Hi casey here what to do open ur face time on dock station then go to facetime menu top left screen then go to preferences and then u see id account,select ur prefer id account what ever you like.

Short answer: the dpi is set when you decide what size you're printing at.
Long Answer: Dpi means nothing in the digital world of your computer. There are no "inches" to have "dots per..." Size is measured in pixels. That's the same on your camera. It doesn't take 10 x 8 or 6 x 4 shots. It takes shots measured in megapixels. For instance 4,000 x 3,000 is a 12 megapixel camera.
Using that example, that shot from that camera has 12 million pixels. So that's how many "Dots" there are. To decide the ratio of dots per inch, you now need to decide the "inches" part. And that's printing. Print at 10 x 8 and the dpi will be 4,000/10 or about 400 dpi. At 6 x 4 then it's 4,000/6 or 660 dpi. Work the other way: Print at 300 dpi and the resulting image will be about 13 inches on the longer side.
So, your photo as a fixed number of pixels. Changing the dimensions of the print will vary the dpi, changing the dpi will vary the dimensions of the print.

I have forgotten my password and I don't want to wipe my hard drive how do I change the password?
I have done the following:
Rebooted selected a language, it then went right back to the installer but there was no change password as an option.
Under disk utility it was not high lighted.

First, make sure caps lock is not on.
Another reason why your password might not be recognized is that the keyboard layout (input source) has been switched without your realizing it. At the login screen, you can cycle through the available layouts by pressing the key combination command-space or command-option-space. See this support article.
You must back up all data before continuing, unless you've already done so. If you need to back up but can't log in, ask for instructions.
If the user account is associated with an Apple ID, and you know the Apple ID password, then maybe the Apple ID can be used to reset your user account password.
Otherwise*, boot into Recovery mode. When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select

from the menu bar. In the Terminal window, type this:

Press the tab key. The partial command you typed will automatically be completed to this:
resetpassword
Press return. A Reset Password window opens.

Follow the prompts to reset the password. It's safest to choose a password that includes only the characters a-z, A-Z, and 0-9.

When you create an alternate layout this modal pops up allowing you to choose a page size with width and height dimensions. After you've selected "OK" how to you get back to this modal? When you go to File > Document Settings it only shows the settings for the main layout (frist layout created). How do you get to the doucment presets for an alternate layout?

You could use the Page tool.
In the Pages panel, highlight the master page used by the alternate layout you want to change. Choose the Page tool. Enter a new page size. Because you're applying this to the master page, it will apply to all the document pages based on it.

I am an adult education teacher who needs to scan a large amout of material for my students. I scan them to the computer as pdf files. I foumd some old scans in my My Documents folder but I cannot find the ones I just scanned two minutes ago.
Is there a way I can change:
1. The default directory that scans are sent to
2. The scan prefix so they don't all say "scan" at the beginning of the file name.
Here are my specs
I use the OfficeJet 6700 Premium on Windows 7 and the printer is being used wirelessly.
I just have to say how much I love this printer! It prints faster than the 7200 I had previously and is much easier to use! The scan cover is also lighter and I can lift it up myself even with my weak arms and hands due to my splastic cerebral palsy. Thanks for making a great product!

The option in "Advanced Preferences" to say what format you want to import tracks no longer seems to be available in iTunes 8. Where is it?

I too have problems importing CDs. I get an error message that says, "Error occurred while converting the file, you do not have enough privileges". Being a very recent convert from PCs I am a relative novice I cannot find my way around this machine very well and do not know how to change the privileges. I have got as far as altering permissions in Get Info, and have done the Repair disk permissions in the Disk Utility, but to no avail. Can anyone help please, I have to rescue the situation before my wife throws the machine out the window and forces me back top the dark side!!

I have purchased a 2nd hand MacBook Pro that was using Polish as its default language. I have changed it all back to English, including 'sudo languagesetup' in utilities, however I want to reintsall the OS and when I press Command > R on startup the setup is showing in Polish still.
Can you please advise how I can change this English? I have researched extensively but still have not found answers beyond using the terminal in utilities which I have already tried,

Then you will need the original system discs that came with the system when it was new or a replacement set of them. The Replacement set can be ordered from Apple for a small fee.
That system should not been sold to you with Mt Lion, or Lion, installed on it. Those 2 version of OS X would be Tied to the original persons Apple ID that installed either of them. These versions of OS X, when purchased from the Mac App Store for older Mac computers, can not be transfered to someone else.
I don't think an Apple store will be any help. You need to reinstall the original shipping version of OS X then upgrade and update it to Snow Leopard 10.6.8 and then you can either log into the Mac App Store using your current Apple ID (Or create an Apple Id if you don't have one) and buy, download and install Mt Lion on that system.

Here is the information that you should follow when using DAQ with a Macintosh.
