How indesign detects that the images have been modified

Hello,
My problem is that all my images links are seen modified (yellow triangle) while the images don't have been modified.
The modified dates are the same.
All my images are on a unix server and indesign is used on Mac.
How indesign detects that the images have been modified ?

When you say the time stamp you talk about the modification date in the box link info ?
Because this date is the same on the image and in indesign and when I update the image this date doesn't change.
the only informations that change when I update the links are the import date and the state (modified become ok)

Save/Export them as JPG. Photoshop defaults to PSD, so make sure you select JPG and not just rename the file to .jpg.
There are two ways to save them as JPG: Regular Save as option or Save for Web & Devices
Take your pick.

1. It is never a good idea to include personal info like your email address or Apple ID in a post on an open forum.
2. The email you received DOES NOT say your Apple ID cannot be used to unlock this iPad. The email informs you that your Apple ID was used to unlock an iPad. Fortunately the iPad is yours. The message confirms that. If your Apple ID was used to unlock an iPad that was not yours your would then know to change your password. Since the iPad is yours you do not need to change your password.

How to get that the invoice has been printed or not?

Hi Experts,
I have a issue in Printing Invoice. I have to make 2 copies of an invoice. One is Original and another is Duplicate. I have made that with copy windows. But the requirement is that when the original copy of a selected invoice has been printed then from the second time only the duplicate copy will be printed. How to do that in ABAP? How to get the information that the invoice has been printed or not?

Try the below approach, i think this is better than the previous approach and takes care of the print from "text menu" as well
select from z table.
if sy-subrc eq 0.
call "SMARTFORM_COPY"
else.
While calling the smartform, make sure you import the "JOB_OUTPUT_INFO" parameter,
and after you call the smartform,
call "SMARTFORM_ORIG"
exporting...
Importing...
job_output_info = w_job_output_info
exceptions...
If sy-subrc eq 0.
if w_job_output_info EQ 'X'.
update the Z table.
else.
do not update the z table
endif.
endif.

No what i really want is , How can i verify that the request has been moved to Quality System by the basis people, assuming that i have only access to dev system.

How to know that a method has been called and returning value of a method

Hi, everyone! I have two questions. One is about making judgment about whether a method has been called or not; another one is about how to return "String value+newline character+String value" with a return statement.
Here are the two original problems that I tried to solve.
Write a class definition of a class named 'Value' with the following:
a boolean instance variable named 'modified', initialized to false
an integer instance variable named 'val'
a constructor accepting a single paramter whose value is assigned to the instance variable 'val'
a method 'getVal' that returns the current value of the instance variable 'val'
a method 'setVal' that accepts a single parameter, assigns its value to 'val', and sets the 'modified' instance variable to true, and
a boolean method, 'wasModified' that returns true if setVal was ever called.
And I wrote my code this way:

boolean modified=false;
int val;
public Value(int x)
{val=x;}
public int getVal()
{return val;}
   public void setVal(int y)
    val = y;
    modified = true;
     public boolean wasModified()

I supposed that only when the "setVal" is called, the "modified" variable will be true(it's false by default) and val=y, don't either of this two conditions can prove that the method "setVal" has been called?
I also have some questions about the feedback I got

y being a parmeter to the setValue method exists only within the scope of that method. And why would you want to test that anyways? If modified evaluates to true, that's all you need to know that the value has been modified. So you could have   public boolean wasModified()
      if (modified == true)
            return true;
   }But even that is unnecessarily verbose, as the if condition evaluates to true, and the same is returned. So in the final analysis, all you need is   public boolean wasModified()
      return modified;
   }And a public class has to be declared in a file named for the class, yes.
As for your second assignment, NO you cannot "return" two variables fom a method. return means just that: when the return statement is encountered, control returns to the calling routine. That's why the compiler is complaining that the statement following the (first) return statement is unreachable.
Do you know how to string Strings together? (it's called concatenation.) And how to represent a newline in a String literal?

How to confirm that the chains are de-schedule?

Hi Moderators & Experts,
Is there any way to view/find/identify that the chains have been stopped or de-scheduled??
like any Table or monitor screen with red or green signals.
For ex : i have 30 chains and due to outrage i have De-scheduled all the chains using the "Remove from schedule " option from scheduler menu,just to re-confirm is their any table or monitor to identify that the changes have been done correctly and no chain is left while performing the activity.

in SM37 if you see any "BI_PROCESS_TRIGGER" scheduled then there are process chains that are still scheduled.

