How do I turn off my pop-up blocker I can't find the tools icon

I can't find the tools icon I have shockwave and Java plugin 1.6.0

Click Firefox button > Options > Options > Content tab.

Type about:config in the Location (address) bar and filter for dom.disable_open_during_load and set it to false.
to enable it again. set dom.disable_open_during_load and set it to true.

How turn off IE Pop up blocker on local testing

Is there a way to turn off IE Pop up blocker on local
testing? I tried to turn it off and allow the URL but since it
reside on my local machine it won't let me. Its really annoying
having to click and allow each time I test my page in the browser.
I set all the active X to enable and still won't fix it.

I think that's all there is to it (assuming you're in IE6).
Did you do the
following:
Tools > Options > Advanced (tab) > Scroll down to
Security > Check to Allow
active content to run in files on My Computer.
If so, I apologise but I thought just in case...

After this frustrating event, just wanted to let others know how I solved it. After fully deleting iTunes 8 - still no success. Finally went to the Apple store in Perth WA. Using their in store wireless, it downloaded fully. I use wireless 3 and obviuosly the signal is not strong enough. The Apple store is one amzing experience - worth the frustration with getting iTunes 10 downloaded. Will have to take another visit to the store as my upgrades keep falling over.

My husband purchased desk top Mac, and without importing anything via USB cord, it automatically is picking up my itunes library. He closed out, and signed in with his user id and password, and it still will only pick up mine. You either have an incredibly complex computer setup or I think you are confusing terminology here. If you have iTunes set to share your library with others in your iTunes preferences then other computers in the area will see it as an item when they are running their iTunes and have it set to check for shared libraries. Your husband is probably seeing this when running iTunes on his computer. You can disable this sharing on your computer and/or he can set his not to pick up shared libraries.
By the way, an iTunes account is something you log into when you want to buy something from Apple. On your computer it is simply your iTunes collection or your iTunes application. So you need to turn off sharing in your iTunes application preferences.
Your husband is seeing "his" iTunes collection when running iTunes, but it is possible he doesn't have anything in it if it is a brand new computer.

Yes , like Rajitha said , the reminder comes from organizer. Unless the organizer uncheck Reminder in OWA or Outlook (File—Calendar—uncheck Default Reminder/change the reminder value to None

But if we do like this, all the user who be invited will lost the reminder.
We can dismiss the reminder, or single click an meeting in Calendar and then change the reminder value to “None” for single meeting
as workaround.

How do I turn off launching CaptureOnTouch when placing an ID card in the ImageFormula P-215 scanner

My company currently uses the P-215 to scan documents and ID cards into our application using a TWAIN scanning interface. Some of our customers also use the CaptureOnTouch software for other purposes.
The issue is that every time a user loads an ID card into the scanner ID slot, the CaptureOnTouch software opens over the top of our scanning interface. This does not occur when loading paper documents into the full page portion of the scanner.
How can I get around this? It appears there is no way to bypass the ID card opening CaptureOnTouch.

Based on the description of what is occurring, it is possible that the small black Auto-switch on the back of the scanner is set to "On".
Try looking at the back of your ImageFormula P-215. When looking straight at the back of the scanner you will see a small switch to the left of a port. Follow by moving the switch to "Off"; then proceed to perform the same steps as before using an ID Card to determine if the issue has been resolved or the CaptureOnTouch software opens over the top of your scanning interface again.
