How do reactivate my iTunes account

I have a desktop computer running Windows XP with my current iTunes account. I am going to wipe the hard drive clean or replace the hard drive and install a fresh Windows XP.  Afterwards, I want to put my current iTunes account (including purchases, library, etc.) on the same desktop computer. Are there any steps I should take before and/or after cleaning/replacing the hard drive and installing Windows XP again?

You should backup your itunes library.

  • How to remove an iTunes account?

I was recently given an iMac 2011 for christmas, on first boot up i entered my iTunes details sucessfully and finnished setup. Before doing anything on the iMac I updated the software, however when it finnished the app store said that there was an app update, when I tried to download it said that it was only available for another itunes account "[email protected]". The problem i have is that i cannot download the update unless i sign in to that account, i dont know who this is and wish to remove it from my iMac but dont know how. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hello! scottocs
Me to have the exact same problem, I can not solve the problem.
    To solve the problem:
    1. Download the twitter app from the App Store,
    2. Right click (control click) the app and click show package contents,
    3. Open contents,
    4. Copy the folder that says '_MASReceipt'
    5. Paste that folder in the same location in the app you downloaded off of the Internet, replacing the original one,
    6. You might need to restart the App Store or your computer for the change to take affect,
Please tell me how to remove this iTunes account?

Most of the 24 inch LCD have multiple video inputs, which means you can get connect two different video source (i.e. desktop, laptop) to the same display, and then switch between with only a few button presses.

  • How do i sync Itune accounts with out loosing all of my music on one account

I am a new Itunes account user and would like to sync with my mothers account because that is where all of my music is but i do not know how to sync two seperate accounts to do so. If you know how or have anny other way of helping please do so. Thank you

If it is purchased music, it will stay with her account.  Purchased from the iTunes store.  If the music is from stuff you or she ripped (imported from) cd's, that can be synced to your phone using iTunes.

You can't rent movies from netflix.
It's a subscription service that offers DVDs through Mail or streaming over the internet.
It is not affiliated with iTunes or Apple and requires a seperate account.

  • How to move an iTunes account

My situation is that I have several users with their own accounts, each with their own iTunes account and their own iOS devices, on my OS10.6.8 iMac.
I would like to move the iTunes accounts and contents to new user accounts on the same computer, and I'm looking for the best way.
As a result of various issues and general bugginess, I've realised I need to do a clean install of 10.6. Some of the issues I'm trying to get rid of are system level, others are account specific.
The two oldest accounts (started in 10.4) can no longer access MAC help, sometimes the DOCK process goes crazy and uses up all available CPU and RAM, and mobile me has come to a grinding halt. Not to mention kernel panics, and system events which log 1000's of error messages per second because some process has too many filkes open, and some process I can't track down which tries to spawn itself several times a second.  @!!$#^!.
I've checked and don't think any of this is caused by iTunes.
I have everything backed up 3+ times: Time Machine, a bootable disk image, some dmg's of the user accounts, and a SuperDooper disk image. I have all the install disks and licence keys.
What I would like some advice and comment on is: how do I move the iTunes accounts and content from the old users accounts on this "version" of the system to new users accounts in the  next version of the System?
I could use migration assistant and import the previous user files into the new accounts, but I don't want to import ALL the user settings. But if I do that, will the purchased music files be useable in the new account, and will syncing with the existing IOS devices still work?
I could use migration assistant to set up the old accounts on the new system, authorise both accounts with he same iTunes account, and copy the user files over. Then kdeleauthorise and delete the old account. Same questions as above. Sounds less risky this way.
    Is there a better way?
    Thanks!
( Once I get this the system clean and stable with 10.6.8, I plan to migrate to iCloud and Lion. But I really don't want to migrate first, and then try to fix issue in an OS I am just learning )

Were you saying that you have two user accounts (one one the old Mac and one on the new Mac) or two Apple IDs with your music?
Read the original post. The user used Migration Assistant to copy files from an old computer to a new one. This creates a new computer account with the old content. The user then had two accounts on the new computer with content the user wished to merge.

  • How to cancel an itunes account

I have an itunes account which my son also uses for his iphone, I have now purchased an ipad Air and it has caused all sorts of problems with his contacts coming onto my devices and vica versa. We need two seperate accounts, how can I remove my son from my existing account?

Ah ha! After playing around with the Account Profile page for about an hour, I finally tried simply erasing the credit card account number field on that form, selected the "Where will you primarily use the product you are purchasing?" field and turned off the "Stay in touch!" checkbox, then clicked "Continue" and voila! Now I hope that apple really has deleted my cc account info....oh well, guess I just need to keep checking my cc statements real closely every month for the rest of my life...
Well, this certainly has been an eye-opening experience. I would have expected this kind of stuff from "the evil empire" (won't mention any names but it starts with "M" and ends with "oft") but not from an organically grown, eco-friendly company like apple who owes its origins to the hippie generation. Oh well, another one of life's great disappointments :'(
