Are you getting Airport confused with Airplay?
Secondly, I don't think a Mac can be used as an Airplay receiver. You'll need an Apple TV for that. There are third-party software packages that can turn your computer in to an Airplay receiver, but I'm not sure what the rules are about mentioning them here on Apple's forums.

Your iPod certainly has iOS, but updating iOS from the iPod doesn't arrive until you get iOS 5 or later on it. Connect your iPod touch to your computer and launch iTunes. Note that if you have a first-generation iPod touch, it can only run up through iOS 3.1.3. A 2nd-generation iPod touch can only run up through iOS 4.2.1.

HA! I figured the find my iphone out!!!!! You can have more than one icloud account in "Mail, Contacts and Calendars". So my husband's & kids' phone icloud account under "settings, icloud "is their individual @me.com account. Set it to everything you want EXCEPT Find My Iphone. Then under "settings, mail/contacts/calendars" you set up both accounts (your @me.com which may already be there), then add another with the main appleID and enable ONLY Find My Iphone. Now when any of us log into Find My Iphone from any device with our main apple ID for the app store, all the devices show up!!!! YIPPEE. I made my own day!
I think the message I got previously was because I hadn't disabled the find my iphone on the @me.com account first. -
I have the original iPad and I don't have an option in Settings, General for Software Upates. The App Store only has a Spanish version. Does anyone know how I can update to iOS 5?
If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.0.1. For the iPad Mini the iOS is 6.0.2. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.
Tip - If connected to your computer, you may need to disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily. Then download and install the iOS update. Be sure and backup your iPad before the iOS update. After you update an iPad (except iPad 1) to iOS 6.x, the next update can be installed via wifi (i.e., not connected to your computer).

Go to Settings -> icloud and then you should see your icloud id, scroll to the bottom and select delete account, you are then able to add your new one.

Let me first say that I am NO EXPERT with anything Apple and really have only started looking into this iCloud stuff a few hours ago because I'm trying to help my mom free up some space on her iCloud. But anyway, here's what I'm learning and what I THINK might be happening to you.
Also, if any Apple support people (do they browse the forums to dish out helpful hints?) or people who probably know infinitely more than me about this stuff, please do chime in and confirm / correct my statements!
This is what I gather.
iCloud for Windows is set up with a local folder (let's call it "C:\Users\Administrator\Pictures\iCloud Photos\My Photo Stream") where iCloud will store photos uploaded to the Photo Stream. This will allow you to view your Photo Stream photos on your PC.
This does not mean that this is a PC backup of your Photo Stream photos, but just a way to view your Photo Stream from your PC. That being said, the general Photo Stream rules apply: 1. No videos are on the photo-stream, and 2. Photos on the Photo Stream will be removed after ~30 days and/or after hitting the Photo Stream limit of 1000 photos.
My guess is that the iCloud Windows App will delete photos from the local folder that are older than ~30 days and/or delete all but the most recent 1000 items if the 1000-item limit is reached.
That is a scary thought! I really hope you did not lose all your pictures, but my guess is that the iCloud local folder is NOT meant for backup but instead is the iCloud Windows App's sandbox for updating and managing Photo Stream photos.
All that being said, I'd say it's important to back up your photos in a separate folder not related to the iCloud local folder. -

iPhoto on the iPad can be used to make photo books, but not calendars. It is a very different program from the Mac version of iPhoto. I hope you have access to a mac to create your christmas calendar.

What format are those music scores (I'm not familiar with cubase documents). But, it may be that Adobe PDF Pack doesn't support that format. In that case, Acrobat is the way to go. You can then print your files to PDF as you'd like. You're welcome to try Acrobat for free for 30 days to see whether it's going to work for you. If you decide it is, and you'd like to use it going forward, you could convert your PDF Pack subscription into an Acrobat subscription.

Are you sharing your apple id? You can check if your email is included within the message settings in "settings >> messages >> send and receive" and remove it from that list on the other phones.

I recently switched to Aperture. When I opened an image I imported from iPhoto, I don't have an option to edit it. Top of "Adjustments" tab says "image offline". How can I adjust Aperture so I can make adjustment to my iPhoto images?
I never tried importing from the iPhoto library as referenced images. I wonder if Aperture can access images stored in an iPhoto library package? Even if it would work, it sounds like a bad thing to do.
You might consider starting over and this time have Aperture manage the images. That will copy them to the Aperture library, leaving the iPhoto library untouched. This assumes you have sufficient space to make a complete copy of all the images in your iPhoto library plus another copy of each image that Aperture makes as the preview image. You can then back up your iPhoto library (two backup copies, just to be sure) then remove it from your hard drive when you start getting too low on space. As I write this I don't know where your iPhoto or Aperture libraries are/will be located so I'm assuming you have them on your HD. -

You are not doing anything wrong. The January 2014 update of Photoshop CC added the option to embed OR link Smart Objects. Until this Photoshop CC update, Smart Objects were always embedded in the Photoshop document. Although it made the file size larger, it was like a built-in backup plan because any placed files were included in the document. Now you have the option of embedding or linking the Smart Object. Linking references the file rather than actually copying it to your current file. In terms of your small tutorial, choose Embed.

I have the HP D110 AirPrint printer. As I recall, it was configured in Ad Hoc network mode when first received. It was necessary to set it up to access my WiFi router before I could use it with the internet connection. Then, as part of the setup process, it downloaded the latest firmware update from HP. This was all done from the printer control panel, and no PC was needed.
As Pvonk mentioned, your router must be able to correctly handle Bonjour data for iPad to print to an AirPrint printer. Go ahead and try it, it may work. If the iPad can't find the printer, you will need to contact Verizon for help in configuring the router or getting a different router that is compatible.
By now, you should realize that a PC is needed to update the iPad. I assume your Dad visits you when he needs use of a PC.

How can I set up my 4s so that when I need to access my apple account to either download an app, update an app or buy something then I need to just put in my password? This is how my 3s worked but the 4 s seems to have stored all my details so I don't need to log in. My young son sometimes plays games and I dont want him to accidentally buy stuff. If I log out then each time I need to go back in I have to put in all my account info. Not just my password.
Any ideas?Depending upon what version of iOS that you have on it then you might have a Settings > General > Restrictions > Require Password setting on it - if you do then set it to 'Immediately'
