For passcode lock, go Settings > General > Passcode Lock, enter your passcode, and then disable the feature.
For normal screen lock, go to Settings > General > Auto-Lock, and set it to 'Never'.
Now your iPhone will only screen lock when you press the 'Sleep/Wake' button.

I think I see the problem. I can get to "Keyboard," but when I click on it there is no bottom tag labeled "Modifier Keys". In fact, there is no bottom tab. Therefore, there is no drop down menu, and no "Caps Lock," and no "No Action". What I see when I click on "Keyboard" is only what I mentioned in a previous posting. Two sentences, as I recall.

Another thought: is your computer part of a Windows domain or other network? Is there a policy on the network to require a screen saver password? (For example on my office's Windows network, a screen saver password requirement is set in the Group Policy. I am using either of the path selection tools to select only some of the paths on the layer. I have the proper layer targeted. I have the selection too auto select option turned off.
If another layer has a path in that area, that layer becomes auto targeted and I get the wrong path. Turning off the layer is the only way to avoid this but then I have to turn on the layer back on between making my selection and transforming to use the other layer as guide. Is there any way to stop this auto select? Locking the other layer does not stop the auto select, just prevents editing.

As far as i know the move tool options don't have any effect on the path selection tools.
You might try clicking on one of the path points or on the path itself with one of path selection tools and if you want to select multiple points
you can shift click with the Direct Selection Tool or Alt click to select the entire path.

The is no way to prevent someone for setting a screen-lock passocde on an iPod.
To turn of an existing screen-lock passcode go to Settings>General>Passcode-lock and turn it off. yo have to enter the passcode to turn it off.

'Never' can be removed so as to protect a company's potentially sensitive email - they may not want the iPad being left/stolen with the emails on it accessible.
