There's a problem puzzled me some days.How does the URL of DataSocket constitute ? And how to use it in LabWindow/CVI ?
For example.I have downloaded a code in http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/3787.I want to make it work properly.So I configure my DataSocket Server Manger according to the URL of this statement.

 My DateSockket Server Manger is configured as:
However,it could not work properly when I debug it.
There's a introduction at the top of the code."You may need to replace the references to weather.natinst.com to 130.164.140.10 if the DNS isn't working properly."So,I modified the statement into

but,it did work properly.
We want to communicate with other computers via the URL of  DataSocket in LabWindows/CVI.Whereas,how could we make it ia the URL ?

    I have been unable to locate information regarding how the EDB handles deleted files.  I am able to recover deleted emails from the EDB; however, there are numerous emails that I know have been deleted, that were not recovered during the recovery process.
     Is this because the EDB dumps deleted emails once it reaches a certain amount of entries?  Or is it more likely the deleted items are corrupted and thus not recoverable?  Thank you for your time and I look forward to your responses.  The
    product in question is Microsoft Exchange Server 2007.

    Great information from the other posters and one other possible explanation is if the users did a HARD DELETE.  More information on this below
    Pre-Exchange 2010 Dumpster 1.0 worked as follows;
    1. When a user does a normal delete of an item via Outlook or OWA it gets sent to your deleted items folder
    2. If the user then empties deleted items folder those items are then marked with the ptagDeletedOnFlag attribute which in essence hides them from the view of the user
    3. At this point the user can use the Recover Deleted Items function in Outlook to recover those items as long as the items were NOT purged using the Recover Deleted Items option OR the items have not passed still the deleted item retention period.
    NOTE: Every day there is a nightly maintenance process that in short looks through  the DB and examines items that have been deleted. Items that have met or exceeded the deleted item retention period are purged from the system and are
    completely non-recoverable.  More about this at the end of my post.
    4. However if the end user were to  delete an item from the Inbox or another folder in Outlook by using Shift + Delete aka a Hard Deletion the item is left in its orignal location and gets marked with the ptagDeletedOnFlag attribute which again just
    hides it from view.
    5. By default you can only use the Recover Deleted Items option on the Delted Items folder.  Howeve you can make it so that you can recover hard Deleted items from other folders.  More on that here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/246153
    5. The problem with this method though IMO is that you have to know where to look and that can be rather time consuming.
    6. If you want a more elegant method to resolve this and are open to using 3rd party utilities check out Lucid8's DigiScope. 
    http://www.lucid8.com/product/digiscope.asp which will allow you to open any offline copy of the DB from a forensic point of view and to solve your specific issue you can either turn on a filter to ONLY
    show hard deleted items OR you can search the entire store and all mailboxes for just deleted items and can then view or export them to PST or MSG format.  You can download the product and obtain a 30 day demo license which will allow you to find any
    hard deleted items, however to view them or export your would need to purchase a license.
    NOTE: When a database is backed up or copied it is an "Offline" database and then its offline the data retention period is not an issue because the nightly online maintenance process can only act on a database that is mounted on an
    Exchange server.  So for this reason if you want to recover the most data possible use offline copies/backups of the DB with a 3rd party utility like DigiScope
    NOTE 2: Exchange 2010 and 2013 use Dumpster 2.0 which is an entirely different beast and I will not go into that in this post since its nearly 1AM  however DigiScope can expose that information as well

    Here is another way to determine which Application Configuration is being used to lauch the Business Object.
    1. Goto PFCG transaction.
    2. Enter the Role for ex.. /SAPSRM/EMPLOYEE
    3. Go to the Menu tab
    4. Now select the entry ' Shopping Cart' .
    5. Right click on this entry and choose the option Details.
    The details window will display the details of the application which is being used and other parameters like mode etc .
    Add the server and port information in the front of the value in the URL field for lauching the application independently.
    Hope this will solve your problem.

  • How Does The Playcount Sync Across iTunes and Multiple iPhones/iPods?

    Okay, this is more of a lazy question, because I don't feel like investigating myself...
    So I have an iPhone with all of my music on it. I also have an iTouch with all of my music. Occasionally I will play music on my iPhone, but primarily it's only used as an iPod when I'm driving and can plug it in.
    However, the iTouch is being used more and more to play music on the go.
    Both have the exact same library on them. They also have three smart playlists (which yes, I know they only update when synced with iTunes, since something is goofy with the smart lists) which rely on the playcount.
    I was wondering how the playcount works when synced across the iPhone to and from the iTouch and iTunes.
    Here's what I'm asking....
    I have songs A, B, C and D.
    On the iTouch, I play song A 5 times.
    On the iPhone, I play song B 5 times.
    On BOTH, I play song C 5 times.
    On my computer, I play song D 5 times.
    Now, how are they all going to sync? If I plug the iTouch in first, will it show that I played song A and C 5 times, and iTunes will update song D on the iTouch, but when I plug in the iPhone, it'll show that I didn't play song A, so it'll modify the playlist? Or when I sync the iPhone, will it update song C twice, one for the iTouch, one for the iPhone, so it'll show that I played it 10 times (correct)? Or will it only see that song C was played on one device?
    My main reason is that I want to know how I should expect my smart lists to function when being spread out over three devices...

