starting today when I clicked on firefox on my mac, there are blue stars constantly coming out of the firefox symbol and they are annoying and driving me crazy. How do I stop the constant stars coming from the firefox symbol? please help
You can use these steps to disable the snippets on the about:home page:
* Set the <b>browser.aboutHomeSnippets.updateUrl</b> pref to an empty string on the <b>about:config</b> page
* Open about:home page in a tab
* Open Web Console in this tab (Firefox menu button or Tools > Developer)
* Run this command via the command prompt: <b>gSnippetsMap.clear()</b>
* Close the tab with the about:home page
* Close and restart Firefox

If the keyboard is split and covering your text, Pull the two ends of the keyboard together - into the middle of the screen. You can also tap and hold down on the little keyboard icon in the lower right corner of the keyboard and select - Dock and Merge.
If the keyboard is up on the middle of the screen, but not split, and you want to move it back to the bottom - tap and hold down on the little keyboard and icon and select - Dock
You can turn the split keyboard off in Settings>General>Keyboard>Split Keyboard>Off.
if none of those are the issue, reset your iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears on the screen. -

The Touch Copy third party software for PC's is the way to go it seems and although the demo is free, if you have over 100 songs then it costs £15 to buy the software which seems not a lot to pay for peace of mind. and restoring your iTunes library back to how it was.

When I open Firefox, the homepage I set opens...as does the Mozillza Firefox home page which opens in a separate tab. It is an extra tab I DON'T want. How do Is stop it?
The instructions are clear and easy to understand, however, it doesn't always work.
I set my home page to www.google.com (only one tab opened up), clicked OK to save google as my home/start page.
I closed all browsers, started FF and it worked.
However, the next time I started FF it came back with the hooray, your ff is up to date.
I also set my home page to my internal work site URL, same problem.
I'm using version 23.0
I also tried going to google, and dragging the icon at the beginning of the URL to my home page icon. Still doesn't work.

As long as you can't get a hold of the device, you can't do anything more than talking to your daughter about it.
Erasing the device could also be an option to keep her from using apps you don't want her to have on her device.

It stores Event and Projects by it self.
To get Your movie out - then use Share on top Menu list.
If You want a DVD then - I don't use Share to iDVD - but Share to Media Browser
and the big and large size. Then in iDVD open it's Media Browser and use the movie here.

That means that it's gone into recovery mode - connect the iPad to your computer's iTunes and reset it back to factory defaults.
Downgrading the iOS version isn't supported by Apple. -
