So, I've got iLive'08 and cannot register. The registration process includes a request for a "Marketing Part Number." ***. Where the **** is it? What is it? And, why is it required for registration? And, do I need to register to use this software? And, why not simply pick up my registration for the previous version of iLife?

You miean MBO16Z/A? The registration process didn't accept that. I tried all the numbers on the box in all sorts of combinations. All failed. But, okay, I won't register. I also couldn't find any help at the Apple support area on their Web site. Hmmm...

How the **** do you reset the security questions? And how do you add a backed up library to a new computer?

So I have a couple issues and I am extremely frustrated, I'm about to smash all of my apple products.
First issue is how do you reset the security questions? Can't seem to find the "forgot answer" of anything like that.
Second is my old comp crashed so I backed up my iTunes to an external HD, got the file on the new computer, installed iTunes, got alot of my old music from iCloud, but didn't get all my music so I went to add a folder like the support thing I found said, but there's only an add file option, do I have to add each song?
Is there a way to get the songs from my iPhone to the iTunes library? It has all of my music on it as well

For the security questions......
On your computer or safari on your iOS device navigate to:
          For Canada - https://appleid.apple.com/ca.
          For United States - https://appleid.apple.com/us/.
Click the "Manage your Apple ID" button, and sign in to your iCloud account. Once in, on the left side select "Password and Security", and this will populate our options on the right side. You should see an option to reset your security questions.
Also see this article about your "rescue email address" - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312.
If for any reason you can not reset these security questions, or get an error, then you may need to contact Apple directly - http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57.   Explain the issue, and they can get your to a "Account Security" agent, who will be able to verify your identity, and assist in resetting the security questions.

How the **** do you screen share Tiger outside a local network?

I am, for my sins, in Germany trying to work out how I can remote administer my dad's iMac running Tiger 10.4.11 which is all the way across the continent in merry old England. I know there are options under Sharing in System Preferences that you need to select to enable screen sharing in Tiger, but apart from that I don't have the first idea how I would access his machine using Snow Leopard on my MacBook Pro.
Can someone please at least point me in the direction of a good tutorial?

When you connect your iPad to your iMac and open iTunes, are you clicking on the iPad from the left side of the iTunes screen to open it in iTunes? The Info button is on a row on the right hand side of the iTunes screen, but is only viewable when the iPad is opened in iTunes.

Iheart radio application does not stay running in the background. Do any radio apps?? How do you make an app stay running in the background when you open a different application??

What iPhone do you have? Also, the app has to be written to include multitasking, so the app might not have been updated to support it yet.

in order to do this you have to answer security questions
herein lies my problem
its asks for my date of birth
i enter it and it is not recognised
therefore i can't reset my account information
anybody know what to do next

Before you sell or give away your computer, in addition to the steps mentioned in this support article, take these steps:
Run Apple Diagnostics or the Apple Hardware Test. The buyer will do this (or he should), and you don't want to be surprised by the results.
Reset the PRAM and the SMC, which might contain personal information.
If you set a firmware password, remove it by running Firmware Password Utility in Recovery mode.
If you activated FileVault in OS X 10.7 or later, turn it off.
If you use Boot Camp, the partition must be deleted
If you created any other data partitions on the internal drive, remove them in Disk Utility.
Erase the data partition(s) with the option to zero out data. An SSD doesn't need to be zeroed.
You can't legally or practically transfer any software downloaded from the Mac App Store to the new owner of the machine, even if it was free. That includes OS X, so if you upgraded to OS X 10.7 or later, you must reinstall an older OS, either from the installation media, if applicable, or by booting into Internet Recovery (option-command-R at the startup chime.) If you installed from physical media, deliver those to the new owner.
If you're selling the machine, or donating it in working order, and it originally shipped with OS X 10.4 or 10.5, then you have the option of installing either from the discs that came with it or from a retail Snow Leopard disc (which you must then transfer with the machine.) How do you register iLife software that came preloaded on an iMac (I cannot seem to locate the Marketing Part Number) on the DVD?

I just purchased an iMac with iLife and iWork preloaded.
I wanted to register the software, but I cannot seem to locate the Marketing Part Number (MPN). Help states the MPN is located on the product packaging near the barcode. I can locate the barcode on the sleeve of the disc, but the MPN does not seem to be there. Help states it starts with a letter and has the format M#####/#. I have tried to enter each set of numbers shown, but all are invalid.

You registered it when you registered the computer. Apple software bundled with a Mac can't be registered separately from it; that service is for standalone purchases only.
