How do I uninstall or remove the trial Aperture 3 software?
I installed the trial version of Aperture 3 but don't want it. How do I properly uninstall it?
Drag the application to the trash.
Delete the following folders and files:
~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.Aperture.plist
~/Library/Caches/Aperture
~/Library/Application Support/Aperture
/Library/Application Support/ProApps/Aperture System ID
~/ is your Home folder.

On a Mac, and I have no reason to believe it being different on Windows, there is a moment in the procedure that lets you decide where to install it. Default is the standard application folder so if you missed this option for choice it will be installed there.

Maybe the Windows guys will have a better idea but if you decide to use another drive to me the safest option would be an official uninstall and download the lot again. I don't know how it works on the PC but there are a lot of different components installed to various locations, moving the application folder to another folder is one thing, to another drive is maybe one step to far for consistent correct behavior of these pretty complicated applications. -

This is a screen shot from the pull down you'd get if you right clicked on the image in Lightroom 5. I'd like to uninstall all of those listed except the Exposure apps.
Okay - but after that..
I followed the instruction in the tutorial and did the following:
Click Import (Existing Files)
Select source - (pictures appear in grid)
include sub-folders if appropriate
Select “add”
File Handling - Changed build preview to standard
Apply During Import - Nothing added
Add keywords - Added keywords
Import (Tutorial says to click “Import” but import is greyed out and not available)
What am I missing? The destination information does not appear. I tried selecting that before I clicked "Import" but that didn't help.. -

I had a trial version of Pages for 30 days and then purchased the actual software without removing the trial. Now when I try to edit documents and save them it sometimes wont because it tells me I am using a trial version.... But sometimes it lets me!! How can I remove the trial version? Run it then reinstall the purchased software.

Please excuse if you know this already....
If you have the tryout version of Premiere Elements (any version) and you export with the Adobe watermark, you cannot remove the Adobe watermark from that export, even after purchase of the program.
As you found out, you can remove the Adobe watermark from the tryout project file (project.prel) after purchase. The classic way (as you have indicated worked for you) is the deletion of the project.prel's rendered files (preview files) in the purchased program. Some, like myself, have found removal of the watermark placed in the project.prel of the tryout could be achieved just importing the project.prel with its watermark into the purchased version (no rendered file deletion by the user).
Nonetheless, glad to learn that you are moving forward in your Premiere Elements projects. Wishing you many great projects.

After downloading latest Reader software (11) on my Mac (OS10.7.5) I cannot print pdf files on either of my two printers. I suspect corrupt software. How do I uninstall and reinstall the software? Adobe's on-line instructions are only for Window devices.
You can just drag the file to the trash. If you want you can remove the pdf plug-in from the internet-plug in folder, but that should not be necessary to correct your problem.

I am trying to use the trial creative cloud software on a PC windows 8.1 - I've downloaded and removed Photoshop CC 2014 two times - every time I open the file it says there is a problem and it shuts down and closes. I can open indesign and maybe other apps but photoshop no. Any ideas?

Soo - as mentioned every time I open photoshop it crashes - it just says there's an error and the program will shut down and if there's a solution windows will notify me. Then nothing...
I've tried to look in photoshop files for the detailed crash report & the system event viewer but cannot find a file with those names. I've also looked in the windows files for files with those names but cannot find them either - so I don't know where to look.

Having removed the hard drive I'm finding I can't reformat it. I manage to mount the HD but Disk Utility crashes when trying to format (HD attached to Mac via Newer Tech. SATA cables to USB) and causes what I think is a kernal panic on my Mac which hard crashes. I see 3 partitions when attempting to mount one of which is AFP. Anyone got any ideas about how to do this? I've dug around but the only progress I've made is to note others have had to work around ACL's when replacing the logic board of the TC. Not sure if this even relates to the problem. However the tool for doing this seems to have been removed from SL. (Forum references to this procedure all relate to 10.5). -

If you are purchasing from the Mac App store, then you would drag the trial version to the trash first and empty trash (since the trial version has expired).
Launch the Mac App store > sign in with your Apple ID > purchase Aperture (this is cheaper than the previous retail version many of us purchased anyway).
Note - you can rename your Aperture Trial library as needed if you want to work with that one once the full version is installed. -

Since 2012 I have Photoshop Elements always worked without any problem, however now the language is suddenly German how can this be changed, removed the program and re-installed, not working. Program is downloaded and updated via the apple app store?
I've done some research on the SQLite database. Whenever Aperture hangs up (like during auto-stack or opening the filter hud) there are thousands of SQLite queries happening. These SQLite queries cause massive file I/O because the database is stored on the disk as 1kb pages. However, the OS is caching the database file; mine's only 12MB. I'm trying to track down some performance numbers for SQLite on osx but having trouble.
It's starting to look like most of the speed problems are in the libraries that Aperture uses instead of the actual Aperture code. Of course, that doesn't completely let the developers off the hook since they choose to use them in the first place.
Oh, and if anyone is curious, the database is completely open to queries using the command line sqlite3 tool. Here's the language reference http://www.sqlite.org/lang.html

By voiding your warranty and hacking it. There may be other fixes though. Try resetting network settings in settings>general>reset. If that doesn't work try a hard reset. If that doesn't work then backup, restore as new, then from backup
