How to always show the BCC field in Apple Mail in Yosemite

I've been searching for this through various websites, but the instructions I've found correspond to older OS versions and I cannot find how to do this for Mail in Yosemite.
I would like to be able to see the BCC field in all Mail message windows. I've figured out how to bring up the BCC field while composing an email, but I can not see the field when I review my sent mail.

I can only speak to Yosemite 10.10.1 and Apple Mail 8.1 at the moment. You can simply press Command-Option-B while in Mail and it should toggle the setting. You can see the option in Mail by pulling down the "View" menu in the Menu Bar where you can simply tick beside "BCC Address Field."

How can I search the BCC field of my sent mails?

Does anybody know how it is possible to convince mail.app (mail.app 4.6 under OSX 10.6.8 , in my case) to perform a search within the bcc. field of sent emails?

I am running Thunderbird v 24.2.0 under Bodhi Linux (Ubuntu derivative).
I click on the Address Book button to open my address book.
Then I click Edit > Search Addresses.
This opens a detailed dialog box called Advanced Address Book Search.
First, I can choose which address book(s) to search.
Then I can use a drop-down menu to choose various fields and search criteria, to build a regular expression for searching. It is actually quite comprehensive.
The only problem for me is: Most of my key words are located in the "Other" field, which is not included in the drop-down list. Very frustrating. The information is there, but it cannot be accessed with this tool. (At least, I have not figured out how to do so.)

How can I change the "From:" field in iOS Mail?

This is a weird one.
I have a gmail work email account that has been set up for me. There's a primary email address assigned to it, and a secondary one (which is the one I want to use).
No problem at all sending from the secondary account on my MacBook Pro. I just hit the drop down menu by the "From:" field, and I can select it from there.
However, when I send from my iPhone, I'm only given the option of sending from my primary email address, not the secondary one. This is despite the fact that I've synced Mail accounts via iTunes.
Any idea how I might fix this so I can send from the secondary account on my iPhone?

First of all, please fill in the Computer Model and Operating System fields on your My Settings’s profile (and click Save). This is essential information that should always be provided when asking for help.
Now, what does “I can't change it” mean? What appears in the From header of the messages you send is determined by your Mail > Preferences > Accounts > Account Information settings...

How can I edit the 'from' field at e-mail receipts

I tried to add my own name in the 'from' field in the section 'e-mail receipts', but the system won't let me edit the field. It always sticks with the standard 'from' name Adobe Forms Central. I have a Plus Subscription package.
Please advise how to proceed. Thanks.

Does anyone know how to use the bcc functionality for apple mail while accessing it on the cloud from my PC?

I am currently away from my MAC and want to send an email through apple mail with the bcc functionality. I am using the cloud to get to my mail, however, I can't figure out how to use the BCC functionality, please help. Thanks!

lower left corner click on settings,
go to composing and check BCC, save and your done

This is dependent on the RSS feed itself. Many feeds only include summaries of the articles, which is likely what's going on with the feeds you're subscribed to. If the feed does show the full text of the article, it'll show up in Mail.

How can I disable the Spam filter on Apple Mail?

Hi All!
About a year ago I installed Virus Barrier X6 with Personal Antispam on my 27 inch iMac. The Virus software seems great and I have no issues. The Antispam I have never installed and i have continued with the Junk options, however I have an issue with what I think is the Intego version (you may correct me) which is driving me mad!
On the left hand column of my Apple mail software is a folder headed 'ON MY MAC', called Spam. eBay messages, work messages, banking etc etc are going straight into there and I cannot seem to alter any settings.
The email is highlighted in purple and when I try right clicking, it offers only the standard options as with any other email. There are no spam options at the top of the screen, there is nothing on the Launchpad relating to it and when I search the mac (top right), there are absolutely no hits whatsoever entitled Spam or similar?
Since my recent update to M/Lion, the Intego Personal Antispam icon on Launchpad has disappeared by the way - so I cannot be sure that this is an Intego. Is it possibly an Apple generated icon?
I would be happy to keep it there if I could control it. If not, I just need rid of the thing. I cannot teach the software to learn or unlearn - so i am completely at its mercy. Your help would be very much appreciated.

It is caused by a rule within Apple Mail. Check Preference > Rules.
If Personal Antispam has disappeared, it's because the product was discountinued. See this link for that info plus some instructions on how to deal with what you are seeing: https://support.intego.com/entries/21639926-Personal-Antispam-Discontinued
Once Personal Antispam has been removed, you can just remove the folder manually (right click, remove).

How to I delete the Reminder box in apple mail

Surely there must be a way to delete the Reminders tab which has appeared on the left hand side of mail??
I accidently clicked 'notes' at the top and the remeinder box appeared??? on Snow Leopard you could drag the mail application down onto the dock again and it would remove it, but on Lion no such luck!!! Anyone know how it is done? OR is it a case of Apple can't be arsed to sort out a solution????

In the left column of mail, click on the disclosure triangle to the left of the "Inbox" label to open the view, then click on the mailbox (server) that you're interested in.
You can also take individual mailboxes (servers) offline to reduce the arriving traffic; I have a mailbox set up for mailing list traffic, for instance.

How can I combine the emails of 2 Apple Mail files?

My wife stopped using a white MacBook 3 months ago, switched to a 17" MacBook, and now needs to switch back. Is it possible to combine the emails and metadata of the Mail files now on these 2 different MacBooks into 1 file without redundancies and with the pertinent metadata?

How do you show the number of emails in Mail folders?

I'm a little lost with the new Mail format.
It was really helpful for me to know the number of emails that were in my Mail folders - it used to tell me at the top. But since I upgraded to Yosemite, I don't see that as an option. Can someone tell me - is there a way to make this feature come back?

I've never seen "1 of XX" in OS X that I can recall. Often, iOS will show that.
In OS X, typically, you'll see the number of messages in the titlebar (i.e. Unread (22 messages)). However, there seems to be an issue that if you view a smart folder, when you go back to the Inbox, you don't see the number of messages anymore. If you quit and restart Mail, the number appears. Perhaps that's what you're seeing?
