How do I stop a mask from disappearing mid clip? I want it to stay still till the end but I can't figure out how or why it keeps going away.

I have a shot where a man turns to the camera while 3 people stand in the background out of focus. Behind them is a large window that looks out onto a bunch of junk lying around. Because green screening was impossible the window was supposed to be masked out and a space background added in. I did this, but found that after about 16 frames all of the mask just disappears. Is there any way to keep a mask permanently locked into its shape throughout its entire clip?

There was a lot of info when I opened up the layers, so there are a ton of screenshots.
