Hi ,
you need to choose the second option .
First option will remove all the domains users from the local administrator group available in all the PC'S .Then local administrator group will only have the users updated on the members list present in group policy.
Note : Local admins accounts on the local administrators groups will not be removed.
Second option will add the newly created group to the local administrator group in all the PC'S and it will not remove the existing members in the local administrators group.
Step 1 : Just try to create one new group for SCCM management .
Step 2 : Then add the SCCM account to that group.
Step 3 : Then please create a new group policy on that just choose the second option.On that option just add the newly created group to be an member of administrator group in all the PC'S
Why i have asked you to create a new group ?
Because in second option , we don't have a option to add a individual user .
Once you have created a group policy it will like below snap.
As an additional i will tell how to find the newly created group policy is applying to computer objects or not ans also i will tell you how to force update the group policy
1.gpresult /r ----> To find the which group policy is applying on user and computer object .
2.rsop.msc ----> There you can able to find the change has been applied or not .
3.gpupdate /force -----> Forcefully updating the group policy in a client machine
4.In gpmc.msc there is one option called group policy results .That option will be used for centralized management to find the policies that are applied to a user and computer account.
5.Just check the event viewer in all the PC'S for group policy related events.
Most importantly you need to make sure all the computer accounts are placed in an ou ,where the newly created group policy is applying and also make sure that OU doesn't contain any inheritance block.

How to add swing components in an applet

hello friends;
I encounterd one problem that is I created one applet which I derived from JApplet and now I want to add some swing components to that applet. I added them properly and when I am testing my applet in Appletviewer it is working fine but when I tested it in internet explorer it is not working. Please help me overcome this problem

IE does not support swing if you do not have the java-plugin installed. Either install that, then IE can display Swing components - or use AWT which can be displayed by IE.

How to add labview frontpanel into visual studio

I'd like to add the whole frontpanel of my simple labview programm into the frontpanel of my visual studio programm.
I allready created the DLL and added it to my visual studio programm, and now, I'd like to view the vi frontpanel in my visual studio form.
Is there any possibility to do something like that without using the measurment studio .NET?

Maybe. You could try to get the Windows handle to the LabVIEW front panel using Windows API functions, and also using Windows API functions to parent that window into your application window. It could work but might be quite a tricky and not very stable solution since your Visual Studio application window message loop really is in another context than the LabVIEW runtime engine window, the VI uses.

A setting in visual administrator gets overwritten when a developer publish

Hello
Due to problems with logon groups a SAP consultant told me to uncheck "Add Application Cookie" and "Add Session Cookie" in Visual Administrator -> Cluster -> Server -> Services -> Web Container -> sap.com/home~[my app] -> View -> Main -> "Cookie Configuration". This works fine and solves that problem but instead I get a new one. Every time a developer publish something my setting gets overwritten and I need to uncheck it again, save and then restart the j2ee engine again to make it work.
I can not get in touch with this consultant again (he don't answer any email) and not anyone on my company knows how to set it permanent so I hope any of you know how to set this permanently so I don't have to do this every time a developer does something new.
I use NW 7.0 with patchlevel 109044.44 on HP-UX with IA64. I have the same problem on every server.

We have solved this problem thanks to an employee at my company. The problem was that we didnt have any file called web-j2ee-engine.xml so we created this and set a couple of options in the developers program and then it worked.

Warning while deploying using Visual Administrator

Hi,
I am using SAP MDM 5.5 and XI 7.0 and deploying MDM components using Visual Administrator.
I have deployed the file MDMMatrixServer_1.0.ear successfully.
Now when i am trying to deploy other 2 files i.e. MDMMatrixApp_1.0.ear and Attrib_Import_1.0.ear i get the warning:
"<i>This application hasn't J2EE modules, so it cannot be loaded. Proceeding with deploy</i>."
I tried deploying the files by using both the Server and Application options, but facing the same warning.
Someone plz help me on how should i go with this warning.

JDBC Connector service in visual administrator

Hi All,
JDBC Connector service in visual administrator is not getting start or stopped.
I checked in Visual admiistrator ,then in JDBC Connector. On right click to JDBC Connector, Start or stop options are disabled.
It may be because of wrong configuration,please provide me the solution for this or provide me the configuration settings for JDBC Connector, so that i could recheck.Please tell how to start JDBC Connector from visual administrator services.

On such datasources, for each one there is one .xml entry (the DS definition file)and below that, the datasource settings can be reached. If you mark the first one - the xml definition file - you get a blank screen right-hand, but at the same time, the "Stop" button (tooltip: "Stop Selected Standalone Application"; or the corresponding "Start" button, depending on the DS state) gets clickable.
This does not hold for the preconfigured default DS (which also has no xml entry).

No need to install seaparately ,
check the directory path as mentioned below
<Drive>:\usr\sap\<SAPSID>\<Instance_Name>\j2ee\admin\go.bat
double click go.bat and try login with admin credentials.

How to connect to Visual Administrator?

Hi all!
I want to connect to visual administrator to configure BI JDBC Connector.
However the problem is that i don't know how to launch the Visual administrator.
On the step by step document, it's said that VA can be launched using the file "C:\usr\sap\(sid)\jc00\j2ee\admin\go.bat" but i think it isn't installed on the computer.
So may i have an advice or a way of installing it.

Hi Lahoucine,
have you installed the BI Java components? If not, then there is no Visual Administrator on your server...
If yes, it is located in the folder as you descibed depending on the drive you installes the system (c: or D: or...), the <SID> which is the three-letter SystemID of your SAP system and the folder JCXX where XX is anumber between 00 and 99 (corresponding to the system number of your SAP System).

How to add the SSO Server Administration portlet to portal

I want to use SSO Server Administration portlet ,but when i Navigator to the administer tab .in the portal suntab there is not SSO Server Administration .I want to know why? and how to add the SSO Server Administration portlet to portal.(note:the portal system havn't SSO Server Administration portlet ) .how could i can do it. help !~help!

Please login to Visual Admin using an user id and pwd which has administration authorisation of J2ee engine with the P4 port and go to security provider under cluster configuration and you would find a tab on the right hand side for user management under which you would find an option for creation of users and groups.