    Play counts are updated in iTunes when you sync the device, and should then propagate. So, for song A which was played only on the iPod Touch, after those 5 plays if you sync the iPod Touch that will change the iTunes count to 5, then if you sync the iPhone after that, song A will have a play count of 5 for the iPhone's smart playlist (since syncing the iPhone will update the smart playlist at that time).

    So I have Office 365 installed.  Running the owa Outlook and the desktop verison at the same time.  Outlook 2013 servers from Microsoft.  What I noticed is that changes to some don't affect others:
    On the owa version, I had to activate both Linkedin and Facebook connectors, even though they were already loaded and operational in the Outlook desktop version..which I thought was strange.  I am also running Exchange off the Microsoft servers.
    So to the question... On the desktop Outlook version, when I click on a contact, View Source:
    1)
    Outlook (Contacts, *** Email address is removed for privacy ***)
    Facebook
    Linkedin
    (this scenario is pulling the Facebook photo although I have a different photo assign in Outlook)
    2)
    Outlook
    Linkedin
    (this scenario pulls the Linedkin photo although I have a different picture assigned to it thru Contacts)
    3)
    Facebook
    Linkedin
    (this is pulling the facebook photo and not the linkedin photo)
    Now if I go out to OWA:
    1) Above is actually showing the LinkedIn photo (I also notice I have 3 linked profiles to this.. all 3 are LinkedIn profiles)
    2) I show a Linkedin photo (I also have linked: Contacts, LinkedIn, LinkedIn)
    3) I show a LinkedIn photo (I also have 2 other linkedin contacts linked to this contact)
    So I'm guessing that the contacts that have multiple LinkedIn profiles linked to them were because of some duplicate recordes that occurred or it could be because I have my regular work profile for a contact and they had a different e-mail address they are
    using for Facebook and LinkedIn possibly?
    How can I change each contact so I can select their photo for 1) Contacts, *** Email address is removed for privacy *** (where I loaded a local picture of them) vs. using their LinkedIn photo vs. their Facebook photo?
    Also, is there any 3rd party app or different way to increase the quality of LinkedIn and Facebook photos?

    The first thing I test to do when iMovie doesn't behave as it should is to trash the preference file.
    It's a very common way to try to solve problems with Applications that has problems.
    Reg iMovie that file is named as one or more of these
    com.apple.iMovie.plist
    com.apple.iMovie3.plist
    com.apple.iMovie7.plist
    com.apple.iMovie8.plist
    com.apple.iMovie9.plist
    com.apple.iMovieApp.plist
    Not always all of them are present - but many can be
    I also trash
    com.apple.iApps.plist
    and clean out the Cache folder
    All of them are in a folder named Library - BUT as there are more than one - most people chose the wrong one.
    The obvious one is Library on Root level - first window that opens when You open Your Start-Up Hard Disk.
    AND - that is the wrong one
    The one to find is the one in Your User Account folder - and in Mac OS X.7 and so on - it is HIDDEN.
    Easiest way to find the correct one is to go up to the top row Menu (Apple symbol to the top Left hand corner of screen) and here go to the right to GO and keep Option-key DOWN and it will Show You the correct Library.
    Now - here find the folder Preferences to move out the com.apple.xxxxxx files to the desktop WHEN APPLICATION IS NOT RUNNING ! IMPORTANT !
    then find the folder named Caches - here too - try to identify the cache files that are connected to the application - and move them too to desktop.
    Now try to run Your application e.g. iMovie
    There is an easier way to test if this is the real problem by
    • Goto Apple menu and down to System preferences
    • Select Accounts
    • Click on the Plus sign and create a new user e.g. test1
    • Apple menu - and down to Log out
    • Now log into the new user test1
    • Now see if application runs as intended
    If so - then the problem to 99% is in the Pref or Cache files.

    Cookies get encoded into a URL using the method in HttpServletResponse: response.encodeURL() or encodeRedirectURL().
    That method determines whether or not it prints out the session id as part of the url, or it gets uses cookies.
    You can try: request.isRequestedSessionIdFromCookie().
    If that is true, you know that session cookies are supported (or at least that one was)