The screenshots tell you everything.
The second one tells you how the image frame is automatically set up after a one-click place. It's the blue stroked rectangle with the eight control points at each corner and mid-way along the line. This image frame is generated at a proportionally correct height and width for the image it contains.
Now, if you look at the third screenshot (click on it to see it at a larger size), you will see I've used the direct selection tool (white arrow) to click on the image within the image frame. This CLEARLY shows the image (within the image frame) is substantially larger than the frame generated to contain it. This is indicated by the yellow stroked rectangle with the eight control points at each corner and mid-way along the line.
Notice that the blue and yellow rectangles are vastly different sizes.
In InDesign CS5.5, when i clicked to place the image, the image would fit perfectly within its image frame. the blue and yellow rectangles would match.
I had no need to go click on the proportional fill and centre buttons like i need to do now in CC.
I have a keyboard shortcut to place. I can't do File > Place for the amount of images i need to place.
So to reiterate: How do i place an image so that the image and image frame match?

Photoshop CC: Have a template that I moved image into. Image is too small. How do I resize the image while in the template? Or must I go to original image file and resize there again and again until I get the right fit?

I have a template that I am able to plug different pictures into at different times. The problem is that when I plug an image into that template, I find that the image is either too big or too small. Is there a way to plug the image into the template and resize the image (and not the template itself) OR will I have to go to the file with the original image and resize it there and then try to plug it in to the template to see if it fits------and if it does not fit, go back to the original file with the image and resize it again and see if that fits---and so on and so on...........? I have tried the" image size" option but it's hit or miss------mostly miss!

Read up on Smart Objects. It looks like you have no idea as to how to create and use them.
Jut create a Smart Object from the layer containing whatever it image it is that you are "plugging into your template". But you do need to learn the application at its most basic levels.
Photoshop is a professional level application that makes no apologies for its very long and steep learning curve. You cannot learn Photoshop in a forum, one question at a time.
Or is it possible that you don't even have Photoshop proper but the stripped-down Photoshop Elements?"

Once you have changed your Apple ID, you need to set it up for use in the various systems such as iTunes, the App Store, etc so it can be used as intended. This article shows how to do that -

Hi,
Tcode sm37 is the place where you can see the background job status.
Jobs have been help up
as per my understanding
1) job has been triggered and kept it in hold
Now when a job has been triggered, and is kept in hold for its associated process, then you have to wait, becuse the target on which the job has been run is currently used by other and because of this the present job is kept in hold.
Also see the st22 for any shortdumps.
2) Job itself has not yet triggered
The jobs will be in released state and will not trigger, normally this occurs when that particular job is waiting for the event to trigger it, and probably the even has not yet triggered or even if triggered the communication mightnot have been made to the job to trigger. These situations can be attributed to many things lyk system performance, or some internal comm failure, some DB dead locks etc.,.
Now for the first one, start the job immediately with high priority ( if required ) and once completed reschedule it again as normally it is running
for the second , you can trigger the particular event in sm64 and c has the job came to active state or not.
or else you can copy the job and schedule is immediately.

How to show the ellipse found in the IMAQ shape detect to the image

I have come out with the VI which had detected the ellipses. The ellipse result shown in the last part just only shows the number of matches and also the ellipses information. The problem is I wanted the ellipse found shown in the image to show where is the ellipse that detected in the LABVIEW but not only showing me the number of ellipse detected. Because I wanted to know the ellipse detected in the image provided that other shape is also in the image. Sorry for the bad English maybe I don't know use English to state my question correctly. Thank you for the helping I stuck in the last part to complete my task.
PS: I have attach my VI and image that I used in below. The minimum score set it to 990 and it will show the result of 3 numbers of matches. Anyone know how to locate the 3 ellipse in the image? Thank you for the help

Whenever I try to open iPhoto, a message comes up saying that 148 photos have been found in the iPhoto Library that have not been imported. I keep deleting the empty recovered photo files but it just keeps asking me every time I go to open iPhoto! I'd love to just get rid of the "found" photos (I can't open them anyway!)
How do I get rid of them so that I can just open iPhoto straight up without this?

Open your iPhoto Library package with the Finder.
Click to view full size
look for a folder titled Import or Importing and move it to the Desktop. Launch iPhoto to see if the message goes away. If there is no message check the contents of the Import folder to see if you want to keep any of those image files (usually they have not been imported into iPhoto). If you want to keep them then drag the folder into the open iPhoto window to import.
