How do you get all 4TB out of an internal hard drive being used as an external hard drive on a new Mac Pro?

Currently I am only able to access 1.8TB. I am sure the fix is easy. Pleae help. Using a startech USB device to mount.

I expect Kappy is correct. The controller in the enclosure is limiting the size.
You may need to buy a more modern enclosure.

File -> Export to a folder and copy it over.
That will give you a folder with the images. There is no way to move an album outside of iPhoto. You would need to have a library containing it.

Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad
2. Connect USB cable to computer; leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad

How do I get all photos OUT of iPhoto?

I want to start over with iPhoto, Aperture, and various other programs, and thus I want to get all my photogrpahs out of iPhoto (and Aperture and Lightroom) to a "neutral corner, just a set of folders on the HD where they would be just the original photos without any additional organization or data. Is this possible, and if so, how?

Hi fbx:
1. Do you want to take the originals? or the edited versions?
2. If the edited versions, simply select all and drag them from the iPhoto window to the folder you want them in. You can do the entire library like this, or do it album by album.
3. If the Originals: Select the pics and choose Photos -> Revert to Original. and repeat the above.
4. Alternatively, you can go to home/Pictures/iPhoto Library/Originals and take the pics from there. However, THIS IS NOT RECOMMENDED as mucking about in the iPhoto Library will cause problems with iPhoto. I only mention it as you're talking about reverting to a 'green field' start.

I have 2800 phones that need to get a new phone load. Will they keep trying to get the new load? What is the time out and can it be reset to longer?

As long as the phones are not hardcoded at the device level with an older load then they will upgrade (assuming the current load is compatible) when they are reset. It sounds like you are more concerned about all the phones rebooting at once. If that's the case then you will need a way to reboot subsets of phones in an orderly fashion. At NetCraftsmen, we use a custom script to do this which pulls IP phone registrations and sort them in a way that makes sense for the customer environment. The end result is we use BAT to reset groups of phones in a controlled manner to control the upgrade and load on the TFTP servers, etc. As noted before, you can do this via Device Pools, device types, or you can also sort out some custom BAT files to do the same on your own. The only caveat is that any phone that gets reset in the interim (whether from CUCM or otherwise) will upgrade either way.

I cannot get the video out to TV to work on my iPhone 3GS with iOS 5.1.1.
I am using the $40.00 apple composite AV cables and nothing seems to work. With the cables connected to tv input nothing shows up in general settings for video out. Or anywhere else for that matter. I have tried many different TV's, sometimes I get audio but never never ever video . Does anyone else have this problem or better yet the answer?

But, i do know what was wrong now. The whole problem was the brand new $40.00 set of apple composite AV cables i just bought was no good. This afternoon i took a trip to the nearest apple retail outlet (30 miles away) with phone and cables in hand. And after doing a little head scratching of their own they decided to try another set of cables, and low and behold the darn thing worked like a charm.I was very impressed by the service at the apple store even though i didnt buy either product from them. I wonder if there is a bad batch of cables floating around out there because it looks like other people out there are having the same problem, which is why i didnt really suspect the cables. How can I get all the values of a String array profile property using javascript?

I am trying to build functionality into our site that records all products added to the basket against a user's profile.
I have so far been able to store the product codes against the profile as a property using Ajax:

In this example I have hardcoded a product ID of 151515.
In order to save the property as a multi string field you simply replace &productId=151515 with &productId=151515&productId=131313&productId=141414 or as many extra values as you want to build into that string. This stores a productId property against a user profile.
The issue comes from calling that data back. Using var value = CQ_Analytics.ProfileDataMgr.getProperty("productId") I can get the first value of this array (or the single value if only one is stored).
However there does not seem to be a way to get any of the other stored values in the array using getProperty. Does anyone know how I can achieve this?

Don't think that's possible. Even if it were, you wouldn't be able to use/display BOOLEAN type in SQL.

Photostream in the cloud only keeps photos from the last 30 days (subject to a 1,000 photo limit). When photostream syncs the photos to your device they will stay there until deleted, which means you may well have more photos in your photostream album on your device than there are in photostream in the cloud.
The consequence of this is that if you turn photostream off and on again on your device, it will only be populated with photos from the last 30 days, which may not be all the photos that were previously in the photostream album on that device.
If this is what seems to be happening here, then one solution would be to create a shared photostream album on your old phone using the older photos that haven't transferred to your new phone.
You should regularly save your photos to a computer, photo stream will only save photos to your computer if instructed to do so and then only when iPhoto is open.

Thanks, but I figured it out. I just had to find the files in Windows under what would be considered a "drive." Once there, the photos all show up in a folder as JPEG files. Got the ones I needed.

My iPhone 4 was originally synced with the PC and I'm now trying to migrate it all over to the Mac. Currently, every time I try to sync the iPhone with the new Mac, I get a message saying "All existing apps and their data will be replaced by apps on this computer". I've used the "Transfer Purchases" option so the apps on the phone are also on the Mac.

Migrate your library from the PC to the Mac. Normally all you need to do is copy teh entire iTunes folder from one machine to the other over a network or using an external drive.
If your PC is no longer functional see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.
