How do we populate the SIGN_POST table for routing server

Hi,
How do we populate the SIGN_POST table for routing server? We having the Street data network... we have populated the NODE, EDGE and PARTITION tables from street data. Is there any procedure available for populating the SIGN_POST table from street data? ARE there any predefined methods available?

This data has to come from the data provider.
There are no procedures to populate this information, if this
data is not available for your data set.
For example, NAVSTREETS from NAVTEQ has this data as part
of their street network data.

The Third Party JDBC Drivers pane specifies drivers to be used for connections to third-party (non-Oracle) databases, such as IBM DB2, MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Sybase Adaptive Server. (You do not need to add a driver for connections to Microsoft Access databases.) To add a driver, click Add Entry and select the path for the driver:
For Microsoft SQL Server or Sybase Adaptive Server: jtds-1.2.jar, which is included in the jtds-1.2-dist.zip download
To find a specific third-party JDBC driver, see the appropriate website (for example, http://www.mysql.com for the MySQL Connector/J JDBC driver for MySQL, http://jtds.sourceforge.net/ for the jTDS driver for Microsoft SQL Server and Sybase Adaptive Server, or search at http://www.teradata.com/ for the JDBC driver for Teradata). Adjusting the SID table for master data infoobject

Im trying to activate one master data infoobject. But it says the error like below
<b>The SID Table /BI0/SBBP_DELREF must be converted incompatibly with an activation of characteristic 0BBP_DELREF (changes to the key in the table). Table /BI0/SBBP_DELREF contains data. Parts of this data were lost in the conversion</b>.
or
<b>Undo the changes that led to the incompatible conversion (the changes in the key) or delete all data from table /BI0/SBBP_DELREF.</b>
So how can i adjust the SID table for this .

Hi,
you'll have to delete ALL the master data for this IObj. Therfore you'll have to
delete all data in ALL the IObjs using 0BBP_DELREF (ODS, CUbes and characteristics).
Then activate your IObj. You will go through some step which I explained in the
following thread

1. Delete 0COMP_CODE master data.
- get objects list using 0COMP_CODE with loaded data: I suggest to delete
master data via AWB (right click the characteristic). If it can't be deleted because
it is used display the deletion log (via AWB or tx SLG1 / RSDMD, MD_DEL).
- delete loaded data for the list above.
This should not be too much since you are in DEV.
2. change 0COMP_CODE length
- change the length to 4;
*- Activate your IObj. You'll get a popup log, validate. Activate despite warning and
errors. You will get An error message, validate.
You should get an horizontal pane with the activation log. Read it for your personal culture but if you don't have time then don't...
- Next the system will prompt to convert the tables: answer YES. The system will ask to schedule the table conv. in the background, go4it.
- next is the SE14 screen for the P table: Hit Activate and adjust (Direct
execution, or in the back as you wish). Answer yes to the mass processing
question and yes (again) for request adjust online. Your table should be converted successfully.
- go back twice from this screen (leaving SE14 tx and return to RSD1). reread the update log if you wish.
- repeat from the *- above... it will perform the very same for all other P tables of IObj using 0COMP_CODE and the 0COMP_CODE S table.
Your IObj is reactivated again. So should your ODS/DSO objects (check activate for example). Cube didn't need to convert tables since the MDID is note posted in any table of a cube.
Please note that once your IObj is in revised version you can perform the same via the menu extras / database table / convert all (see my previous post).
Now you have to evaluate the task. Of course that is a work to fix the mistake.
Depending on when it has be changed it may be worth to restore your DEV sys with a backup (loose work performed from the backup until now).

How to populate the main table and the lookup's at the same time

What I have with me is the XML files which contain the data from the material master and the excel sheet which talks about the mapping . it basically tells me which field of the main table maps to which field of which segment in the IDOC and also the name of the table and the field in the R3 system .
I wish to use this info to populate the data in the material repository .
- How can I populate the data in the lookup table at the same time when I am populating the main table ? I have only the XML's that correspond to the main table . I don't have seperate data for the lookup tables .
- Can I use the standard maps available for import in the business content of material repository in MDM ?
- If the answer to the second question is NO then I think i can create the maps and save them for future use .

