What happens if I my internet got disconnected in the middle of the exam? Does it pause / can I resume it later? Or is it gone forever and I am considered as "failed" ?

In the first line it is saying that each CAL for a web service is consumed for a period of 5 minutes and how come it can support 25 users concurrently. Did it mean 25 web service connections inside a swf flash file or 25 different users to access a single web service through swf flash.

The "Set cost controls" concurrent program is used in R12 to mass update the cost control fields on item costs.
The cost control region is found by going to Cost management >Item costs > Item Costs
The concurrent program lets you specify which items /costs should be updated by using various parameters such as cost type, item range, category range etc.
And you can specify the source for the new cost control data and the new value for the fields.

Cache is nothing but a buffer kinda where all the recently accessed data r stored.
so sometimes even after making changes u access the page the old data/page is displayed...
so Web AS cache works as a normal refresh deleting all the recently accessed data/pages...
it clears or frees ur memory so tht no irrelevant data is obtained...

How does the adjust to DST option work?

I set my forum time to GMT+2 (Athens, Cairo), but in Israel the DST period just ended and now the forum time is an hour early.
Is the Automatically Adjust Times for Daylight Savings checkbox only relevant in the countries which are selected from the list (Greece and Egypt in this case)? How does the forum choose when DST is over?

How is the "extractor" supposed to work for ObservableLists?
According to the JavaDoc it should trigger a update:

I, too, am trying to work out how to use extractors. The documentation is sparse.
I have found that if you replace your:
arrayList.get(0).nameProperty().set("Hi");
with:
list.remove(0);
your Callback is called, but you pretty quickly get a NullPointerException after it returns.

How does the Photo Download Backups folder work?

I am wondering how the Photo Download Backups folder works--does it keep backups for just a certain amount of time? I just recently found this in my Downloads folder when I was cleaning out unncessary files for extra hard drive space. Mine has nearly 60GB so it would be great to clear it out if possible. You are talking about two different things:
Are you downloading the pdf to your computer or trying to view it in your browser? These are two different things. If you are trying to view it in your browser, which browser under which OS? How are you trying to view it. If you are trying to download a pdf, again please list the steps.
As to conversion to pdf, you use the Save AS Other menu.

When you import an audio or video file a group is created for you. You can import media with the same name(videosample.ogv; videosample.mp4) to this group for ensuring browser compatibility. The corresponding format will be chosen depending on the browser that loads the composition.
Regarding WebM format - You can also add a webm file in your composition;However since this is a royalty format, Animate will not show a live preview inside the Authoring tool. If you browser supports this then it will definitely play fine on browser preview.
You can take a look at the In-app Video lesson which is available to you in the lesson panel for more details on how this works.
And yes you have pre-load options for HTML5 Video too, however progressive download is not available. You will need to use scripting using JS for getting this functionality.

How does the rightclick in captivate 6 work?

Hello everybody!
I have a problem with the rightclick in captivate 6. I`m making softwaresimulations for the products of my company. The design of our software requiers a lot of rightclicks. When I publish the simulation as a html-file the rightclick is absolutly no problem. Also publishing the file as a swf-File and playing in a browser makes no problems. But sadly, because of the technical requirements of our costumers, the softwaresimulation must be played in a flash-standalone-player like Adobe Flash 11 sa. But when I test the simulation in the standalone-player the rightclick doesn`t work anymore.
My question is, how can I make the rightclick in this case working correctly?
I would be so thankful if anybody could help me.

Thank you for your answer. But I`m not sure if you understand me right. I don`t want to publish an exe-File. I just want to run the swf-File in a standalone flash player and use the rightclick.
Doesn`t the flash player support JavaScript?

HOW DOES THE NEW MBOX 2 MINI WORK WITH THE MAC MINI?

I have a old original Mac mini 1.25GHz with 1 GB SDRAM - 40GB Ultra ATA drive, 4x SuperDrive (DVD±RW/CD-RW) OS 10.3
I also have just added the new MAC MINI 1.66 CTO OS 10.4
with the following configuration:
* Processor 065-6673 1.66GHz Intel Core Duo
* Memory 065-6676 1GB 667 DDR2 SDRAM-2x512
* Hard Drive 065-6750 120GB Serial ATA drive
* Optical Drive 065-6679 Combo Drive
In addition, I have a MicroNet 150 GB external hard drive.
The 3 are linked together so that the icons for the MircroNet and the old Mac mini are shown on the New Mac mini desktop.
I’ve kept the New MM as is for apps, moved most of the files and folders to the MNet, and have done a reinstall on the old MM, getting rid of almost everthing that was on it originally except the OSX and apps.
I’m thinking about using the old MM to set up a recording studio. This would involve the new MBox 2 Mini with ProTools LE. For details, just Google it. It comes 2 ways, configured for the G4 MM or for the new Intel MM. I’d rather not clutter up the new MM with this, as sometimes the Digidesign Pro Tools apps can be a bit toxic.
If I get the MBox 2 Mini and run it on the old MM, will this work? Has anyone tried this? Do I have enough processing power and speed, ram and hard drive space?

I just purchased a Mbox 2 Mini. I am running it flawlessly with my Core Duo 1.66Ghz Mac mini w/2GB RAM.
I have not seen the two versions for Intel and PPC Macs as you described. Digidesign only produces one box...compatible with Mac or PC.
The Digidesign site states that the Mbox 2 Mini is compatible with your 1.25GHz mini, but Pro Tools LE 7.3.x requires Mac OS X Tiger 10.4.x, not Panther 10.3.x.
You would get far better perfomance using the Intel mini over the PPC. And, you would get better perfomance by maxing the RAM out as well.

How does the get new coef.vi work??

My labview is 7.0 edition.
The vi is In the directory ... \National Instruments\LabVIEW 7.0\vi.lib\analysis\6fits.llb\get new coefficients.vi . It looks like that the vi can give the new coefficients using some matrix solution method. It is very difficult to study on it because it uses the call library function node.
Can someone tell me what method it use to solve the matrix equation? Now I need it to understand the nonlinear fit vi written by Altenbach.

How does the extended life battery (TV08) work? Does it kick in once the primary battery is dead?

I just received my extended life battery. Following the "instructions", I was able to attach it to the bottom of my laptop.
I left it charging overnight.
Today, I unplugged my AC adapter and ran on battery. After a couple of hours, my primary battery completely discharged. I was expecting the extended life battery to "kick-in". It did not. My computer completely shut-down.
My question is, am I missing something on how to use this extended life battery or do I have a defective battery.
My laptop is a Probook 6455b.
