How to adjust the size of a region?

Hello, would anyone know how to adjust the size of a region size?
Thanks for your replies!

Checkout an interesting article called " Oracle9iAS Portal Best Practices: Regions" to understand resizing region.

    How to adjust the size of the slide in keynote to 7.5 feet high x 3.1 feet wide?

    Keynote is not designed to produce printed media, it is set up is for video. There are dozens of applications that are designed for printed output on the Mac, Pages, Word, In design, Quark, Open Office, Libra.
    Pages is the accompanying application in the iWork suite that is specifically designed to print to paper, you should look at that first as it May be on your Mac already.

  • How to adjust the size of the document body in Pages

    Hello all,
    I would like to find out how to change the size of the document body within Pages.
    I encountered this problem when selecting Business Resume from the templates section and after removing the left text box I could not move the main text body to the left, although document margins where set to 0.
    As you can see in the photo the section that says Profile can not be moved to left more than it already is.
    I would appreciate your help
    Thank you

    Several of the Pages 5.5.2 templates are buggy, you have found one of them.
    Create a template from scratch using the Blank tempalte.

  • How to set the size of mutex region?

    I am using a berkeley xml db on a CMS system.
    The server's memory is 562M. When more than 80 users visited the system (without setting the environment configuration of berkeley DB), the berkeley db got the following errors: unable to allocate memory for mutex; resize mutex region.
    Firstly, I set the environment configuration programmatically. I used java class EnvironmentConfig.setMutexIncrement(int) to change the region of mutex. However, the same error still happened event after EnvironmentConfig.setMutexIncrement(200) was used.
    Therefore, I change the cachesize to 1M. But got the same error.
    My config is
    config.setCacheSize(1 * 1024 * 1024);
    config.setAllowCreate(true);
    config.setInitializeCache(true);
    config.setInitializeLocking(true);
    config.setInitializeLogging(true);
    config.setThreaded(true);
    Any help would by gratefully received.
    Best Regards

    Hi Josie,
    The solution is to allocate a bigger number of mutexes to allocate. This can be done by calling DbEnv::mutex_set_max or DbEnv::mutex_set_increment.
    For more details, please check here:
    C++ APIs: http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/xml/api_cxx/mutex_set_max.html
    Java APIs: http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/java/com/sleepycat/db/EnvironmentConfig.html#setMaxMutexes(int)
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/java/com/sleepycat/db/EnvironmentConfig.html#setMutexIncrement(int)
    Please try to apply the above suggestion, and let me know if it works.
    Thanks,

  • When I scan and save a document as a pdf. It is saved as a huge document. How do I adjust the size of a saved pdf?

    I recently purchased a new computer. Now when I scan a document and save it as a pdf document; the size of the file is nearly 10 times the usual size. The size of 2 pages is so large that I can not send as an attachment. How do adjust the size of the pdf document?

    Sending e-documents as email attachments is anyway never a good idea; use a file sharing service (Acrobat.com, Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, ..) to upload the doc, then send the shared download link via email.
    As for the scanned PDF size, see the earlier posts.

    There is obviously a misunderstanding here.
    You have full control over the front panel and you can make all the controls as small or large as you want. In addition, you can also place them wherever you want. It is up to you as the designer to place them how you want. If you want then all to be a few pixels by a few pixels, LabVIEW will allow that. Obviously, a string control that is 3 pixels wide and 2 high is unusable, but you can do it. In addition if you wanted all the controls to over lap that is fine, but again it will most likely be unusable for your user.
    If your question is the mechanics of moving and re-sizing controls, LabVIEW works the same as most products. You need the arrow tool, which you can get from the tools pallette (Windows>> Show Tools Pallette). With that tool you simply click on the control and move it where you want it. To resize it you hover over the borders of the control until you see the little resize squares and then re-size away. This is the same as how you would re-size an object in Word etc.
    If you are simply asking for some examples based on the front panel you attached, we on the forums can move them around and give you examples but we don't know what it is you as the designer or your "customers" want. Therefore anything we do is a shear guess and unlikely to be what you really want. By far the best option is for us to help answer for you the how so that you can create the front panel that you want.
    So can you re-phrase the question or help us understand what it is you want?

  • For the life of me, I can't find out what size a photo is in terms of inches or how to change the size of the photo[s] so I can print them. I think I read somewhere to click edit, then click adjust. Nothing there about sizing.

    For the life of me, I can't find out what size a photo is in terms of inches or how to change the size of the photo[s] so I can print them. I think I read somewhere to click edit, then click adjust. I don't see anything about re-sizing when I click the adjust tab: only saturation and tint levels. Thank you.

