If a backup was created after the video was made but before it was deleted, restore the device using that backup.
If no such backup exists, there is nothing to restore.

Hi,
I'm able to check a box in restrictions so apps aren't deleted but there is no similar function to select for music and videos.
I'm Getting fed up with my special needs kids being able to accidentally delete them.. its happened twice today, 25GB of videos accidentally were removed.
How can we lock them so they can not be deleted?
If there is no function, perhaps Apple needs to create one.

You can make a password protected folder of the apps your children use to access music and videos so they are not on the screen. They will not have access to music or videos. But I'm sure your problem is they want to see videos, hear music, etc. ...
If they don't have them, maybe they'll lose interest and play with games specified for them. Even then, though, they can probably delete those, too.
To my knowledge there are no apps to prevent your children from deleting music and videos. However, you are not alone. You might want to google it. If enough parents inforn Apple... Look what they've been doing for vision, hearing impaired, users with physical mobility problems, people on the autism spectrum, and others with learning issues/disabilities, etc. Here are a couple of ipad parents with similar questions/requests.

If your ipad 2 is older than 90 days you do not have phone support. If more than a year, it's out of warranty. If you're near a genius bar make an appointment. Otherwise, I suggest the following solution.

It sounds like you to 5 separate videos. If you start recording, then stop it, then start it again, you will have 2 videos. Not 1. As for splicing them together, you will need a video editing package for your PC. I don't know if Windows Movie Maker (or whatever they're calling it now) can handle this or not. On a Mac, I'd say just use iMovie.

How do you stream a live video to a website. I use GoDaddy to host a website. I can plug a video camera into my Mac so I can run the video through whatever program works best. I even have a .mac account (now its mobile me I guess) and could use that. I have read several threads but can't really find a starting point. Any help is appreciated.

You have Mac OS X Snow Leopard, so you are going to use Boot Camp 3 on Windows. After installing Windows 7 on your MacBook, insert the Snow Leopard DVD and install the Boot Camp drivers from here. On Snow Leopard, you can only download the Boot Camp drivers for the Late 2010 MacBook Air. On Lion and Mountain Lion, you have to download the Boot Camp drivers for all the computers. My first instinct was the simple stop(), but that didn't fly. I even added a stopMovie frame in my .swf and tried a gotoAndStop('stopMovie'); but that didn't fly either. And that's kind of where I'm stuck at.

Obviously the foregoing only applies to DVDs you have made yourself, or other home-made DVDs that have been given to you. It will NOT work on copy-protected commercial DVDs, which in any case would be illegal.

go thru all your mail boxes, and delete, all your synced boxes, highlight the stuff you want to trash, click delete.
Go thru all the boxes and do the delete, then go to your server trash, and delete.
You canthen go to on my mac and do the same thing.
This is way different than 10.6.8, and I'm sure there is a much better way to do this, but at least it will get rid of some junk.
