How is playbook debut ? What is first day sale? 19.04.2011 playbook summary?

I think it will take quite a while before reliable numbers are reported.  Be patient, and for questions like this prefer CrackBerry.com or some other site, as this isn't really a development-related question.  (I know, everyone, developers are interested in these numbers, but that doesn't make it a development-related question.  Other forums are better.)

  • How to get the date of first day of a week for a given date

    Hi gurus
    can any one say me how to get the date of first day(date of Sunday) of a week for a given date in a BW transformations. For example for 02/23/2012 in source i need to get 02/19/2012(Sunday`s date) date in the result. I can get that start date of a week using  BWSO_DATE_GET_FIRST_WEEKDAY function module. But this function module retrieves me the  start date as weeks monday(02/20/2012) date. But i need sundays(02/19/2012) date as the start date. So it would be really great if anyone sends me the solution.
    Thanks
    Rav

    Hi,
    The simplest way would be to subtract 1 from the date date which you are already getting in transformation routine, but instead of doing that subtraction manually which might need bit of errort, you can simply use another FM to subtract 1 from given date.

  • How to select last year's first day

    Hi friends,
    How to get the last year's first day using sysdate as on sysdate
    this gives the current year's start date
    I need last year's start date like 01-jan-2010 as on sysdate
    thanks

    Another:
    SQL> select trunc(sysdate-365.25,'YYYY') from dual;
    TRUNC(SYSDATE-365.25
    01-JAN-2010 00:00:00Note: the .25 accounts for this query being run on the last day of a leap year e.g.
    SQL> select trunc(date '2012-12-31'-365.25,'YYYY') from dual;
    TRUNC(DATE'2012-12-3
    01-JAN-2011 00:00:00Edit: Note, this still isn't completely accurate and could give a wrong result. Better solution is to use the add_months function.

    Hi!
    I'm considering MONDAY as the first working day of the current week. And, the code is accordingly --
    SQL> select to_char(sysdate - to_number(decode(to_char(sysdate,'DY'),'TUE','1',
      2                               'WED','2',
      3                               'THU','3',
      4                               'FRI','4')),'dd-mon-yyyy') res
      5  from dual;
    RES
    02-apr-2007Regards.

  • I work night shift, how do I change what time my day starts?

    I work nights so my "day" starts in the late afternoon.  It is weird when Siri tells me my day starts early at 5 am when that is more like the end of my "day".  How do I change the calendar and Siri so something in the evening is the first thing on my agenda?

    Chris CA wrote:
    You don't.
    The day still starts and ends at midnight, regardless of you personal work hours.
    No kidding.  How do I stop the notification center/Siri from talking about things late in my personal work hours as if they are first thing I'm going to do?  For example, Notification Center says "Your day starts early tomorrow.  There are 3 events scheduled, and the first one starts at 3:30 AM."  That's the middle of my "afternoon" and I've already done other things since waking up.  How do I get my phone to treat it like that?

  • How do i check what time of day i logged into firefox?

    I want to view the current and previous times that I have logged onto firefox

    There's no "login" for Firefox. Firefox doesn't keep a log of when it is opened and closed. An "update log" is about it as far as "logging".
    You can view dates /times that web pages were last visited in browsing history, and you can see the last time that Firefox was closed by viewing the OS date / time stamp on certain files in the Firefox Profile folder - the files with the newest date / time.

    Hi,
    OMG! How bizzarre, another quirk of the "Region Fortmats" setting.
    *Settings > General > International > Region Format*
    If I set mine to U.K. (where I happen to live), Monday is apparently the first day of the week on the calendar and I have no 12/24 hour clock option.
    If set to U.S., Sunday is the first day and the 12/24 hour clock option is available.
    I guess changing the Region is your answer.
    How odd! Not to say irritating.

  • First day of year and next monday of the year

    Dear all;
    Given a year, how do you determine the very first day of that year and the next two mondays for that year...

    NEXT_DAY(trunc(SYSDATE), 'MON') next_mondayis the next Monday after today. (You may not need TRUNC in the example above.)
    For the Monday after January 1 of this year:
    NEXT_DAY ( TRUNC (SYSDATE, 'YEAR')
             , 'Monday'
             )If the year happens to begin on a Monday, this will return Jaunary 8, the 2nd Monday of the year; otherwise, it will be the 1st Monday of the year.
    For the 2nd Monday after New Year's Day, add 7 to the expression above.

  • DSO Analysis (Days Sales Outstanding) report

    Hey All,
    How do I configure or activate DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) Report?
    If I go to transaction S_ALR_87012167. I get " No Evaluation Exist."
    In the DSO calculation, by default it takes 30 days in a period, Can I change the no of days in the period for the DSO calculation?
    Please help me start this report.
    Thank you.
    Sincerely,
    Rohan

    In order to run this report, you must have the Financial Information System configured.  Then run transaction F.29 to create the evaluation.  F.30 will then display the evaluations.

  • On my iPad 3, how do I make calendar items lasting more than one day appear as such on the monthly view of my calendar? Right now only the first day of the item appears.