I don't think you can populate both main table and all fields of lookup tables at the same time, i.e. using same map. You can consider 2 options to upload all information you have:
1) If your XML file contains data you would like to upload to lookup tables, you can upload it to MDM lookup tables with several maps using same XML and choosing different sections of that XML corresponding to different MDM lookup tables.
2) Also you can upload main table simultaneously with lookup table entries (using same map), but in this case new lookup table entries will only contain display field values that you mapped. To do this you should use 'Add' value mapping functionality for fields that you mapped to lookup tables.

1) In case you have material master repository delivered by SAP and you use XML files which structure corresponds to SAP predelivered XSD schemas then you can use these maps undoubtedly.
2) If your repository is based on SAP predelivered, but you changed it ,you should adjust these maps due to differences in repository structure and XML files structure.
3) If you created your repository from scratch you should consider option of making your own import maps.

The design property in Table properties should work for your requirement. Select "alternating" value for design.
Please see the API below:
design
Determines the appearance of the table. The property design can take the following values and is represented by enumeration type WDTableDesign.
alternating - The table rows are displayed alternately in a different color.
standard - The table background has one color. The individual table rows are displayed with grid net lines.
transparent - The table background is transparent. The individual table rows are displayed without grid net lines.
Check whether you have changed the right property or not? Also table should contain more than one rows to test this scenario.

How maintaining the connection table for sticky/persistent/non-persistent?

Question about how to maintain the connection table for the source(client) and destination(server) in the CSM(or CSS).
I know the sticky has the table and max size such as 128K(css11501)as per CCO but not clear how works the persistant and non-persistant case.
Q1) persistant. does it maintain the conntion table to tracking the session? then, any information the table size?
Q2) non-persistant. is this also have connection table? then, how it works?
why I'm asking is want to understand how the session keep tracking. for example, the router based on the routing table(stateless) versus PIX firewall has stateful table. As analogue, is the non-persistnet stateless and statefull for the persistent and sticky?

The CSS uses FCB to maintain information about active connections.
Each connections requires 2 FCB - one for client to vip and one for server to client.
When you boot the CSS it will immediately reserver a good amount of memory to create a list of FCB.
Each connection will then take 2 FCB from the list.
You can do a 'flow stat' from llama mode to verify how much free/used FCB you have.
When running low on FCB, the CSS will try to allocate more memory.

I have one issue regarding the spool ,we are getting the correct output as per requirement of user but when we send the same to the user in pdf format they did notget the same.
they are telling that the due date is missing from the pdf.
Please advice me how to track the internal table for the spool data converted intopdf in a readable format.
the FM used for the above task is :
call function 'CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF'

How to find the Check table for a field ?

Hello All,
        I have the filed name f1.
Now I want to know the check table of this field programatically and if this field has a configuration table then I need that table also.
eg: if werks is the field the Master         Table is : MARC
                                and Configuration Table is : T001W.
Is this possible first of all programatically ?

1. I don't know the master table for the field werks
A field is never independent. It is always linked to a table,
otherwise the information is only half.
2. So incase if we do not know the tablename,
   its best to query the table DD03L with WERKS,
and filer out CHECKTABLE with *,
and take any one record.

1) U can go to tcode sldb and give ur structure name or if u can find which logical database it is from u can get the tables of the structure....
Suppose it is of HR it may be like pnp logical database and then to sldb and give pnp and u can get all the table of that....
2)If u know which fields u want from the stucture....then go to table DD03L and give ur fields name and it iwll bring where all tables this field is avaialble and u can find them......
3) the st05 sql trace can help u.....

I have a project that I need to do, what is the best approach for each step?
1- I have to create a table in Microsoft SQL Server.
2- I have to import data/ tables from Microsoft Excel or Access to Microsoft SQL Server. Should I use Microsoft Visual Studio to move data from Excel or Access?
3-I should populate the created table with the data from the exported data.
4-How should I add the second and third imported table to the first table? Should I use union query?
After I learn these, I will bring up the code to make sure what I do is right.

I've seen some ways to possibly do this with an individual cell.
Clarification on changing the font color in an individual cell would be helpful too if
