An unknown error occurred (-50). Does anyone know how to fix this issue? If you do, please let me know! Thanks!
The instructions found at http://igyaan.in/2011/01/how-to-fix-mac-app-store-an-unknown-error-occurred-100- problem/ fixed my problem
Basically, logout of your Apple ID. Quit App Store. Logout of your mac, log back in. Login to Apple ID, and enjoy downloads.

have itunes vouchers and each time i click redeem , I get error "we could not complete your itunes store request, an unknown error occured 1202, try again later. I have tried this for 4 days running and get same error.
I have this same problem. It's like it is not Authorizing this Mac.
What happens when you try to listen to a preview on the Music Store?
Mine asks me to authorize again and gives me the error exactly as you said above.
What happens when you try to view your account information (in Music Store, click on your account name in the top right corner)?
Mine lets me authorize sucessfully and shows me my account information.
I have emailed iTunes support about this and they replied with a generic answer about Deauthorizing and re-authorizing the computer.
I even tried, to no avail, the tips here...

My itunes says " We could not complete your itunes store request. The network connection was reset." what do i do?
All you can do is wait. Apple should have spent the money they allocated toward making iOS all white on network infrastructure to handle the traffic flow during the upgrade rollout.

HT201611 After -42110 error -- we could not complete your iTunes Store request -- no time to view
While downloading a rental movie I got the following error:
-42110: We could not complete your iTunes Store request.
After a number of attempts over 12 hours, I finally succeeded.
However, now I must watch this rental within 10 hours.
I don't have the 30-day window to view it.
What gives? How can I extend my watch period?Hi werpg,

I can't get iTunes Radio to work. I get this error message, even when I'm signed in to iTunes:
"We could not complete your iTunes Store request. You are not authorized to access the requested resource. There was an error in the iTunes Store. Please try again later."
What the hey?
Anyone?
thanks!
PS: I'm running 10.8.5 but for some reason this website won't let me display that and keeps changing it to 10.8.2.Relaunched iTunes a few times, signed out, signed in, and it's finally working now. Good grief. But all's well.

We could not complete your iTunes store request an unknown error occured 50
Yeah. I got this message while I was trying to access the iTunes store and I had to wait about 10 minutes then I got this message. "We could not complete your iTunes store request. An unknown error occurred (-50). "
I am on a multi-user mac mini running OS X 10.5.5 with an intel core on the non-administrator account with most things enabled. I have been having this problem for a while when going from my library to the store. It can't open up the store, but it can download items to my computer from the store still. Can someone please look at this? I really need this issue resolved.I have the same problem PLUS I get the "Genius is temporarily unable to show you related music..." whenever I select a song. This occurs even when I log in as Administrator. Updating to 8.0.1 did not fix either problem.
I can access the iTunes Store and download music. Genius had no problems uploading my iTunes Library info, and it can create playlists for selected songs. I believe this rules out communications and authorization problems. I have a G4 Mac Mini, a G5 PowerPC, and an Intel iMac with the same problem, so it's unlikely to be a Mac hardware issue. A firewall problem was unlikely (since I can access the iTunes Store), but I tested this with the firewall off. Both problems still remained. Updating Genius, turning Genius off and then on again, reinstalling iTunes 8, updating to 10.5.5, etc. did not work.
The only unusual factor is that I have HughesNet satellite 'broadband.' I cannot see how that would matter, but perhaps the individual song iTunes Store and Genius features don't get along with something in my HughesNet 'modem.' Any ideas from other users? -
Hi,
I had been using iTunes version 10.7 till i started getting the error "We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occured (-1202). I tried to troubleshoot it but didnt work, therefore i upgraded to the latest iTunes version 11, and this didnt solve the problem either. Now i have reverted back to the older version of 10.7, have even restored my system to some earlier date when everything was working but issue still exists. I have noticed many people have also experienced this issue but most of them faced this with the latest version of iTunes 11. Please suggest - i am frustrated now and have almost given up.
Thanks

Last successful iTunes Store access was 2013-10-08 22:21:42.Same problem. I can see the itunes store so not a problem with windows firewall. The account is active on my iphone so i know i am not locked out. I can connect the PC to my iphone so i know itunes is working ok. It is just logging into itunes on this pc which doesn't work. Only thing I can think of is that the email address I use for my apple id has been offline for a while and is working again now, I'm wondering whether this has been the case for others who are having this issue?

I've been trying to download videos and/or podcasts from iTunes and I keep getting the above error (We could not complete your iTunes store request. An unknown error occurred (12002)).
What does this mean and how can I rsolve this problem?I am having this issue since 2 days ago too.

We could not complete your itunes store request. Error -1202. Windows 7
I can play music, sync, burn CDs, but I can not buy music OR edit any of my account details without getting this message.
We could not complete your iTunes Store request. An unknown error occurred (-1202).
I have had this problem for a year now. I download and upgrade to each new version of iTunes has this same problem. (Currently I have version 11).
Apple Support's response to my email quick, but really pretty lame. They just told me to browse these support forums.
I have tried all the many suggestions. NOTHING works.
There must be some way to fix this? So many users are having this problem.
I am on Windows 7 - 64 bit.
HELP!!!
Please.I'm having the same problem. It seems to only show up when searching. Any one know a fix?

Hello everybody!
I finally installed Mac OS X Lion on my MacBook Pro yesterday and I bought it from Mac's App Store! However I went to iTunes stroe using my Lion Operating System and I downloaded the new Cut the Rope: Experiments and my account was working fine in the beginning of the day! Then I realised that I wanna changed my accounts e-mail adress and this is not my main e-mail adress! So I changed it and after that I am not able to sign in to iTunes Store from my Mac OR FaceTime! BTW FaceTime was working fine as well! I tried creating new Apple ID's but even they didn't work for me! I received the error "We could not complete your iTunes store request! And unknown error occurred! (12002)"!
I tried signing in with my friends MacBook Pro with a different IP and he we received the same error again! I can sign in to apple.com through Safari and I can sign in with my iPod Touch! What should I do ??! Any soloutions ?!?!
Peace
RominGot it. I realized that I am logged in under my old log-in name (email) on my iPad. After I signed out and logged in back under my new log-in name (email) on iPad, it went through on my Mac as well. Check if you are not logged in to iTunes under the old ID on another device.
