How do I send an attachment with Entourage 2008?

I sent out some jpegs to various people, all the Mac folks opened them just fine but a couple of the PC folks said that they couldn't open them at all. In the Preference > Compose > Encode For, "Any Computer (Apple Double)" is selected, should it be "Windows MIME/Base 64"? is there something else that I'm missing that is keeping the PC people from seeing them?
Would it be better to insert the pictures as an HTML, i.e., not as attachments?
Advice/Comments appreciated.

I tried with DBadapter select it does not work ... For blob objects cant use select throws error as expected number got blob
can call a stored procedure to write the file to some directory but that file will not be created with the same name of the file as stored in DB .. need to hard code the filename in utl file or if we pass a variable to get the name of the attachment file we have to use select query in cursor which throws error like above in step 2
Can some body tell me how to get the blob attachment with the same name as it is stored in DB table

Have you upgraded to Yosemite? Then you could send the attachment using Mail Drop.
You can use Mail Drop to send files that exceed the maximum size allowed by the provider of your email account. Mail Drop uploads the large attachments to iCloud, where they’re encrypted and stored for up to 30 days.

You can use any folder on the CF server or any system to
which it has
access. By default the CF service runs as a localsystem user,
so would
generally only have access to the local server file system.
This is
determined in the Services panel on window systems, I'm not
sure how it
works for other OS's.
If you are talking about the "Browse" button that is
displayed in the
web page for the <input type="file" ..> that does not
browse the server,
it browses the local user's system. You do not and can not
influence
this in any way. When a user selects a file from their system
and
submits the form, the file is uploaded to the webserver
through the HTTP
response header or URL query string, depending on whether the
form is a
post or get form.
You then use the <cffile action="upload" ...> tag on
the form's action
page to get the file from the web server and write it to a
location you
define the "file" parameter of the flag. This file system
access is
done under the permissions of the ColdFusion server, again
'LocalSystem'
by default.
You can then use this newly saved file in you <cfmailparam
...> tag to
attach it to an email. After this if you like you can use a
<cffile
action="delete" ...> to remove the file.

Want to Send smartform as pdf attachment with a Email to some mail id

Hi ,
I want to send a smartform as a PDF attachment with a mail to a mail id. And I can send a mail with the PDF attachment.
But I am not able to open the PDF. It is throwing some error (Adobe reader could not open u2018fileu2019 because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example , it was sent as an email attachment and was not correctly decoded)).
By debugging I come to know that the file which is generating is in some encoding format.
Please help me regard this. This is very urgent.

Hi, I am using USB 8476s to communicate to a slave unit in LIN network. Can anyone tell me how i can send a header frame plus 1 byte of data to the slave in a LIN network. or how do I communictae with slave using LabVIEW7.1.
I want to read responses from the slave. When i tried with labview exapmle programs or even using MAX also, while doing some switching action in my slave, i am getting response as Device inactive with timestamp but there is no data format.
And I have Lin Description File. Can you suggest me how to use ldf file.
I am at customer place and It would be great help from you if you can suggest me at the earliest. Thank you

I have created an report and scheduled for background and it generated a spool now how i can send a mail to the user SAP Office mailbox through that spool.
                      please provide me the sample code if possible.

Read the spool number with this...
    SELECT RQIDENT
    INTO (T_TSP01-RQIDENT)
    FROM TSP01
    WHERE RQOWNER EQ SY-UNAME
      AND RQCLIENT EQ SY-MANDT.
    APPEND T_TSP01.
    ENDSELECT.
Use this FM RSPO_IRETURN_RAW_DATA to read the content of the spool into an Internal Table...
Finally use this FM SO_OBJECT_SEND to send the mail to an SAP Office user...

Hello everybody!
I have a problem with my videos, well first of all I took videos with a camera for my school proyects and then I want to send those videos to my Ipad but there is a problem because when I tried to send my videos it said that those videos could not be synced and then I checked the video´s properties and it says that the format of those videos are .MP4 instead of the .mp4 format and i want to ask the community if there are other types of .mp4 formats and how I can send my videos?
Please reply because I really need those videos for my school proyect.
