How many photos and songs do you have on your nano?

I have 1851 photos and 337 songs so far! Just curious.

what kind of photos do you put on it?!?! i would like to add pictures, but i dont know of what kind of pictures to add
2 days old... 118 songs, 13 pictures (haha 2 cartoons images due to boredom, and some of friends)

I have a 32GB Touch with the newest software i think 2.1, and have purchased a lot of programs/games and such. I noticed when i installed over 144 apps on it the new ones i install do not show up. I have 9 pages on it, can you have more then 9 pages or have more the 144 apps installed at one time? When i purchase one on itunes or on th touch it looks like they dont install because i can not turn to the 10th page on the touch but if i delete an app and power it off and power it back on it will appear in the area where i deleted the previous app...So is the a limit on how many programs you can have on the touch? Or is something going on? Ive tried reinstalling everything and starting from scratch but it does the same thing everytime...So any ideas? Thanks in advance

exactly when you say "most" that isn't all, and we should have the ability to install all the apps/games that we want...I don't want to have to decide before I go out or on a trip which games i think i might wanna play...I think apple really needs to change its thinking on this. All other platforms of PDA type devices do not limit you on how many applications you can have installed, its only limited on the amount of storage you have. So if we have 32GB of storage we should be able to use that amount for more apps

Are you using iTunes Match or syncing through iTunes on a computer? I do not use iTunes Match but it is relatively easy to maintain content on an iOS device through it's sync settings in iTunes. iCloud itself does not manage content on an iOS device but adding on the paid iTunes Match will only manage music. For the most part iCloud just keeps certain data, such as Notes, Contacts, Calendars..., in sync between iOS devices and/or computer.
To manage Music and Photos syncing from your computer connect the iPad to the computer and open iTunes. Click the iPad's, or Device button in the top right section of iTunes. You will see the the different media categories along the top where you can select Photos to manage what iPhoto syncs.
There is also many options in the Music and Video tabs to customize the media syncing to the iPad. It is generally best to create playlists in iTunes and sync selected playlists to manage a large music library.

1- How many max connections per torrent do you have set up?
2- How many max opened connections do you have in mldonkey (or similar)?

AFAIK it's arround (total connections):
- <5 for RTC
- <100 for slow ADSL
- <500 for medium ADSL
- ~1000 for high-speed ADSL (and max on Windows lol) ; went up to over 1500, without positive change.
I use rtorrent & have a limit of <100 connections per torrent (4 leechers max per torrent so they get something)

Where do I see how many photos (and movies) are in my Revel library?

I see no place that states how many photos or movies are in Revel.

Thanks for the reply...but here's the status:
A.
I'm in the Revel program downloaded on my desktop...not on its web site...and I made an album but can't find any place where it shows the number of photos in that album.
As I view Mel's Library page and go to: View/Added By there is a total in the upper left corner that shows the total photos Added by ME.
But when viewing photos in my library: View/ All Photos by Date in either Grid or Track there is no total anywhere on the page. Each track has it's total and that's it.
I don't understand how Revel ID's a Duplicate.
A window, Skipped Photos, pops up and states, "X photos were duplicates" indicating that they were not uploaded - and that is supported by the math (in 3 out of 5 uploads): Selected photos minus Videos and Dupes = # of photos uploaded.
However, on the last upload of 2000 Selected photos, the window said there were 2 duplicates. I counted 19 identical photos! Also without Revel identifying what the dupes actually were (by its reckoning) I have no way of determining what was not uploaded. All VERY confusing.
When uploading using the download program on my laptop Revel won't upload videos.

I went to the website and yes, when I click on the album it shows the photo count at the bottom. However, in order to get to the bottom of 10,000+ photos in the Library is a major and lengthy process as clicking on the side bar only takes me down a few photos with each click...and not to the end! There's no way to easily get to the bottom! Scrolling the photos is equally slow and useless when all I'm trying to see is the total count! click on Sort oldest 1st and the newest go to the top! and the reverse is true of the other!

You aren't losing any time in that mode, but I believe it is a 10 second fade out/fade in.

How many videos and songs

Okay, I have a question for all of you. I have a choice to buy either the 60 or the 30GB iPod. Which one should I buy? I would only have a majority of 2,000 songs on there. How many movies would that leave me to put on there, if I am speaking of the 30GB? Help! Thanks!

