How do I upgrade FCPX to an older version

The lastest downgrade of FCPX has totally ruined the synchhronization of mullticam clips. Is there any way to get the older version back?

I'm not sure that NO is the complete answer; recently for the Ironman event in Kona, in order to be on the ISIS SAN we had to be on Lion and MC6 (instead of MC6.5) - Lion is no longer for sale at Apple, however we were able to call Apple and purchase it through a series of support calls, etc.
Maybe you can call Apple Support and arrange to reinstall the prior version of FCPX. It's worth a try. Sart by phoning up (800) 275-2273

What versions are involved? You'll have to export to Interchange format,but whethr you can do it only once, or if yo have to open and re-xport in all intervening versions depends on waht both of you are using.
This is not a great workflow for collaboration, expecially if you use any advanced features in your version that are not supported in theirs. Those will be lost entirely. There is a significant risk of text reflowing and changing line endings, too.

Another reason I loved using this computer was autofill, now that does not work the same either, I have to respond twice to get my info to fill in. I fill out many forms in a day and this change has been so bad that I have downloaded Mozilla Firefox to use instead. I hope apple fixes these issues but until then how do I revert back to an older version of Safari?

Quit Safari.
Open Keychain Access /Applications/Utilities
Select Passwords on the left. Delete any keychains for sites you have problems logging into.
Relaunch Safari. Go to Safari / Preferences - Autofill. Make sure all three boxes are selected.
Now navigate to a site, login with your user name and password. You should be prompted to save that data to a new keychain. Click Yes.
If you still have problems, go to ~/Library/Cookies. Move the Cookies.plist file to the Trash.
~ (Tilde) represents your Home folder.
Try logging into a site again.

I have 5.8 on iMac, but it is not server version, it is a usual OS install. I would say, that the only thing there worth upgrading is adding more memory. You should also keep upgrading Firefox, OpenOffice etc. for comfortable work and avoid memory and resource-hungry or buggy applications (like Safari). I have recently used iMovie to work with video, and I never had problems with image editing there. I can compare to 6.8 on my MacBook - I cannot say there is something I missing on this iMac 5.8 which is present on 6.8.
In general, I am an old mac user, and I had experiences where OS upgrade speed up things, like going from 10.2 to 10.3, but I still recommend to make sure that you will get rid of the bugs while keeping functionality - notoriouse examples are Photoshop 7 that stopped working on new systems, Gimpshop (and underling gimp 2, though some cured it) and even some Finder features.

If your Macbook has an Intel processor, you can first upgrade to 10.6 (Snow Leopard).
You need to purchase that from the Apple retail Store:

If you are not in the US, use the flag button at the bottom of the page to change to your country's store.
Depending on they type of Intel macbook it is, you may be able to upgrade further to Lion or Mountain Lion.
Open About this Mac from the Apple menu.
Then, click on More Info.
Select the Hardware heading and llok at the Model Identifier.
I can't remember if it was called that or if that OS had a hardware section, but you are looking for something like macbook5,1
If that first number is less than a 5, you can't go any further than Lion. Unless there is something in Lion you need, I would stick with Snow Leopard.
If the first number is a 5 or greater, you can upgrade to Mountain Lion. Once you have installed 10.6 and updated it to 10.6.8, you can purchase and install Mountain Lion from the Mac App Store (which is available in the Apple menu of OS X 10.6.8 or later).
However, if you want to go beyond Snow Leopard, make sure you purchase enough RAM to have at least 4GB. Any less than that would not be pleasant.
Additionally, Mavericks, 10.9, is due to be released this fall. You may want to wait until then and just upgrade to that instead of Mountain Lion (10.8). Either way, you will need to purchase and install 10.6 from DVD. You need to keep that disk if you ever need to reinstall the OS.

First, open the Mac App Store and try to purchase Keynote. Some users said it allows you to download the latest Keynote version compatible with Mountain Lion.
If it doesn't work, purchase iWork '09 in a DVD at Amazon, and install it. Then, open  > Software Update, and install the most recent iWork version, or install it from the Apple site > http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1563

I am taking a University course online and it requires that I watch videos online. When I try to watch the videos they don't play and when I emailed the school about it they told me I need to download an older version of QuickTime. I currently have the most updated version of QT and when I try to put it in the trash it says that I can't delete QuickTime. I went to the apple support site and there are options for downloading different versions of QT but when I try to download them the computer tells me I can't because I have the most updated version and my computer does not support the older versions. There is the URL for the website that I am trying to use. I needed to sign in to my course website in order to access this page though so it may not allow you to view it. The website is called "Mastering Management" and the any of the introductory videos on the web page are the ones that I am trying to view. When I check the FAQ's on the website they said that I need QuickTime to watch the videos but I have the most upgraded version of QuickTime and that is the problem.

You can get closer to the old look with ctrl-b to turn on the menu bar and ctrl-s to turn on the sidebar, then select Artists from the selection of views across the top.
If you still want to roll back to iTunes 10.7 first download a copy of the installer fromhere, uninstall iTunes and suppporting software, i.e. Apple Application Support & Apple Mobile Device Support. Reboot. Restore the pre-upgrade version of your library database as per the diagram below, then install iTunes 10.7.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to scan the media folder and catch up with any changes made since the backup file was created.
