Being a new convert to Mac I was used to using right-click to access the "What's Here?" function in Google Maps on my old Windows PC. How do I use it on the Mac?

Hi,
it looks as if you are creating a new page to hold your javascript.
the javascript must be on the same page as the form for the code to work.
put the PL/SQL to generate the javascript code into the "after generating the form" section in the portal form.

Hi Niels,
As I'm sure you know, the conundrum is that Reports doesn't know how many total pages there will be in the report until it is all done formatting, which is too late for your needs. So, one classical solution to this problem is to run the report twice, storing the total number of pages in the database using a format trigger, and throwing away the output from the first run when you don't know the total number of pages.
Alternatively, you could define a report layout so that the number of pages in the output is completely predictable based upon, say, the number of rows in the main query. E.g., set a limit of one, two, ... rows per page, and then you'll know how many pages there will be simply because you can count the rows in a separate query.

You mention Forms Developer - check out the built-in Forms functions SELECT_ALL, COPY_REGION, CUT_REGION and PASTE_REGION for the kind of functionality you're describing.
These functions would allow you, for example on the push of a button in the form, to select the contents of a text item and copy it to the clipboard for pasting into another program such as MS Word.

You cannot. The iPhone is locked to Softbank, and only they can unlock it. Problem is that Softbank will NOT unlock the phone, as they do not offer iPhone unlocking.
Buy an iPhone in the Phillipines.
PS Before you go on a rant at Apple, be aware that Apple does NOT unlock phones and they do not set unlocking policies. The carriers (Softbank in this case) set the unlocking policy.

How do you use the bluetooth VIs with a Microsoft Bluetooth Driver?

How do you use the LabVIEW Bluetooth VIs with the Microsoft Bluetooth driver? I have been trying with no such luck.
   I want to use 2 computers to talk to each other using the bluetooth VIs.  Eventually, I think we would like a PDA/phone to talk to a custom built electronics board with Bluetooth. But for now, I would just like 2 computers to talk and then eventually talk to our own device.
One is a desktop w/ the Belkin F8T012 USB adapter. It installs fine with the Belkin driver (but I know I need to use the Microsoft Driver in order to use the LabVIEW VIs, but I have tried to get Windows to install its own but it says it is a BCM92045DG-Flash. It says it cannot install it because it cannot find the necessary hardware. I thought this USB adapter was on the approved Bluetooth devices list? What else should I try? Another Bluetooth USB adapter?
The other computer is a Dell Latitude 820. It has a built in Bluetooth module which I believe is the Dell 350 Bluetooth Module. On this machine I have been able to setup a COM port with a bluetooth device (blood glucose meter). It came with a serial port interface which we modifed to go through a bluetooth interface. It comes up as COM40. We have been able to communicate to it using their program originally designed to talk through a serial port. But we would like to use the Bluetooth VIs in LabVIEW. I can't even use the Discover VI.  Perhaps it is not using the Microsoft Driver as well. Do I just uninstall the driver and then try to have Windows install its own driver? Do you have any other recommendations?

Hi Javi,
This sounds like an issue with Windows and your specific Bluetooth devices. As you mentioned, the LV Bluetooth VI's do require that the devices use the Windows drivers. Take a look at this link for specific requirements for using Bluetooth with LabVIEW. Also, you can take a look at our Developer Zone tutorial on designing Bluetooth applications a found here. Regarding your device drivers, sometimes it is as easy as uninstalling the driver and then letting Windows discover the device and fine its own driver. I got rid of AMDS, ASU ,QuickTime and iTunes from control ones I also found folder in Vista with D:\Users\Rick\Music\iTunes\Previous iTunes Library and there is one dated 2009-03012.itl. I moved this file up one folder and delted existing iTunes Library.itl. iTune still failed to identify my iPhone. There are other files iTunes Library Extras.itdb, iTunes Library Geniyes,itdn and iTunes Music Library,xml date dtd 06/18/2009 after upgrade except the latter which is date 06/23/2009. So something is not allowing me to pull or put everything back to when it worked.
YES this is my only iPhone and only PC I have access to with iTunes.

I checked these out too and they appear the same printed out nearly a week prior. I agree with Coach TO, if I had bad drivers or Vista errors it would not have shown up only when I updated to latest Version of 8.2.023. My Phone was identified on a PC with iTunes at the local AT&T store. He suggested I get phone into Recovery made while connected to iTunes and that resolves the problem 9 out of 10 time. Weak spot was he tried to get phone into Recovery without iTunes connection and thought I may have iPhone problem, then changed his mind when it worked while connected. He also stated it could take an hour. I have not tried to put my iPhone in Recovery lately, I think I did a while back and it failed to go into Recovery as error "iPhone detected by, not identified..."Has anyone tried forcing phone into Recovery? I understand you may lose all that is on phone. If iTunes still fails to identify would we not be in worse shape even if iTunes holds a recent backup which it does not for many of us? Will Apple take back or exchange phone if yours is not identitifed, AT&T today told me I had to go to Apple Store for this or anything to happen.

Not sure what your real question here is, but I'll take a stab at it.
The NI-CAN drivers (module) only work with the NI CAN cards. If you have a different vendors card, you'll have to contact them to see if they have LabVIEW drivers.
If you do have a NI CAN card, then you just need to install the NI-CAN drivers and you're ready to go. Have a look at the examples for help in getting going.
If you're having a specific problem, please give us some more details and we may be able to help out a bit more.

There are two types of sustain pedal... One's with + polarity and ones with - polarity
The sustain pedal you are using, has the oppostie polarity from the standard.. which means when you press it it acts as if it is not pressed and vice versa...
Unfortunately, unlike a lot of keyboards... the Launchkey doesn't provide a setting that allows you to correct this issue... which means that unless the pedal you are using has a built in polarity switch...(In which case power down your keyboard, unplug the pedal and select the opposite setting to what is set now and then plug it back in and power up your keyboard) your sustain pedal is the wrong type and is not compatible with the Launchkey....
Failing that, here is an example of a sustain pedal that has a polarity switch so you can use it with any keyboard....

I have shot some products for my web site. I need completely white backgrounds. I have tried to mask the product and lighten the whites, but when I click done, my product has turned very green.
Why? How do you use the brush? Also, where is the invert to make this easier on me?
Kind of urgent, I need to get these items on my site already.

Have you tried without the adjustment brush, by simply adjusting white balance from the basic tab in develop?
Click on the eye dropper tool and then click on a neutral gray color. Use the background if it is neutral rather than white. You may need to keep selecting the eye dropper to click in a few different places for best results.
If you decide to use the adjustment brush you can show or hide the mask. Uncheck the mask when you have finished painting; then use the sliders, starting with tint and temperature.
