How do you remove music from an iphone 5

Hi
For some reason I can not find any way of removing music from my iphone5, using the new software. Im sure theres something very simple Im missing. Can you help

Turns out, the album on my iphone hadn't synced onto my laptop, and so couldn't be deleted or synced. Found another post about swipping to the right on the selected album on the phone, to make a delete button appear. All sorted now.
Thanks

You can remove individual songs  Slide your finger from left to right (or opposite) over the name of the song you want to delete. You can remove all music that way in Settings - general - usage.

If it's slow on startup it would be extensions loading or LaunchDaemons starting up.
You should have a look in:
    /Library/LaunchDaemons
    /Library/Extensions
You can count out anything in your home folder and it shouldn't put anything in /System as that's reserved for Apple.

    Hello mail4bru,
I read your post, and it sounds as though you'd like to learn more about iTunes syncing. I have linked to an article that will instruct you on that:

  • How do you import music from my iPhone to my new MacBook Pro without loosing non-purchased music?

I recently purchased my first MacBook Pro. I am trying to import my music from my iphone to my Mac and itunes, but I do not want to sync it because I have downloaded music from previous CD's that I do not want to loose. It says that I can only transfer "Purchased" music into my itunes library? I can I transfer ALL my music from my iphone to my computer and into itunes????

Syncing is NOT limited to purchases music. You do not need to purchase anything, just learn how to select and sync (not upload) thru iTunes. What does "not let me upload" mean? What is occurring when you try and what are you doing?
A PDF iPhone iOS 5 user guide is here. You can also download it as a free iBook.

  • How do you sync music from my iphone to my new macbook?

I have just purchased a new macbook pro and I was wondering whether there was anyway to transfer music from my iphone to my macbook?
My previous itunes was on a dell computer so I'm not sure whether I'll have to transfer music from this computer to my macbook. Hopefully there's an easier and quicker way using my iphone!
    Thanks

What should be done, is to copy your entire iTunes folder from
your old computer to your new one, then open iTunes holding down
the shift key.   You will get prompted to create new or open existing,
select existing and navigate to the iTunes folder and select the
    "iTunes Library.itl" file.
To find were the iTunes folder is:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1391
After doing this, you "should" be able to sync normally.
If you never previously synced to iTunes, then it could be problematic.