For what it's worth, I have about 1300 songs and 6 full-length movies on my 16 GB Touch, and it has plenty of room left.
The songs take 4.8 GB and the movies 3 GB. With apps, etc. I have almost 6 GB left. If I had a 32 GB device, I'd have about 22 GB remaining. If six movies take three GB, then 22 GB should hold around 44 movies, for a total of 50.
Of course, it all depends on the size of the movies. If you don't rip them yourself, you may find that they are much larger than 0.5 GB each. And if you're talking about TV shows, they should be much smaller.

If you have sync'd / transferred the songs to iTunes prior to the restore (they would be listed under iTunes Store or within your library if so) then you can easily sync these across. If, however, you don't you will need to get in contact with iTunes Store Support so as that they can look at possibly reauthorising a download of them for you.
As an aside, with any purchases you ever make regularly backup and transfer the purchases from your device to your computer. That way you shouldn't lose them

How many pods and layouts can I have open at the same time?

I am planning on using Adobe Connect for a virtual brainstorming session..
I am going to take a slide deck with about 60 slides, and chop it up into 8 different sections, roughly 7-8 slides in each, which will be in a new layout. About 10 layouts in total.
To delay the load time when switching from one layout to another, I want to know if I can keep all 8 Content Pods open in each layout, so that when I switch, it simply brings up the already loaded pod, instead of closing the previous and loading each one when I change layouts. Is this going to make the entire session slow by having all this content on screen (Hidden behind the active pod) ? Or am I on to something here?

I believe you determined that only one layout can be active at any given time. So, on to the pods question.
I would do it exactly as you have described. The initial layout may show longer load time, due to the amount of content that must be loaded, but changing between layouts should be very quick, as all the content is already loaded on each individual's computer, it is just a matter of brining the correct presentation to the front. With 7-8 slides per presentation, I don't think I'd worry that much about the initial load time either.
Of course, always do some testing on multiple computers to get an idea of how things will go in the live session, but I'd say run with the idea of 'hiding' pods to keep the transition time minimized.

Appassure Users - How many Repositories and Locations do you use?

For those using AppAssure, how many repositories do you use per Core? Just 1 per core or more than that? Also, how many storage locations do you use (even if they are all on the same physical disk)?I ask because we were using just one repository on our backup Core, but over time we've needed to increase the size of it by adding storage locations (we add them in a folder with numbered subfolders per new "location"). We decided to add 200GB at a time as needed when we first deployed so now we've ended up with about a dozen or so "locations" of about 200 GB each on the same local drive.The reason I'm asking is we've cleaned up some large sets of files from some of the protected machines (in one case, reduced used space by about 75%) and would like to reclaim some of the space on the backup server the repository is currently using but...

How many airport base station can you have at one time?

I currently have a abse and a abs dual ethernet. My set up is the cable is connected to the abse sending out g. The abs is daisy chain and sending out b. My c2d machine is communicating with the abse using g and my old G4 is communicating with the abs using b. I am doing this because I do not want the abse to communicate at b. When I go out to get the new n abse will I be able to add on to this or will I be or am I already wasting time and money. I just do not want any abs to downgrade to b. Any ideas or suggestions will be great.

If you add the new AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBS) to your current configuration, you can set it up so that you have three separate (b/g/n) wireless networks. Each would have it's own Network Name (SSID) and set to only operate at their own specific 802.11 standard. To work the Base Station connected to the Internet source would be set up as a router, and the others in "bridge" mode.
Now, if you attempt to connect a non-n wireless client to the "n" network, it will degrade the performance a bit, but not down to either "g" or "b" level. This would be true of the "g" network as well.

How many IDs and Passwords do I have?

I'm confused with the different IDs and passwords used in my new mac life. There's itunes, the computer itself, discussions, imac.....
Are there really that many different setups? The only ones I'm sure I can get my arms around are discussions (I'm here, right?) and the computer itself since sometimes I'm asked for to install programs.
Is my iTunes password the same as discussion? How about .mac?

By profession I am an Software Developer recently I joined a small company and it came with bunch of other task and duties.
One is upgrading all the computers in the company to the latest 10.8 Mountain Lion version.
Now I know I need an Apple ID to buy the upgrade online but my question is that I have to create like 21 apple ID for the 21 computers or can i create one and use the same one on all computers to buy the 21 copies of Mountain Lion.
Because if I need to create 21 one ids I will need 21 email ids too.

You need to contact Apple volume licensing for businesses, find it in the link that I'm giving to you. The licensed copy end user license agreement for the Mac App Store is for consumers only, you should not use them for business computers.
