Hi Dear ..
I created a new album in my IPhone 4S ... I added 52 photos & video to the new album .. then i deleted them from camera roll to not have double photos .. I was surprised that photos were deleted from the new album as well .. I don't have a back up .. how I can get them back ?

Yes, the status of iCloud Backup is ON but the latest backup was almost last year because the iCloud storage was full.
I have tried the best 5 software programs for recovery and it didn't work .. I could return old contacts, notes, & chats .. except photos & video
it must be a way ,right ?

I've recesally had to take my Iphone to be repaired before I. took my phone i backed up my data into Icloud and when i got my new phone I have lost all my contacts and photos. My contacts are not that important but my photos are is their anyway i can recover them as many of them contain specail moments which i wish not to lose.

Restore the iPhone from your backup.

If you don't have your iPhone anymore, you can't access the data on it remotely.
However, if you are syncing to iCloud, you can set up iCloud syncing on your computer and at least get your contact info.

You can't download pictures from iCloud by logging into icloud.com. If you deleted pictures from camera roll AND photo stream, the only possibility is preforming a restore from an iCloud backup, assuming the backup has the pictures in it. (Many users have been unable to restore and get back their pictures.)
If the restore doesn't have all the pictures, then they are gone.
In the future, use photo stream to sync photos from an iPhone to a computer, then copy the photos on the computer from the photo stream album into a permanent album. Photo stream pics stay there only for 30 days, and only up to 1000 photos are stored. Don't use photo stream as a storage medium, it's only for copying photos from one device to another. Always copy (either via USB cable or photo stream) to a computer and then move to an album.

a best practice to is to never have any computer program (including iPhoto) delete the photos from the card but to import the photos and keep them and then after at least one successful backup cycle has completed and then reformat the card -- I use three very large (32 GB) cards in rotation so I do not reformat for typically a year or more giving me one more long term backup of my photos

How were they lost? You have provided no background material for someone to work with. If you have deleted the photos and are on the latest iOS, there is a deleted photos album in Photos. If you do not have them in the deleted photos album, you could restore your device from a backup that contains the photos. If these were not photos from the Camera Roll and from syncing, they had to be removed by a sync, and could be synced back as long as they still exist on the computer. There are a few other choices, but I'll wait and see what you may have been doing.

just as fyi,
this is a user-to-user forum, so while there are some nokia moderators, very doubtful that any engineers are on here, at least for the time that i have been a member...which may be the oldest in here.
your best bet may be to go to the windowsphone forums from microsoft, or other 3rd party sites that have hackers.
i am a fan of the linux platform, like you, and while linux is open, this system is locked out and closed.
also, your situation is really odd. i have never had my device just run out of battery and self purge! something else must be in play here, strong magnets, jolts of static....
i have had a couple of different units in my hand before and when in high dry places in the desert (las vegas) and grabbing the metal door handle to open it had strong shocks where it did effect my device....so i know that is possible...but just loosing battery and purge is really odd.

If you don't have them backed up somewhere, then there's little possibility of recovering them. There are some utilities that can in some cases recover an inadvertently-deleted photo, but I've found none that can recover photos or other data from an iPad that was erased as part of an iOS upgrade. You can do a web search for something like "iPhone photo recovery" and you'll find some utilities you can try.

How do I recover missing proxy photos?

I got a new computer and the geek squad transferred my old files to the new computer along with my Photoshop Elements 4.0, which I upgraded to Photoshop Elements 11. The problems is that my proxy files are missing. I should say that they are in the new pse11, but only the information shows up without a proxy photo. I can see the filename, and tags but no photo. Give these two fixes a try to see if they can recover those missing photos. But be sure to have a backup of your current library in case the results are not to your liking:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button,
and select the library you want to add from those in the selection window.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note 1: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost.
Note 2: Your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.
Starting over from scratch with new library
Start over with a new library and import the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from your original library as follows:
1. Open the library package like this.
2. Launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
3. Drag the subfolders of the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from the open iPhoto Library package into the open iPhoto window a few at a time.
This will create a new library with the same Events (but not necessarily the same Event names) as the original library but will not keep the metadata, albums, books slideshows and other projects.
Note: your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.

Sea water and electronics don't mix. The salinity fries the internal circuitry of the phone. Your phone is toast.
Certainly the user of any device which can be lost, stolen, or dropped in the sea would be smart enough to have had the data backed up, rght? Your photos and numbers should be safely backed up on your computer or in the cloud.
If you didn't do this, there's no way to recover those data now. Backups are meant to be done BEFORE disaster strikes, not after.

Thanks for the idea, fruhulda. I just checked (Jul 18) and the "missing" font is there. However, yesterday I tried a full restart of my computer, and it seemed to fix (?) the problem, so I still am not sure what happened. At any rate, the problem is now gone.
