    hi.......
    how do i show javascript in java application? ( run javascript in java application )
    thank you...
    ( i love java developer)

    From java you can run any program. You can run javascript in a browser.
    So you need to open a browser in java to run the javascript.
    This is unlikely to have the desired effect however. Why do you want to this?

    There probibly isn't one.
    vbscript and java are rather different. You are better of opening a vbscript viewer from java as a sperate program.

  • How do i  open browser in java application

    hi....
    please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    how do i open browser in java application ? ( for show javascript in java application)
    thank you.......

    You can run any program from java by doing
    Runtime.getRuntime().exec("mybrowser myjavascriptfile.js");
    The real question is why would you want to.
    I would suggest you rethink whether running Javascript from Java is a good idea.

  • How to call javascript from java application

    How can we call a function written in javascript from java application (core java not applet)? How will java identify javascript?
    Is there any such options ?

    Try creating a page called launcher.html (for example). That does this:
    <html>
    <head>
    <script language="javascript">
    windowHandle=window.open("http://www.javasoft.com", "", "height=700,width=1000,status=no,scrollbars=yes,resizable=yes,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,top=5,left=5");
    </script>
    </head>
    </html>Now you launch IE (or whatever) with this page using the Runtime class. After x seconds (after the second window has been launched) try killing the process. Hopefully it will kill the original window you opened and not the window you popup (the one without toolbars etc)
    It might kill both windows but I can't be bothered to test it. If it does you'll have to try and find a workaround.

  • How can I get back into my application aftermath invoking Start up page of index.htm ?

    Gorgeous Hello All,
    If anyone of you can please provide me a solution for the following, will help me in plentious and galore.
    Am using Adobe RoboHelp, Version 10 and IE version being 10.
    A hurdle :-
    I have a application which has been developed in ASP .NET, Version 4.0. Help link has been created in this application wherein here the Start up page of index.htm has been linked to be read from the RoboHelp local project folder\!SSL!\Multiscreen_HTML5\desktop. All are working absolutely fine except when
    I login into the above-said application -> click on the Help page -> the index.htm opens with Contents, Index, Glossary -> Am able to successfully perform any task by respective clickings
    -> But I am not able to get back into my application when I click on the IE provided Back button (Alt+Left) -> Any amount of invoking Back button makes the system getting looped into this Start up page of index.htm only -> When I Close Tab (Ctrl + W) or Close ( X ) -> The window session gets closed and I have to repeat all by relogin once again.
    How can I get back into my application aftermath invoking Start up page of index.htm ?
    (I can always get back into the application easily by erasing those parts in the url which refers to this RoboHelp linkages – but this certainly looks non-polished work)
    Help Please

    Hey Jeff, I used Internet Explorer 10.0.9200 and Google Chrome 26.0.1410. Alas - it is the same behavior.
    (But Jeff : When I used Microsoft HTML Help as primary layout to generate chm file , My Help when launched from my Application opened in a new browser window and when I closed this Help browser window did not close my application. Looks like need to write few liner code to get this issue settled )
    Thanks Indeed of lots for your concerns Jeff !!!

    Hi Louis,
    You can refer to the following Bertram's article:
    [Inter-Application-Navigation in Web Dynpro|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sapportals.km.docs/library/user-interface-technology/wd%20java/wdjava%20archive/inter-application-navigation%20in%20web%20dynpro.pdf]
    The process of accessing the Application URL parameters is explained for Target Component.

    How to use " toFront() " method in java application and in which package or class having this toFront() method.if anybody know pl. send example.

    The API documentation has a link at the top of every page that says "Index". If you follow that and look for toFront(), you will find it exists in java.awt.Window and javax.swing.JInternalFrame.
    To use it in a Java application, create an object x of either of those two classes and write "x.toFront();".

  • How to load word .doc-files into java applications?

    Hi,
    I want to load a word .doc-file (or any other type of document) into a java application, as part of the application.
    Is there any java special library to do it?
    Any solution or hint?
    Thank you.

    No, there is no existing Java library to do it that I am aware of. You could write your own, however, as the Word 97 binary file format is published. I am not sure that the Word 2000, or XP formats are as well, but since they put out the 97 presumably they'd do the same with the rest -- although I am suprised that Micro$$$oft even published the 97 format.
    A library such as this would take quite some time write, due to the extensive format, but here's a link to a copy of it just so you can see what it'd take: http://www.redbrick.dcu.ie/~bob/Tech/wword8.html
    Also keep in mind that Micro$$$oft has never remained binary compatable between versions. In short, this means that you'd have to parse each version's documents differently. Not a fun task.
    If a Java library to read Micro$$$oft file formats already does exist, I'm willing to bet that it costs $$$ mucho dinero $$$.
    Hey, aren't proprietary file formats just wonderful?
