  • How the Purchase Price determination process works in sap-mm?

    Hi,
Can anybody tell in detail or have step by step document on  Purchase Price determination process?
    Thanks,
    Pradip

    Hi,
You can go for pricing manually or automatic. If you need pricing automatic you have to go for use of Access Sequences and Schema Group of Vendor. You can customize your pricing procedure according to your requirement such as like Domestic, Import and Stock transport.
For the above individually you have to configure Pricing Procedure and the following steps are:
    SPRO->MM->Purchasing->Conditions->Define Price determination process
    1. Define Condition Table:
    2.Define Access Sequence,
    3.Define Condition Type,
    4.Define Calculating Schema,
5.Assign Calculation Schema, Access Sequence and Condition Type,
    6.Define Schema Group Of Vendor,
    7. Define Schema Group Of Purchasing Organization,
8.Assign Schema Group Of Vendor to Purchasing Organization,
9.Assignment of Schema Group Of Vendor ,Schema Group Purchasing Organization and Calculation Schema.
    10. Assign Vendor to Schema Group of Vendor (XK02)
    11.Maintain Condition record (MEK1)
after above steps, you can go for create PO in ME21N.
In the case of Import PO, you have to activate Import PO.
SPRO->Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Foreign Trade/Customs ->Control Foreign Trade Data in MM and SD Documents -

  • How can this Business scenerio be mapped in SAP

    Hi,
Company creates an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) for a material or Service.
Say it is for a Material (Eg: A/c).
Company enters into an AMC with their customer stating that only 4 free services will be rendered against AMC and from there on, the extra services performed will be on chargeable basis against the AMC.
    Regards,
    K S Srinivas Reddy

    Hi,
This is a standard scenario of SAP PM and SAP CS Module.
    1) The A/C will be created as a equipment master.
    2) In the equipment master, the warranty period and the history of the services happened will be available.
    3) When an PM order or a service order is created which will triger a PR and a corresponding PO considering the activity types of the service order.
    4) The item category and the material type ( DIEN ) combination along with the warranty status maintained in Equipment status will determine the material as Chargeable and non chargeable basis.

  • How do we add a link to process map on the desk manual web page?

Hi: The Tutor demo I used shows a hyperliink to process flows and one can drill down to see the connections between the processes at a high level so the auditor to navigate the different processes and sub-processes. Is there somewhere in the documentation that can show me how to include this? I created a process map document, using the steps in the documentation, saved it with the prefix RE and published it, created a new index, but sadly I can't seem to get a link to this on the main web page. Also when I click the hyperlinks on the Process flow doc, I get a web page error although I used a valid PR doc name. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Is there any additional documentation on publishing the maps and displaying them on the web pages? Thanks so much, Heather

Hi Emily: I'm finding it difficult to understand how the SR suggestions answer my inquiry. Is there any way you can take a look at SR 3-7354806811? , Heather

  • How to Map in SAP      ?

    Hi
My client is Automobile industry. In the presales process my company delivers the goods to the dealer. On transit the goods are damaged.Instead of returning the goods the dealer him self repairs the goods and sends the credit memo to the company. The company will send the engineer for inspection and give the clearance certificate for the dealer. With reference to this we have to create the credit the customer.
    How to Map it SAP....?
    Plz send me the reply
    Regard's
    Prasad.

    Dear Prasad,
As you r not taking d goodS back (or dealer is not sending them back) thus it's not a case of a Returns. Also there is no issue with d invoice either thus even Invoice Corrrection Request will not b generated.
Thus it's a simple case of creating a Credit Memo Request for the required amount i.e the amount claimed 2 b spent by d dealer. This will obviously have a block which can b removed by d engineer who went for inspection (or some1else depending on d working of d organisation). Once the billing block is removed the dealer can b issued a Credit Memo in d usual way.
    Hope it answers ur query.
    regards

    Hi Torpedotown,
Can you tell me what version of FlexRIO Adapter Module Support you are using?
The 5761 Low Speed CLIP has a constraint that doesn't work properly with some versions of the compilation tools.  In order to solve this you should be able to upgrade to our latest version of FAM support, or go change the constraint manually.
For the latest version of FAM support, go to http://ni.com/info and enter code "famsoftware"
If you've modified constraint files before and feel comfortable doing it yourself, let me know and I can provide you with the details on how to do that.
    Thanks!

Two things, one teleatlas also provide map data and secondly I would have thought it was nokia that could tell me when new maps were avaiable via maploader not navteq...?
Companies like Teleatlas and Navteq buy in map data from the various national organisations in order to make their digital mapping. Companies producing sat-nav equipment (including Nokia) buy in that digital data for their products.
Nokia is in the process of taking over Navteq, but the company is still run independently, so no - Nokia customer care staff cannot tell you when updated map data will be available because they get new information from Navteq when it becomes available and incorporate it into their products as soon as possible afterwards.

  • Rework process mapping in to SAP

    Hi All,
I have a issue of mapping rework process  in to SAP. I want to map Rework process in the following way.
Initially when the Finished product is manufactured and final GR  is done product goes to quality inspection stock. Quality People inspect the product if it fails they reject it and move the qty to blocked stock during Usage decision. Now production people manually create the rework order with newly created order type and qty will be same as blocked qty. After that in the rework production order they go to components delete the components which are not required and also delete operations which are not performed manually and save the order. Now components which are required are gets issued from warehouse and rework activity takes place. After the completion of activity they confirm the order with the final yield. But now issue is how to move the blocked stock to unrestricted use stock so that inspection lot gets generated by which quality people again inspect the stock and after inspection post it to unrestricted use stock and also how to account for yield difference.
I want to know is this mapping is fine and how to resolve end issue of moving blocked stock to quality stock.
    Thanks
    Vinamrath

    Dear,
you can do it like this:
Transfer Posting of Material from Blocked to Quality
After Rework is done, material from blocked stock will be transfer to Quality stock for inspection.
    Transaction Code MB1B
    Movement Type 349
    Enter material code, and quantity.
Stock of Material is transferred to Quality Stock from Blocked stock
It will help you. Revert back for more information

  • How to Import exported mapping in SAP XI

    Hello

    Thanks
    Chaitanya

    Hi,
If u import any objects then ur file be .tpz extension. I m surprised how ur file extension is .xim extension.
have u followed the same process which is mentioned below:
    1) tools->export->select->FTP/CMS-> selct whole SWCV,individual objects,namespace and finish.
after whole process it will give the .tpz file name u need to take the file from that FTp server and u need to follow the reverse process in IR.
    Import:
    tools->import->ans go on.
    Refer the link for process.

  • SAP business process maps for mySAP ECC6.0?

Any idea how we can get the SAP business process maps for mySAP ECC6.0?  Is this imbedded in Solution Manager?
    Thanks,
    Phani

    Hello Phani,
I suppose you are looking for the solution maps for mySAP ERP (which contains SAP ECC as a component). These maps are not contained in the SAP Solution Manager, but they are delivered with the SAP Solution Composer, an offline PC tool which allows you to browse and pre-scope your own solution (evaluating your solution). The tool itself including the latest solution map content is always available for download at the SAP Service Marketplace:
    <a href="http://service.sap.com/s-composer">http://service.sap.com/s-composer</a>
You can also view the mySAP ERP - as part of the cross-industry maps -  right here:
    <a href="http://service.sap.com/form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000338980&">http://service.sap.com/form/sapnet?_SHORTKEY=01100035870000338980&</a>
The SAP Solution Manager would then come into play for configuring the respective processes (implementing you solution).