    On iPad 3, all of my calendar items lasting more than one day do not appear correctly when looking at the monthly view of the calendar; only the first day of the appointment appears. For example, if I am taking a vacation for 4 days, only the first day of the vacation is marked on the calendar, instead of being listed on all 4 days. When I look at the weekly view, however, it is correct and is listed on all 4 days. The problem here of course is that at a glance, there is no way to look at my monthly schedule. On my iPhone, everything is correct, regardless of month or week view, so clearly this is an iPad problem I guess? Please advise on how this can be corrected. Thank you!

    Unfortunately you can't do what you want. Many people have complained to Apple about this. I suggest you provide Apple feedback directly at http://www.apple.com/feedback/macosx.html. They will not provide a direct response but hopefully if enough people provide feedback Apple will fix this.

  • How to find first day of the year

    Big picture: trying to determine how many pay periods are left in the year. There are 52 weeks in a year, and our company pay out each week.
    The first pay week of the year always starts on a Friday. So If Janurary 1 is a friday, then the 1st week of pay period starts that week. If Jan 1 is a Thursday, then the first pay week will start on Janurary 2.
    I need to figure out what day the first day of any year it is. By day, i mean Mon, Tue, Wed, Thur, Fri, Sat, or Sun.
    Then when I figure out what day it is, i will write an if/then statement saying if Jan 1 is a monday, then add 4 days to that date and that will be the first day of a pay period.
    Then when i figure out the first day of the first week, I wanted to add 7 days to create week2, week3.... week 52.
    Then take todays date and if it was between week x and week y, then it would determine that z many pay periods are left...
    is this the best way to go about this? anything easier?

    You can use the getDay method of a Date object to determine the day of the week. Any decent JavaScript reference will have more information.

  • Hi Can anyone explain how the abaper's first day will be in office

    Hi all,
    Thank you very much to all of you ..
    I have got a job in Texas..
    Can anyone let me know .. how the real time work will be ..
    I mean how the first day will be...
    Wht are the necessary things to be prepared...
    Wht are the topics i need to concentrate on....
    Kindly respond this is the problem of my life...
    Thanks and Regards

    I have to say it really depends on the position you are being hired for.. if it is a brand new implementation, you will have a fairly smooth learning curve.. like what was mentioned in the previous post.. but if they need you to fix something that is broken, the client will expect something right away.. I have been to a place where the Manager logged me in on her user id & just showed a couple of screens & what she expected me to do.. I was literally on my own within an hour, entering their premises..this is not to scare you.. but just that be mentally prepared if you are going to a client that has already been using SAP for a while.. expect fairly knowledgeable colleagues.. if you can show you some result in the first few days, then you automatically win their trust..
    Good Luck,

  • How can I find what apple ID I used to register my iMac when I first booted up? I am being told that by using this ID I will be able to go on to the App store and down load iPhoto at no cost. Is this true? My iMac does not have iPhoto resident on it now

    How can I find what apple ID I used to register my iMac when I first booted up? I am being told that by using this ID I will be able to go on to the App store and down load iPhoto at no cost. Is this true? My iMac does not have iPhoto resident on it now and I only purchased my new iMac in December 2012
    Thanks....

    Launch Keychain Access and click on Login in the left hand pane and then on Passwords.  Next do search for Apple in the search field at the top and click on Apple ID Authenicication in the list that comes up.  That will give you the ID no. and password.

  • The old calender iOS6, in the year view, it shows how much busy I am in a day by indicating the color intensity. But the new calendar year view is totally useless!!! also too bright!! Why apple does this?? What is the way to revert the calendar back???

    Unfortunately, that's the way the cookie crumbles nowadays. Sir Jony Ive's GUI design for iOS7 has been met with much skepticism (to say the least). But until the company sees the compelling need for an adjustment or reversal, it "ain't happenin' ". So amble over to the feedback page ( http://www.apple.com/feedback/ ) and make your displeasure known to the company, OR make it known by not purchasing its products. Because as long as the iGadgets continue selling as fast as they can make them, they will see no need for change.
    BTW, do note you are NOT talking to Apple here. This is just a user-to-user forum.
    Edit: for now, you can also try out any of the alternate calendaring apps available in the App Store.

  • How to get first day of calendar week ?

    hi,
    i'm storing some calendar weeks in my database. for example 30/2013.
    How can i get the first day of this week (monday)? in this case it is 22.07.2013
    thx
    Anja

    As far as I know we don't have a function that converts week of a year into date. So you can try something like this.
    SQL> with t
      2  as
      3  (
      4  select '30/2013' week_year
      5    from dual
      6  )
      7  select min(dt) week_start_day
      8    from (
      9           select (level - 1) + to_date('01-01-' || substr(week_year, -4), 'dd-mm-yyyy') dt
    10                ,  week_year
    11             from t
    12          connect
    13               by level <=  to_date('31-12-' || substr(week_year, -4), 'dd-mm-yyyy') -
    14                            to_date('01-01-' || substr(week_year, -4), 'dd-mm-yyyy') +1
    15         )
    16   where to_number(to_char(dt, 'iw')) = to_number(substr(week_year, 1, instr(week_year, '/')-1));
