What dowes the screen say? If it just say disable and gives not time to retry then you have to restore the iPod
Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

At what point can I ask Apple for a replacement iMac?Unless the machine is covered by AppleCare you don't stand much chance. However with AppleCare normally 3x and they'll replace it. My suggestion is get AppleCare which will extend the warranty to 3 years and also include telephone support.
If you don't want to purchase AppleCare then you can always call Customer Relations and plead the case. In the US that number is 800-767-2775 outside the US I have no idea. You would need to call AppleCare and ask them. Remember you have a human being on the other side so be organized, have exact dates, receipts and all other data with you and above all be pleasant, polite and peristent.

I tried to install latest version of itunes on my PC now the program doesn't start at all. I remove and reinstalled the program 5 times and I still get ERROR 7 (Windows 126) and failure to start because MSVCR80.dll is missing. Is there a simple fix?

Does anyone know how many times a newly purchased product (MB Air 2014) can be exchanged within the 14 day period? I feel like the MB Pro would be a better fit for me, so I wanted to exchange my Air for the Pro. But also, if I end up not liking the Pro and want to go back to an Air, would I be permitted to do so with another exchange? (all still within the 14 day window after purchase of course).
Also, are there any specifics I need to know in order to return my product and get a new one? Obvioulsy, I would be sure to remove all of my personal files, music, etc...but is there anything else I need to do?
And lastly, and im sure this question is irritating to you Mac wiz kids out there, but are the two models im comparing really all that different? I just cant make up my mind and would love some pointers/suggestions/tips/info to help me figure out what model is best for me (the apple employee that was helping me in the store was actually not that helpful at all, if they were I wouldnt have to ask this question on a discussion board). I do tons of multimedia things and download and enjoy music, tv shows, movies, all that stuff..and I used to love to burn dvds and cds (obviously cant do that with the MB Air now which totally bummed me out ). Which model does anyone think I should stick with? Id greatly appreciate some opinions! Really tho, help me out ppls! I'd love some helpful advice! I sometimes have problems making big/important/expensive decisions lol I just really want to make sure i am getting the best model for all of my daily tasks and all of the things i actually do regularly on my computer.
Oh, last lastly- I cant afford anything more than a 13" STANDARD MacBook Pro at the moment...soooo the Retina display is unfortunately not an option for me.

ThanksJust play with each and figure out which one you want. I believe they only allow 1 exchange unless it is a defect issue. You can always return the exchanged item and rebuy what you want if they will not allow you to do multiple exchanges.
But again, you need to really figure out which one you want. -

There isn't a phone number for iTunes Support.

Click "Manage your account"
When prompted, sign in using your Apple ID and password.
Click Password & Security
You'll be asked to answer 2 of your 3 security questions before you can make any modifications. If you are unable to remember your answers, you can choose to send an email to your rescue email to reset your security questions.
After you've validated your identity by correctly answering your security questions, click Edit to the right of your rescue email address.
Once you've finished editing your rescue email address, click the Save button directly below the email field.

2. iPhone, iPad, iPod touch: Wrong passcode results in red disabled screen

If you have forgotten your Restrictions code, then follow the instructions
below but DO NOT restore any previous backup. If you do then you will
simply be restoring the old Restrictions code you have forgotten. This
same warning applies if you need to restore a clean system.
A Complete Guide to Restore or Recover Your iDevice (if You Forget Your Passcode)
If you need to restore your device or ff you cannot remember the passcode, then you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and re-sync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. Hi, i just want to know if theres any way to just stop the erase all data and settings for my iphone 3gs it has been 4 hours and it still havent finished yet, still showing the black screen with an apple icon. Something has gone wrong, on an iPhone 3Gs the erase all operation should be instantaneous. Disconnect your phone & force it into recovery mode:
Turn your phone off. Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. If you still don’t see the recovery message repeat these steps again. iTunes will give you the option to restore from a backup or set up as new. In your case, select "new". -

My HD died on my iMac. I replaced it and lost everything that was on it. I found my source disks from my original purchase for Final Cut Express HD 3.5. I now have Maverick ISO and it will not let me load my software so I can continue my film work. How do I get it too recover it without paying for it again since I paid for it already and have projects in progress that need to be completed?
1) Partition your hard drive or add an external drive and install Snow Leopard (with the Optional Rosetta) into it and then you can dual-boot (System Preferences:Startup Disk) into Snow Leopard and run FCE 3.5 there.
2) Use one of the following methods to install FCE 3.5 into Mavericks:

Reports on this forum seem to confirm that Final Cut Studio 2 will continue to operate in Mavericks once it is functionally installed, albeit some plug-ins may fail to function. FCE 3.5 is the same generation as FCS2, and presumably will continue to operate in Mavericks, as well. -

SO WHAT'S THE PROBLEM.?I did my daughters w.o. Credit card but they won't let me have same option on iPad 1 I guess I should try from of but idk if it'll make difference,also they apple won't let me update any of my apps..WTH? And one more question how do I take ( uninstall app/ games ) from iPad? I got free games from app store and after three levels u get into games then they want u to purchase the rest of the game? Dammm no more..idk how to take these games off my iPad don't want them ain't paying to finish games...thanks anyone who can help!!!OHH

I have a shuffle. When I plug it into Itunes, it tells me that it has not been ejected properly, and it will not recognize the Ipod. I have turned off the computer, and tried this with another shuffle with the exact same results. Any ideas?
Do you remeber the exact (or close to it) wording of the error message?
Try manually placing the iPod in Recovery mode and then try to restore
Next try DFU mode.

I have just received a new iphone 5s and need to set the Apple ID with my work email. I used my work email on my personal iphone 4s to set up an icloud account and it will not let me use this email as the Apple ID on my new iphone. As it is a work phone I need to use this email address as my Apple ID. How do I do this?
