Can anyone tell me how to sort books into categories on my IPad? Thanks!

If this is in the iBooks app then you should be able to create new collection via the Collections button at the top of the bookshelf, and you can then move books into collections via the Edit button at the top right of the bookshelf (that should let you select books and then move them)

From the library view in iBooks, you can create and access Collections, and place books into them.
Tap Collections, and you will see the New and Edit buttons.
From the bookshelf, if you tap Edit (upper right) you can then tap the book and then Move to move it to a collection.

Yes, but the recipient may not be getting the full image file that was used to make the Shared Photo Stream. You would have to run a test to see if there's any reduction in the image and file size. The following is from iCloud: Photo Stream FAQ

How do I organize books into collections in iBooks?

I would like to know how to go about organizing books and pdf documents into Collections on my iPad. The iPad Use Guide i have reviewed gives no explanation. the iBooks support web page merely says it can be done, but does not explain how. Thanks for your help on this.

On the bookshelf in the iBooks app, tap the Edit button at the top right of the screen, then tap the book(s) that you want to put into a collection so that they get a tick on their bottom right corner (tap a book again to deselect it), and then tap the Move button at the top left of the screen - you should then be able to move them into a existing collection, or tap the New button on the pop-up to create a new collection to put them in.
To then view a collection tap the Collections button at the top left of the bookshelf (or you might be able to swipe/drag across the bookshelf to scroll through your collections).

I am working on a similar issue. I can get the PDF into Keynote using Acrobat Pro (very expensive) I am usingit on a Mackbook Pro Retina. the issue I am having is that the PDF shrinks to fit the PDF to the slide and when it does that it changes the word placement. It stays in the same colum but part of the word is on top and the rest of it is below the top. I have to spend some more time on it. I don't think that you will be able to do what you want with the ipad? The Ipad and the Imac are two different programs with the full program on the Imac.

I have several books by the same author (20+).
These are in three series (and sub series)
The library sorts by AUTHOR just fine, but then puts the books in ALPHABETICAL order.
The SERIES order in not ALPHABETICAL.
The last (latest) book starts with "A", but the first one starts with an "O"
Is there a way to change this?
Can I change the file name and add a NUMBER in front of the name to force a sort?

The best I came up with was sortingby publication date - at least that gets them in the right order if not in series / sequence order.
The alternative is a pain - down load them in series order then sort by download date.

Sorting Contacts into CATEGORIES for MBP and iPhone

i seem to be missing something and I'm hoping someone can help me out.
i have a macbook pro and an iphone and my understanding is that I /can/ add a CATEGORY to a contact that I add on the MBP but not when I do this on the iPhone is that right?
i mean, let's say I want to sort my contacts so as to make sure that /each/ contact is in AT LEAST one category. is there a way to SORT BY UNCATEGORIZED or how would I make sure to do this?

How can I sort content into a-z of album titles

Hi Everyone
Hope someone out there can help. I run two libraries on one pc at home, in library one I have the album icon view and I click on "Album" at the top and my albums are organised a to z by album title. However in library two, I cannot get itunes to do this, I have the same album icon view i click on "Album" on the top bar and it organises my albums a-z by artists name. I cannot see what I am doing wrong in library two. Any advise will be most welcome.

First, we need to know if the audiobook chapters are being treated by iTunes as music files or as audiobooks. If they are not audiobooks purchased from the iTunes store, they might be getting "shuffled". You will need to look at "File" - "Properties" (I think - I don't use iTunes under Windows - or right-click on the file and choose "properties") and look at the media type. If it is "Music", change it to "Audiobook". If this is not the problem, or does not fix anything, please post back.
Actually, looking at your post again, a second thought occurs to me - assuming there are less than 100 chapters in the book, just renaming them with a leading zero on the first nine chapters might do it. A computer will alphabetically sort filenames in the order you quote (1, 10, 11, 12, 13, ... 2, 21, etc.) but a leading zero will fix that (01, 02, 03 ... 10, 11, 12)

I don't think that function is possible with IOS. The only thing I see is you can put the company that the contact is with for clients.

Copy the words to the Mac's clipboard (Edit menu> Copy)
Paste into TextEdit
Next open the Edit > Find > Find window in Text Edit.
Highlight a space between two words and Edit menu > copy, paste into the Find field
Next create a return in the middle of your text and copy that and paste into the Replace field
Click Replace All.
Now Edit > Select All and Edit > Copy
Open a Spreadsheet program with Sort ability and paste into the second column cell from the top
place a "a" into the top column cell, select the entire colum
