the picture from the wiki page or they delete the whole wiki page, then the related folder inside the “Images” library will not be removed. So can anyone advice if there is a way to automatically remove the page’s pictures
folder from the Images library when the page is deleted? as currently i might end up having many pictures inside the Images library which are not linked to a wiki page, and they will waste my server desk space...

I think, not sure, there's no out-of-the-box solution in SharePoint for this problem. So I can only think of custom solution:
In event Receiver, ItemDeleting, you can delete images. The only downside is if some other pages are referring the images..... you need to check somehow which is quite time-consuming operations if you have thousand of pages in wiki library
A timer job, that will run periodically, every day or week, and clean all unused images.
Hide the default delete button and add your own. And then using your own custom layout page, show a 'configuration dialog' to user if they want to delete both page and images.
    Thanks,

Please do not tell me this is not supported out of the ox ,,,,, i that i should handle this process by myself !!! and SharePoint does not support this feature .... this is another  problem i should include in my list .....

  • How do i remove the top cover for the K410?

I spilled water on the top of my computer, and it messed up one of the USB ports on the top of it...  now the computer constantly pops up connect/disconnect messages.  I want to take the top bezel (or cover, or whatever it's called) off so that i can disconnect (or cut) the cable to that USB port, but i cant figure out how to remove it.  Does anyone know how to take it off?  It's the very top of the machine, which has the power button and 4 or 5 inputs.
Both USB cables go into one plug at the motherboard, otherwise i would just disconnect it there.  I suppose i could cut one of them at the motherboard, but i want to make sure im cutting the right one.
    Thanks for any help.

  • How can i put the top of index page when i move to my domain?

might be confusing question, so sorry.
just click this page and read the topic again plz.
    http://bigshouting.cafe24.com/
when you click, you could see not the top of index page but the bottom...
    how can i fix this?
Can you guys explain with procedure?

The problem is that you have a form at the bottom of the page that has a field set to 'autofocus'. Meaning that when the page loads it will automatically put the cursor in that box and of course to do so it will have to scroll down to it.
You need to remove the auto focus from that form field or move the form to the top of the page.

  • How can I remove previous results from a process on an image

I am doing a circular edge detect and allowing the user to move the ROI and change the settings on the fly. After a change I do another edge detect and all of the previously found circular edges remain on the screen. How can I remove those?

These are overlays generated by the edge detection routines. You can remove them just like any other overlays. The function is IMAQ Clear Overlay.

  • How do I change the size of an image when exporting from photos?

In iPhoto I could create jpeg images of various sizes by exporting  a photo and selecting the quality of the image and the size of the file.  How do I do that in Photos?

In exactly the same way. File -> Export. If all those options are not visible, note the disclosure arrow, indicated below.

  • How do I get the option to capture image when placing  signature for the first time.

According to the help screen for Adobe Reader the first time a signature is placed I should be presented with a dialog box that has the option to import a signature image.  But what I get is only the option to drag over an area of the screen to place an image which must be a pdf which requires a paid upgrade to create from an image file.
why is the help out of sync with the program?

Correct I’ve followed as you’ve instructed below, but this is my screen shot:
    cid:[email protected]
Note that 3 of the options are missing: Convert PDF to Word or Excel Online, Create PDF, and Add Text or Signature are all missing. Why are these missing and how do I correct this so they can be used?

  • How do I get the transparency option to open when saving a project?

I am working with a .tif and I remembered that I have to flatten the photo, so I went to Image menu and selected flatten.  Then I went to File menu and selected save as.  It seems though that I have missed a step in the process.  I don't know if there was something I was supposed to do prior to the File menu. When in the Save as menu, I save the image as a TIFF and not a psd. Another dialogue pops up and this is where the transparency option is but it is greyed out so that I can't select it.  What am I missing?

Thanks for your help!  I just figured it out. Your reponses led me to what I was missing...which was the removing of layers after I was finished editing the image...once I did that, when I went to save the image as a .tif, the save transparency option opened...Thanks again!

  • !!!How to remove the top 'Window' menu in Applet!!! PLEASE

How do I remove the top 'Window' menu? SDI (single document interface)? or something? How to I enable SDI in 9i? Can't find this answer anywhere.
I managed to remove the rest of the default menu items at the top, but I DON'T WANT THAT 'WINDOW' ITEM STAYING THERE.

Edit your base html files and add the USESDI=yes parameter to the serverargs parameters.

What is the name of the toolbar?
It depends on how the toolbar was installed:
*Some are controlled by settings in the application that installed it
*Some are simple extensions and can be un-installed in Tools > Add-ons > Extensions
*Some are installed as programs and are un-installed in (Windows) Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs
