I had the same problem- go to Utilities, General, Use Side Switch To, and change it from Mute to Lock Rotation- this solved the problem for me.

I have the same problem on my iMac. My facetime has been working, but now I'm getting the same error as You. I've been through the following:
The stuff that Linc Davis suggested, new profile on iMac, moved iMac into DMZ zone with no firewall rules, tested with other Apple-ID, checked hosts file, checked different timezone settings, tried to connect to 2 mobile APs (with diferent providors), changed DNS servers (ISP's DNS + Google DNS + Open DNS) - Nothing helped. Also talked to Apple Support, since i have Apple Care, but the seem to be a bit clueless also Well I've mailed them the results of my different tests, so lets see what they come up with - Unfortunately I'm sure it will be the same suggestion as all the major PC manufactures suggests, reinstall and test - RIGHT !!!!!!
If I get solution, I'll post it here.

An alternate email is not used for resetting security questions, do you know if you have a rescue email address on your account ? If you do then follow steps 1 to 5 half-way down this page and you should get a reset link on your account : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer your questions) then you will need to contact Support in Saudi Arabia to get the questions reset.

When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down the HT5312 link above to add a rescue email address for potential future use -

Many thanksiDVD has been discontinued by Apple and new machines don't include it or even a DVD drive for burning.
If you've purchased the iLife suite on DVD then you can re-install iDVD from it. It is not a part of any OS X. -

There are several different incompatible media sold as writeable CDs. You MUST match the media to the abilities of your drive.
I was flummoxed by buying 8x media when my drive was a 2x drive. I needed the other type, and there was nothing helpful in the diagnostics or the packaging that helped me understand that.

I recently had to update to os10.10 and consequently office 2011 with outlook. All was going well with the outlook mail until yesterday when the outlook send mail stopped working, receive works ok. I get error code 3259 and the message "an operation on the server timed out. the server may be down, overloaded, or there may be too much net traffic." In the details "Mail could not be sent. Account name: "[email protected]" The send failure occurs on my yahoo accounts, gmail accounts and comcast accounts. Both send and receive work ok on apple mail. Can anyone help me sort this and avoid going to microsoft support?hi i had the same problem today when i updated my itunes to latest version. however, i have just found my songs in the 'itunes media' folder. this was accessed through 'my music' then keep clicking through until you find itunes media and all my library songs were in there and i then just added these files to my library and all were restored however, i have lost all my playlists but at least my 700 songs are back. very dissapointed with apple that they have let this happen with their latest update, the previous version was miles better than this one . hope you find them. stevo

albaAre you talking about FCP X? You just need to open the App Store application in the mac, login with the same Apple ID you used to buy the software, and click on "purchases".
If you mean legacy Final Cut, then you probably need to have the original disks, but you should ask in the Final Cut Studio forum. -
I wish to convert my Matlab files into .dll's so that I can use them in LabVIEW. I am using 'mcc' and 'mbuild' of Matlab to convert my .m files into .c and .dll.
When I try to run the .dll's in LabVIEW, I get an error message in a modal window stating some required .dll or procedure is not found.
How should I resolve this issue. Should I add any other Matlab .dll's in course of making my .dll?