    With respect to digital images, there really is no size in inches. The size is given as number of pixels horizontally and vertically. In iPhoto '09 you click the little "i" inthe lower right side of the window and it will display information related to the selected photo, including the pixel dimensions. I do not have iPhoto '11 installed so I don't know if it is the same there.
    In some applications, such as preview, it has something additional called Dots per Inch (DPI) which you would think would allow you to convert the pixel dimensions to inches. It is not a real thing, though. The DPI is determined by how large or small you have chosen to print your photo and the capabilities of your printer.
    There is also something called Aspect Ratio, which is usually expressed in inches x inches such as 6x9 but that doesn't mean the size on the screen or when printed is 6x9.  It is the ratio of the pixel dimensions.  When cropping your photos, you will have several standard aspect ratios to choose from plus any custom ones you create.
    In iPhoto '09, after you choose Print, in the Print Setting window are the settings for the size you want the photo printed. You want to shoose a setting with the same aspect ratio of your photo. Otherwise, iPhoto will resize and/or crop your photo to fit the size you have chosen.

    How to adjust the font size of iPad printout of web pages ?

    In HTML Header I put textDid you mean Page Header Text? It wouldn't have done much of anything at all in the HTML Header...
    However, the font doesn't do anything.Yet another universal selector problem: see +{message:id=4184109}+
    How do I overwrite the style sheet? I am wondering if I change the default style sheet, does that also affect the other pages, which is not what I want. In that case you can just include the CSS inline, which will also get round the universal selector issue. You are also recommended to use a semantic HTML element instead of deprecated presentational elements like <center> and <font>. Assuming this text is the primary heading on the page, use <h1>:
    <img src="#WORKSPACE_IMAGES#my_header_logo_white.jpg" alt="" title="Application" />
    <h1 style="font-size: large; font-weight: bold; text-align: center;">Web Management System</h1>

    If possible how ?

    hi,
    If you change the window size of the script in the original language, it should reflect in the other languages.
    Please activate the script in english once again and see the spanish form again.
    @SAP_WIZ
    As far as chaniging window size is concerned, Please edit your script in ES and then change it.Or login in ES and then edit the script.
    This is not possible, because the original script is in english.

  • How do I adjust the size of program fonts to accommodate low vision users?

    Is it possible to adjust the size of program text to accommodate low vision users, like an enlarge text button or CTRL + zoom text function like in my browser?
    I know I am not the first person to approach this issue.  Since PSE 5 the text sizes have been getting smaller each version and even harder to read, and now that screens are much larger, it makes the menu text even smaller. I predict that by v. 20, users will have to just memorize where to put their cursor to click on a menu item.
    I have already adjusted my system text sizes to 175% but it does no good for PSE, if I use the zoom entire screen, I can only view 1/4 of the workspace at a time. There really should be an easy way to personalize your workspace. I have to reduce my screen resolution to 800x600 and change back to 1920x1080 to view the item in it's intended location each time I edit or create images and cannot work on the document that I am creating or editing a graphic at the same time.  What a huge inconvenience.
    I have resorted to keeping my binoculars next to my computer for just this reason.  Picture it... binoculars to select anything on a menu.  In a way I feel like a prisoner.  Who are the quality control people, anyone that suffers with low vision? The last major problem I had to live with, PSE 10's gray on black! Find the scroll button when your eyes are tired! LOL.
    There are major reasons why I stick to PSE too, so changing programs is not a viable option for me.

    I am assuming that you are on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit.
    Not sure if there is another way, but the way that works for me
    a. right click the computer taskbar, and click on Cascade Windows
    b. in the Premiere Elements Expert workspace, go the the bottom right edge of the workspace view, place the mouse cursor at that point until its tip has a diagonal icon, and then drag upward right to left diagonally to give some view of the desktop where I have the file for the drag and drop into Premiere Elements....then drag and drop the supported file into the Timeline or Project Assets or a drag and drop location.
    Please let us know if that worked for you.
    Thank you.

  • How to adjust the memory size of partition?

    I have the mac os partition and bootcamp partition in my air now. And I installed win7 into the bootcamp for 190G. So I want to adjust the size of bootcamp and enlarge the mac os partition, and create a new partition for using time machine. Can I make it without losing any data?

    Keeping no backups is a disaster waiting to happen so it is good that you are planning to use TimeMachine, but putting your backup on a partition of the drive you are backing up is almost like having no backup plan. There are lots of reasons you'd need to restore from a backup and many (if not most) would also leave your TM backup unusable. If your hard drive dies you'd have no TM backup. If your partition table is damaged you'd have no backup. If your computer were stolen you'd have no backup. If fire or flood destroyed your computer you'd have no backup. Buy an external hard drive and use that for TM backups and you can leave your computer's hard drive alone.

  • How to adjust the camera overlayview size

    i am making a photography app and need to overlay an image over the camera. i am wondering if there is a way to adjust the size of this image because it's going to full screen by default.
    currently, i'm solely displaying the overlay picture using the code:
    picker.cameraOverlayView = cameraCase;
    where the "cameraCase" is a uiimageview that is being overlayed on top of the camera and "picker" is the uiimagepicker.
    i would also need to add buttons (of custom sizes) on top of the camera view as well - i'm assuming i can adjust the size of these as i would a picture.
    any knowledge you're willing to share would be much appreciated!
    many thanks in advance!

    that that wasn't really the correct answer - anyone got anything?
