I Have just bought a IPAD MINI 3 . I got the store to do start up when purchased.i had a iPad 2 more than a year ago, so I do know some things. When the services opened after a couple of hours of being home. I received all my mail that I ever sent, received or deleted.
i Did go through and deleted all these again . And after a few hours the many hundreds of info was back again. HELP. I WILL NEED .PRECISE INSTRUCTIONS AS I AM NOT THAT GOOD AT THIS.did not have this problem with other tablet or with my iPhone 4s,that I also use now

Turn Messages off. Settings>Messages>iMessage>Off.

How do I stop "delete once and it deletes everywhere" ?

I have just discovered that all emails deleted on my Iphone are deleted on my Mac Pro.
This is a pain - I received an email, seen first on my Iphone. The large attachments were beyond what I could look at - so I left it until I was on the Mac Pro.
Saw them on the mac pro. To keep the iphone tidy, deleted the email on that.
All gone from the Mac Pro.
How do I keep the emails on the mac pro without filling the iphone up with junk I don't need to carry on it?

You don't need to do that. The iPhone doesn't actually store all your email - it is stored on the server. The phone just caches (makes a temporary copy of) the most recent ones on the handset for quick access and for when you don't have an internet connection.
When you delete a message on the iPhone, you are actually deleting it from the server. That is the way modern IMAP email accounts are designed to work for access from multiple devices.

I have exactly the same problem on a 3-week old 3GS. Started yesterday after 3 weeks of trouble free use. Have tried everything suggested in this forum but problem still exists - can't delete old email, can't read new e-mail, resorts back to main screen after about 10 seconds showing all mail still there (even if I do manage to delete a couple before it crashes) and no "Sent" or "Trash" boxes anymore.
I too have the new 3.1 software AND was OK until I had MailDaemon return an incorrectly addressed e-mail!
Off to Apple Store today to seek help from a "Genius"...........watch this space................

Thank you for taking the time to look at my app. This is my last major stumbling block that I have to resolve for this and other forms in the app.
Actually, I did use the Form Wizard for Auto DML to originally create the form. It was great. It created most of the Buttons, Items and Validations automatically (basically most of the page). I just needed to create some Processes and Computations. Two of which were the Processes to update the 'create_dt' and 'created_by' fields and 'update_dt' and 'updated_by' fields. The Create process updates the fields just fine.
However, my problem seems to be that the Hidden 'create_dt' and 'created_by' fields aren't picking up the values from a record that is being editted. Then when I attempt to save the record those fields are NULL, causing the DB NOT NULL constraint to throw an exception for those fields. In the back of my mind I seem to remember seeing some post stating something to the effect that the information in fields with a Source Type of Database Column is just displayed and does not affect Session State items.
Even with that, I am still wondering just why the 'created_by' Page Item shows the value that is in the DB record being updated, but the 'create_dt" does not (as can be seen in my first posting). It is the 'create_dt' Page Item (:P205_CREATE_DT) not having the DB records 'create_dt' info in it that appears to be the problem.

In your Mac, go to the FaceTime or Messages app > Preferences > disable your phone number there
In your iPhone go to Settings > Messages > Text Message Forwarding and disable allowed devices

We do have contacts and music etc shared.

If your are recieving mixed information on your phone on multiple devices this is going to be related to iMessage.
On your phone navagate to settings > messages > send and receive.
Check the information in that section make sure it relates to your AppleID and your phone. If you share a AppleID with the individual create a new AppleID for their device and insert that information.
If the numbers don't remove turn of iMessage restart your phone and turn it back it.
If all else fails disable iMessage otherwise turning it off is the quickest fix.

I am so upset. Please read my messages from my postings. This has nothing to do with SIM Card, Hard Reset, Apps, Google Gmail Account, nothing. I have gone thru all of this and NOTHING has fixed this. I went to the store today and spoke to the manager on duty. He said he had to try and duplicate the problem before he could help me. I showed him "screen captures" I did, told him it's out here on the board, etc. etc. Needless to say I ended up coming home with the same phone, "he" erased the phone and started over again. Well guess what, it's not a error with "MY" Gmail account being corrupted because if that is the case Mrs. Hayden14 has a bad Gmail account too. If you guessed it, the phone just crashed again! I was able this time to capture a report with ALL the history in it and saved screen captures to PROVE to him this is not a joke. Even the report says "Crash". This time it was something else I don't even or ever have used. I have also wasted over a day , yes a full work day on this without question.
I have had to get the run around for the last day. This is totally ridiculous, including them putting me on hold for 55 min. Oh, that's another funny story. Anyways, tomorrow morning I am going to the Verizon store one last and final time and I hope they decided to do the right thing and give me a phone that does not crash and works. It would be handy at work for me, especially where I work at. I hope hope hope someone listens to and helps me. I would love for them to see me walk in, take my phone and say to me were going to get you another phone, hand it to me, see if it works and prove it's the device. I don't hear anyone having this issue on other phone types so sounds like its the phone type.
I have had 3 phones now in the matter of 2 weeks. I am sure the FedEx charges will add up to a cost of a new phone at some point and start to outbalance your requirement to give me the same phone when it has the same problem.

If you have set up photo stream, this can't be done. As soon as you switch off photo stream on her device to keep your photos from coming to her device, you won't get any as well from her. Same for messages, you can't have both, sorry.
Maybe look into the family sharing feature if you want the photos to be shared:

With new ios6 all my devices are linked message and email wise how do i seperate them?

I upgraded my iPad, and both my and my wife's phone today with the new iOS6.
Now we all are recieving eachothers messages and emails! I want all the devices seperate like they used to be in iOS5. Can I turn this linking off? I susspect it was in the initial setup after install that I linked all these devices.

I had the same issue. With my son and my phones. We both updated to ios6 and were receiving each others text messages. We are on the same apple ID account. To correct this, I went into settings on my phone and disabled iMessage. Also, he was able to set up a separate iCloud account while still being under our shared apple ID account. This should prevent shared messages and shared contacts as well. Just a couple of ideas. Hope it helps.
