How do I set up my second ipad with a different name?

My second iPad keeps automatically starting up with my previous iPad's name. I don't want that to happen. I want to set this one up with a different name. How do I do that?

Settings>General>About>Name. You can type any name that you like in there.

On my computer I have serveral different folders to separate mail as it comes in. How do I do this on my IPad mini IOS 7? There seems to only a very limited number of folders I can use and cannot change their names. Is there a way to separate my incoming mail on my mini IPad as I do on my IMAC?

You can only create folders in the mail app on the iPad if you have an IMAP email account. If your email account was an IMAP account, those folders would have already synced to the iPad. If they are not already on the iPad, your account isn't IMAP and you can't create folders.
The folders that you created on the iMac are for local storage and organization only. The Mac Mail App allows you to do that. There is no such feature for the mail app on the iPad.
Just to be sure and as a double check ..... If you go to your email account in the Mail app and look at the window where your inbox, trash folder and sent folder are - if there is an Edit button at the top of the window - tap that and then tap Add Mailbox at the bottom.
If the Edit button is not there - you cannot create folders on the iPad. Your email account is not IMAP. Only IMAP email accounts can create folders on the iPad. Any folders that you would already have in an IMAP account would sync to the device as well.

No you do not need separate Apple ID's in order to use 3 devices with one Apple ID. I use 4 devices to Message and FaceTime and all use the same Apple ID. You do need to add additional email addresses for the other devices.

Hi, my friend has recently bought a second hand iPad and has been having problems using it with her iTunes account. She has the latest version installed on her laptop but when the iPad is connected, a window opens to say it cannot be used because it requires iTunes 10.1 or later.
Is it possible to use a second hand device with an existing iTunes account and how do you get the latest version of iTunes on the iPad?

Has she access to another computer with iTunes. If so, attach it to that briefly to see if she gets the same message. If she does not then the problem is iTunes on her own laptop. This can be resolved in two ways. If the iTunes update was recent then do a system restore on the laptop and then update iTunes again. (Be careful that such a restore has not ramifications as regards to new programmes installed in the interim.) Now try connecting again. My wife and I share an ipad. I downloaded Skype last night and signed in with no problems. My wife now wants to use it but we can't find any way of logging me out and logging her in. You need to ask your mail provider for the setup info. Usually it can be found on ther website in their help pages or the like for most email providers.
If its a known service like hotmail, or gmail, there are preset options for those that fill in the required server info.
If its a corporate email, the IT department should have this information.
