You can use the Combine PDF feature of Adobe PDF pack to combine multiple PDF files into one document. (Or, if you have the full version of Acrobat, you an do it there as well by choosing Create > Combine Files into a Single PDF.)

You can move a tab from one window to another by clicking on it and dragging.
If you can't see the tab bar (because you have only one tab open), then open the "Tabs" section of the Firefox preferences and select "Always show the tab bar."

How can you combine multiple PDF pages into one searchable PDF page?

I have scanned multiple business cards and now have a PDF file with over 500 pages (or cards). I would like to be able and create a page with 8 cards to a page and is still searchable for text. Right now, the text is searchable. Basically have 63 pages and not 500.
Example:
If I wanted to find Joe Smith's card, I could search for "Joe Smith" and it would search all of the text and bring me to the page(s). Right now, it will bring me to that page. Is there a way to create a page where I can have multiple cards and the text is still searchable?
I tried to create a page in Photoshop, made 8 different layers with 8 different cards, but when saved, not only was the file way too large, but no text, or font, was detected and there was nothing to search for.
Is there an option to create a page in Acrobat Professional and put 8 cards to a page?
I have InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat Professional Pro.

That sounds great, but I'm lost.
I followed these steps:
1) Open your PDF (in Adobe Acrobat Pro)
2) Chose print
The print/printer options pop-up will show.
3) In the printer section, do not use your normal printer, a printer named Adobe PDF should be an option. Chose it.
4) Under the "Page handling" section, change the Page Scaling drop-down menu to "Multiple pages per sheet".
It works fine, but it looses all of the font information and the search no longer works. How can you do it and save the font info, so the search tool continues to operate.
Am I missing anything?

How can you collapse several video tracks into one track?

Hi, I have a stack of five video tracks that make up an identification placard for a speaker. I need to create motion on this, but don't want to have to do it to every track individually. I believe there is a way to incapsulate all five tracks into one track. Does anyone know the method of doing this?

Select the tracks and type Option - C, or go to the menu Sequence > Nest Item(s).
That will nest the tracks in to one clip on your timeline. If you need to make changes in the nest, double click on the nested clip in the timeline and it will re-open the tracks that have been nested.

How can you merge multiple daily backups into one backup for that day?

Ok, so I had some trouble getting Time Machine to backup some new files and finally had a force a "deep traversal." But now I have 20+ backups for today before I did the "deep traversal" because I was selecting "Back Up Now" to get it to backup up the new files.
Because it is annoying to have so many backups for one day, which differ only by incoming and outgoing emails, I am wanting to combine all the backups for today into a single backup for today. Is there any way to do this?

Yes. Wait 24 hours, and Time Machine will do it for you. It keeps all backups for 24 hours, but only one (the first of the day) for a month. Thereafter, it keeps one per week, deleting the others, as long as there's room. I have already tried doing this in PREVIEW, selecting all, and then saving, and saving as. But it is for me, to no avail. When I re-open, all I get is the first page.

So, I'm not the only one unable to merge docs thru Preview.
This is why I wrote my own script to do that.

Below is a copy of an 8/7/2013 email from adobe. I prepaid a one-year subscription, and, until I recently upgraded to Windows 8, I was able to make several dozens of merged pdf documents. I seem to be no longer able to use the merge feature that I had successfully and repeated used. When I search for the merge feature I end up with a request that I pay for an upgrade monthly subscription to use the merge feature.

Anyone know if there is a way to merge several iCal calendars into one Calendar? I've separated a few different calendars for things and want to merge all of those events into one universal Calendar. I asked Apple Support and they stated there isn't a way to do this. So, I'm throwing this out there in case someone knows a way.

Found the answer after troubleshooting on my own. I was able to do this on a PC by using Office 2007 and the calendar in there. I also had to setup Mobile Me to the calendar on my PC which was fairly easy.
What you'll have to do is have Mobileme sync your calendar data with Outlook.
Then after they sync in Outlook... manually select each imported calendar, choose to view all appointments, select all (to select all of your events), copy, then paste them into the main "Calendar".
Follow this step for all of your calendars and it works like charm.
The only thing left to do after you've copied them all is to delete the old calendars after you have all of the events copied.
This may be able to be done in iCal too using similar methods, however it was really easy for me to do it in Windows with Outlook 2007.
Just keep in mind that you want to view all events from each separate calendar and just copy those into your main calendar.

“AdbeRdr11003_en_US.exe” is the download installed on our CEO’s new Windows 8 laptop. It is a Dell XPS Re: Windows 8 Adobe Reader will not fully open a pdf compiled with several pdf's into one - why? Dell XPS 13" . It has a full install Windows 8 Professional for its’ Operating System.
I’ll attempt to attach the file in question. The file opens fine on our Windows 7, and XP computers (with the proper Adobe Reader on each).
Our CEO says there is a message that comes up saying he needs Adobe Flash. I’m attempting to find out whether or not he is trying to open it the ‘Metro’ view, or the ‘Desktop’ view – no answer yet.
If your system strips the attachment, let me know, and I’ll upload the file to an ftp site {if necessary}.
